I just finished my 3rd round of Clomid...going in for my ultrasound today. I got pregnant so easily back in November last year but it ended in an ectopic. I lost a tube. I dont know why its so hard now. So the Robitussin does help? What about the preseed? I heard it was good but I have also heard it was bad. I just want to do whatever I can to help the situation. I didn't use the Robitussin on the 1st round, but I did on the 2nd and that's when I got pregnant. I'm convinced it worked! :) I also lost a tube with my ectopic in September. I have my first appointment with a specialist on December 10th. I was wondering if only having one tube would make it harder. MTaylor, did your doctor say if that can affect how quickly you get pregnant again?

Babyfever12...I had my other tube checked (HSG test) and it was perfectly fine. She said with that tube being ok I should still be able to get pregnant it might just take longer. She said since the tubes "sweep" the area for the egg that its just harder for it since its the only one "sweeping". She said I just dont have a backup tube now...but that is still a big deal because if something happens with this one I wont have any left. But then my periods were really messed up so she said I wasnt ovulating properly. Thats why I got put on the clomid. I heard I might start getting some kind of injections next time....

Oh my..I didn't even think about the chance of my other tube not being ok. I guess I shouldn't worry about it until I know for sure. After my miscarriage my hormones were all crazy and progesterone was extremely low, so my obgyn put me on Clomid to increase
that. It obviously worked, but my levels
haven't been checked since the ectopic.

Laurap86 you can talk to me anytime cause I need someone to talk to too a person can only take so much I almost gave up but im not going to the Dr said I'm just fine to so ladies it just play the waiting game for now we will get our happy ending eventually maybe not now but it will happen, you just got to be positve . I know we have heard that a million times but one day it will be our day baby dust to all

I just wanted to mention too that i was taking robitussin the month i got my bfp too. Clomid completely dried me up. In fact that month i launched a full scale attack & was having pinapple core, grapefruit juice, drinking green tea and using a lubricant called preseed. I cant tell you which one worked but something worked! i know its frustrating & exhausting having to put so much effort in when other ladies dont even have to try. But it is so worth it i promise u that. Even though i suffered hyperemesis the first few months it was still worth it. And if i didnt mention already, Id get my period maybe every 3-4 months before clomid! Hang in there beautiful ladies & try not to let the process get you down. xx

Hello TTCafter40, I just got my progesterone reults as well and it was 19.18!!! WOOP WOOP...So excited that I ovulated, but i can't hardly stand the waiting game. I am hoping for a BFP as well, but if not I will be starting another round of clomid 50mg on days 3-7 as well. SO happy for all of you and lots of baby dust to everyone!!!!!

ok does anyone ever respond on this site. I been posting for the about a month on here and no one has ever said anything to me. I have tried to respond to other people and no one ever says anything back. I give up because i thought this site was an outlet to share ur feelings about clomid. It is so hard to tlk to other people that didn't have trouble because they always have something stupid to say, like do u really want to give up ur freedom or r u sure because children are a headache, well if they were y did u keep having them....uuggghhhhhh

Baby_blue36; I agree with you that it is hard to talk to people about ttc. I had my first clomid treatment in Sept. And got a BFP. It felt really good because last Dec.-Jan. I had a heterotopic pregnacy where I lost both babies and my left tube. Just yesterday I had a D&C and another ectopic pregnancy, but luckily I still have my right tube and will get it checked. out in 6 months. I am a rare case with two heterotopic pregnancies. I wish you luck and I will be trying again next year! I won't give up! Baby dust to all

Blue: I know how you feel. We are at almost 4 years of trying coming spring and we are still having trouble getting pregnant again. I'm on my first round and it's still all new to me but keep going! It will happen someday soon!

Hi Jones! I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. That is rare. But that's the spirit, not to give up! I have a friend that got pregnant & had her healthy baby girl with one tube. So, keep on trying coz there is hope!

Blue I know it's frustrating and trying. But I want to say to ALL of you keep the FAITH. I've been trying since '08 , I started my 1st round of Clomid in Sept '12 I had a few sucky side effects & early last month I got a BFP. Currently 8wks & counting! As hard as it may be stay Positive & Faithful.. Baby BLESSINGS to ALL of You!!!!! :-)
