Today is day 30, nothing yet but still cramping like af is coming. Don't want to go get preg. test just yet. I think i will wait until Tues.

Good morning all, hope you had a good weekend!
I’m so not in the mood for work but at least its only a 4 day week then I’m off for 11 days with easter etc.
Babymoon – I’m very sorry about af. I know that feeling SO well. At least you can start your clomid again soon, r u taking it again this month? I’m happy to hear about your friend, how long was she on clomid, that is good news for all of us :)
O-baby – does sound like you could be ovulating, I never get +opk’s so don’t worry too much about that. Thanks for the blessing, I cant wait till each of us has our profile pic set to a pic of our beautiful bundle of joy!
Radiance – also hoping af does not come for you. I’ve not noticed the heartburn but I’ve never had heartburn so I don’t think I’d know it even if I had it.

Ttc2 – My gosh I have my fingers and toes crossed for you, I really hope you get that bfp, I know you are too scared to test, how long are your cycles normally?
As for me, my obgyn and his secretary should be back today, so I need to call and see if I can fetch a script for the higher dosage clomid, just in case. I don’t wanna leave it as I take it cd2 so when af starts its a bit late to try and get it then. Also didn’t have the greatest weekend, partner and I have been arguing alot, also went away with the inlaws, and ended up sharing a room with my partners sister which was not planned, so not only did I feel very uncomfortable we could not do anything and only got back last night. Sunday morning I had some left ovary cramps and alot of blood streaked ewcm (sorry if tmi!). I don’t think I’ve had this mid cycle... not like this, it was quite obvious everytime I went to the bathroom and wiped. So ofcourse I googled too much and found that it normally happens when the egg is released and I was convinced I was ovulating since it was CD15 too, was not happy that we could not bd until last night, but was happy about ovulating mid cycle, then this morning my temp has not dipped or raised, so I don’t think I have ovulated :( Does anyone know what the blood can be on CD15 if its not ovulation? I’m quite confused!

Well af showed up sat night, so 30 days this month, I'm doing blood work and u/s this month so we can hopefully pinpoint when I am o. And then I'm declining all invites around that time! I won't have that prob this month!!
Angel friend only needed two months of clomid with each bub, she had a baby boy Sunday morning. Can't wait to meet him!
I'm on clomid days 5-9 this month so starting Wednesday. Really hoping this month is it!

Babymoon - I'm sorry about af coming, at least you can start the next clomid cycle now. I hate being in this waiting for ov time, I never know when its gonna come and it actually stresses me out so much that we'll miss it, cause we cant bd every day that is a bit much... also unfortunately wont be having the u/s or the blood work this month which sucks a bit but maybe its better... last time the u/s showed i was just about to ov and then still only ov'd quite a few days later.

TTC2, thinking of you!
angel, where do you go away with your in-laws to? Is it a weekend vacation spot? If so, it sounds like it is constantly causing you more stress than relaxation :/ However, if you ovulated Sunday, you definitely could have gotten to it in time.
Babymoon- AF showed up for me Sat. night as well, so you and I are on the same cd days! I will find out from my doctor today whether or not I hope back aboard the clomid train tomorrow or Weds. So, to say goodbye to my month "off" I had some drinks with family on Sat. night, and then many with friends yesterday during a very, very, very, very long lasting brunch that included plenty of Irish whisky. It will be quite a while until I can act so leisurely with alcohol, so I embibed.

And yes these trips are stressful. Just cause we have no privacy and they are at the worst time, the last one was also around ovulation time for me. But I dont think I ovulated, dunno what the pink cm was all about, my temps just haven't risen yet. So will keep with my opk's and see what happens. Really hope your doc gets you back on clomid :)
I just spoke to mine, as he was going to increase the dosage, but he says that after my progesterone test result the first round I'm having great ovulation (whatever that means...) and sometimes if they increase your dosage and you are ovulating fine on the lower one it can actually interfere with your ability to have kids, so I will be on the 50mg again for the 3rd month it seems, which is fine, better than nothing! Dont know what happens after that though...

ttc2 - So happy for you that AF hasn't shown up yet, really hoping you get your positive on Tuesday! I don't know how you hold out, I don't think I could! I get way to ansy during that last few days of the two week wait!
Babymoon/Jac1019 - I'm sorry that AF came on the weekend :( But I'm thinking positive thoughts for you this cycle that you're just starting, good luck to both of you!
As for me, I'm feeling good this month. Last week the metformin though was really starting to get to me and I was feeling really nauseas. But the last few days I've felt fine and had an appetite again so I'm happy about that. lol I probably over indulged yeterday because I was so happy about feeling good again! I'm working today, tomorrow and wednesday then I'm off of work for 5 days and heading to San Francisco! So happy I'll be distracted near the end of my two week wait . . . I really really really want to get my positive preg test this month (I know we all feel that way), but I don't have an expectations that it's going to happen. I have to wait until April 28th before I can test, so still just over a week and a half!

hopefullysoon- Your trip will be so fun and so relaxing for you! My husband and I were talking about taking a mini vacation of some sort.....shoot, I think it would be good even if it was just for a saturday...lol And I know what you mean about really wanting and hoping for your bpf this month! I am ready also! This was my third round, really hoping that this is it for my hubs and I. I am keeping my fingers crossed that this is your month girl! =)

Angel- Sorry to hear that you and your partner have been arguing =( Do you think it could be the stress from ttc? It can sometimes take a toll on some couples. And I am not sure what the pink cm could be. It could be an early start on AF?....I am not sure, that is just a guess. And yes, definitely try to stay away from sharing a room with in laws. I know you already know that though. Good luck to you this month =)

My day for my blood test has been pushed back until tomorrow at 3:15. So I probably won't know anything until Wednesday. I am now feeling a tightening sensation in my lower stomach. And also experiencing some slight lower back pain. AF is not do until the 28th or after. I have also been experiencing headaches. ?????

Hello all. I haven't posted in a while. So my wife and I got an ultrasound yesterday on third round of clomid. Dr saw 1 follicle. The size is 12.5mm. Me and my wife were pretty excited. Now I have a question.. is there anyway we can increase the size? I heard that the follicle can either shrink or grow and we want it to grow. Also I was hoping that she had more follicle. Is it possible to get pregnant with one follicle? Thanks.

Hello ladies I'm new to the site but I have been reading all the success stories. I am 31 years old and dh and I have been ttc for about a year. I stopped taking bbl Dec 2008 and every since then periods have been very irregular. I was confused be wise even before the pills I was regular and ovulation. I was told that once you stop you go back to your normal cycle well didn't happen for me. A few months went by and I had a period on my own in a 6 month time spam. Went to dr and they gave me prometrium to force a period to help jumpstart the process. The next month nothing so I was given promethium again and also clomid. First round on 50mg days 5-9, no ovulation. Second round 100mg days 5-9, no ovulation. Dr kept me on 100mg but added metformin. At this point I was so disappointed I didn't go and pick them up from the pharmacy. Plus I was in nursing school and I was soooo busy and it was expensive I decided to stop until I graduated. Long story short I started aggressively began to get the show on the road this year. Went to dr and everything is normal and healthy. I will begin clomid again this month at 100mg days 5-9 and I am currently taking metformin and prenatal vitamins. I am really hoping this works for us. We want a baby so bad. Seems like everyone around me is getting pregnant. I want it to be my turn :( sorry for the long post but I feels really good to express it to women who know what I'm going through. Also it was diagnosed with PCOS. Has any one just been taking 500mg of metformin only, seems like most women are on 1500mg. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)

Chocolate lady - welcome! And yes I agree, feels so good to talk to other lady's going through the same process! I'm sorry to hear about your struggles with ttc.
I also was diagnosed with PCOS. I'm currently on my 5th round of clomid. Just waiting to take a preg test at the end if the month, I've already got my positive opk this month.
My 1st month on clomid I did 50mg and ovulated, 2nd month no ovulation, 1st month on 100 mg ovulated, 2nd month on 100mg didn't 0. So now I'm on 150mg and metformin and ovulated. I also had my tubes flushed last month and last month started using pre-seed lubricant. I'm hoping the combination of everything does the trick!
I wish you luck on this round of clomid and metformin. Oh and fir metformin I'm on the 1500mg. 500 3x's a day

Chocolate lady-Welcome! You will love it here. My dr. put me on metformin 500mg 3xday. I took it maybe 3wks then 1st round of clomid 50mg days 4-9. Be glad your dr. started you on a low dose of metformin I'm sure he is doing it for the simple reason of how it makes you feel to start off with. It does get better & since he started you off on low dose you probably will not have any problems (YAY for that smart dr). Don't give up though we are all here to support you! You are in my prayers! Your month is coming I can feel it! :)
