Babymoon - I'm glad your side effects are gone, and I hope it stays that way for you! And it's me that lives in Vancouver, jac1019 lives in Philadelphia. And yes it's gorgeous here, I couldn't imagine living anywhere else ( except maybe Hawaii or Australia, so it was warm out all year round!)

Well I'm on day 8 of provera! So close to my pills being over with and AF is on it's way! Yay to starting the next round of clomid soon! I've had this awful sore swollen throat for the last few days and I wish it'd hurry up and disappear!

I'm going to a baby shower today (baby Is already born) and I'm quite surprised that it's not bothering me! But I guess that's a good thing! I'm going to ask my friend if she still wants me there even though Im sick, I don't want to get the baby sick, she's only a month old.

OBABY - did AF show up yet?

O-BABY - March 27

hopefullysoon- I am so ready to start this next round of clomid too! AF has NOT shown yet! :( Not so happy about that! I have all my usujal symptoms though...maybe and hopefully AF will show within the next day or two.

That is really good that the whole baby shower is not bothering you. I was thinking, it may be because she has already had the baby and you won't see her pregnant? Just a theory of mine. Well I hope that you have a good time :) Hopefully before too long one of us will be having a baby shower of our own!! :)

Sorry guys I mainly message from my phone and clearly got mixed up!
How is everyone feeling today? I started opk testing today, faint line so no positive but I feel pretty good as usually I have nothing, no line at all. Hoping for surge tomorrow or the next day when hubby isback!! Have a great Monday all!

@ngel - March 28

Good morning all!

Sorry for not coming online on the weekend but I have to use my phone and its such a mission to try and read through everything and reply from my phone..

I will call later for my progesterone result... actually very nervous, have my hopes up and I really know I should not.
Also starting my new eating plan from the dietician today, would rather be on metformin to try and lose weight but the doc wont put me on it just yet.
So envy those of you in the US, I’ve always wanted to live / visit there, maybe oneday I will get to tour through there for a bit ? Not many places we can go in SA and its very expensive.

Will try and reply to all of you now just read through all the posts so hope I don’t get things mixed up!

Also, I got my next script of clomid (fertomid) on Sat, I figure with Murphys Law and all... if I get the next script I might not need it :p Wishful thinking!
Babymoon – I really hope your O waits for your hubby to be back... its frustrating if you have to wait another month!

O-baby – I have been thinking of buying a baby outfit to keep in my drawer just as a bit of a positive affirmation type of thing... like maybe baby will come if I have the outfit ? Also hope your AF shows soon.
Babymoon – fingers crossed for that positive opk!!!!

Hopefullysoon – how was the baby shower? I saw another girl from work had her baby last week... and I couldn’t help but cry, she is very young and didn’t want to even be pregnant, so seeing how happy she is on cloud 9 even though it was unwanted just made me a bit emotional, my cousin is also on cloud 9, and I really wanna feel what all these women are describing.

Have a great day all, will let you know my progesterone result!!!

@ngel - March 28

Hi all, finally got my results after having to call 4 times, they must be so annoyed with me lol, my progesterone level is 55.. and I ovulated. Now 55 does not mean much to me, but at least I know the Clomid worked :D Probably the first ovulation I've had in I dont know how long. 55 sounds quite high to me, so maybe I was not 5dpo at the test, maybe I ovulated earlier...??? Mmm now I just wonder if we bd's at the right times... and now the 2ww.....

jac1019 - March 28

Yay, angel! Hopefully it works this month and you get some great news.

Hopefullysoon- how was the baby shower? Two women with whom I teach are pregnant, and it's a constant reminder that I am not. :/

This weekend I took advantage of taking a break from ttc this month, like my fertility doctor said. I drank way too much wine while with friends on Saturday night, but had such an amazingly fun time. Yesterday's hangover was bittersweet; it hurt, but was worth it. I think I needed a break from ttc, worrying about my neurological health, etc. I definitely destressed Sat. night. Then yesterday I made a HUGE pot of chili, which turned out really well; it was a successful weekend :) Strangely, I am feeling very optimistic this week. I hope it continues.

@ngel - March 28

jac1019 - Thanks, I'm trying very hard not to get too excited! Was at a 30th on Sat and also prob had a bit too much wine as I just needed to let my hair down and was feeling so negative about the progesterone test,was not drunk and it was lite rose wine but still felt a bit guilty today...

I'm sure the month off for you will feel long be can only do some good, you can have some time to relax and not obsess about ttc like the rest of us are :) It becomes such an obsession.

Surprisingly I had a really good time at the baby shower, and I held the baby most of the time well I was there. She was so tiny and adorable! She seemed brand new still (I also saw her in the hospital the day she was born) even though shed already a month old. It's a really close friend of mine so maybe that's why the shower didn't bother me? One of her aunts did ask me though when I wax having kids, I just said "sooner or later" lol which is true, but hopefully sooner rather than later!

OBABY - I'm sure AF will be here soon if you're showing all your usual symptoms! My first time on it I was spotting before I was even done my pills and AF right away. my 2nd time on it I had to wait a couple days after my pills were gone. Soon enough we'll both be on our next (and hopefully last) round of clomid!!!

Angel - I'm SO happy for you that you ovulated! Thats great news!

Babymoon - good luck with your opk testing! I hope you get your positive soon!

Jac1019 - it sounds like you had a great weekend! And I'm glad you're trying to take advantage of your month off! This Friday night I'm also going to be drinking, possibly heavily lol!! I won't be on my next round of clomid yet so I'm taking advantage as I need to relieve some stress!

hopefullysoon - March 28

Oh and thus stupid sore throat has gotten worse and I've lost my voice! So I can't go to work today! Me and my dog will be hanging out on the couch. I really hope my voice gets better soon! I need my voice to work and I feel fine everywhere else.

Babymoon - March 28

Angel that's great news that you o'd! Did you use opks around that time?

Well ladies, on the subject of drinking and particularly to hopefullysoon be careful with the metformin, I'm discovering I can only drink two glasses of wine before getting sick!! I don't really mind as I'm not drinking that much anyway, but I actually feel quite drunk on two!

Babymoon - March 28

Jac sounds like you had a great night, just what you needed!

O-BABY - March 28

Angel- That is fantastic that you ovulated! Fingers crossed that this is your month girl! :)

hopefullysoon- I am glad to hear that you had a good time at the baby shower. I would have held the baby the whole time too...lol So how is the Metformin doing for you? And sorry that you have a sore throat, hoping that you feel better soon girlie =)

Babymoon- My fingers are crossed for you that you get your positive this month!! How are you doing on the Metformin?

jac1019- Nothing like a stressless time out with friends :) And I LOVE chili, sounds so good! Just continue to have fun and enjoy the rest of the month that you have off :)

O-BABY - March 28

Well...AF has still not shown up, but the nurse said that it may take 7-10 days after the last Provera pill. I have no idea that it could take that long! And for some good news....my doc put me on Metformin! I hoping really hoping that it helps me lose weight, fingers crossed for that!!!

O-BABY - March 28

I meant .....I had no idea that it took that long.

hopefullysoon - March 28

Babymoon - thanks for the heads up with drinking with the metformin! I think I will only take my pill with lunch, not dinner and pace my drinks in case it ends up hitting me faster than usual!
