Well I decided to take another hpt before going to the doc this morning and I got a BFN. I'm devastated and can't stop crying. I wish I never got the BFP to begin with because it got my hopes up. Now I just have to wait for AF. Can't believe this is happening.

Kittymom--I am so sorry sweetie. That is awful. Maybe this test could be wrong? Just don't give up and try to stay calm. I know it's easier said than done. But I've learned that I need to try to keep myself calm because being all crazy and stressed about it doesn't help. I will be praying for you dear.

Kittymom: I am so sorry to hear this sad news! You are in my thoughts and prayers! Never give up!! We have to keep trying! I know it's hard to hear, but God's timing is perfect. We may not always understand why, but His plan and his timing is the best!!

Thanks for all of your thoughtful words and prayers. It's so nice to know I can come here and get the encouragement I need when I'm feeling so down. AF has started to arrive, so I guess now I just have to get ready for the next cycle. Not sure I want to continue with Clomid though, the side effects are too frustrating, although I always get multiple good follicles, so I'm torn.

mtaylor829: how many good follicles did you have with Femara? Do you like being on that one better?

So I took a a clear blue ovulation test yesterday (not the digital one) The LH surge line was almost the exact same color as the control line so I am pretty sure I ovulated?!? I have also had cramping around my ovaries. This month I have done the first response and the clear blue digital and non digital test. Have any of you used the clear blue non digital test and what did it look like when you ovulated? I hate these ovulation test! I think they are stressful! I am pretty sure if I don't get pregnant this month, next month I am using the digital ones all cycle bc they are less stressful. Have any of you gotten pregnant while testing for ovulation but never had a positive ovulation test?

Also, I have not seen in abnormal dishcarge like a lot of women get around ovulation. I feel like the Clomid makes me dry.

Crmr, when both lines are the same color it means that you are going to ovulate some time within the next 36 hours. If yours was that way last night, then & now are the most important times to BD. I use the wondo strips to test ovulation & it shows a control & test line. The test line gets darker as you get closer to your LH surge. Last August, I tested positive on my opk on CD13 at 8:00pm & BD'd that night & the next day. I got pregnant that month. Also, I used 2tsp 3x per day of original robitussin beginning the day after my last clomid pill until I got a positive on the opk. That helps to loosen your cervical mucus when clomid dries you out. I've also read that mucinex & preseed work well too. Good luck to you!!

I've been reading every page of this forum and figured I HAD to register and take part! I'm 24 and DF is 25. We have been together 6 years. We never seriously tried to get pg but we never used any methods to NOT try...in that time I had 3 m/c's. (Or chemical pregnancies). I would get a + test, then get confirmed at the doctor, then miscarry 2-3 days later like clockwork each time. My periods have become really strange since my first m/c 6 years ago. They go anywhere from 30-40 days. My last 3 cycles were 36 days, 38 days then 27 DAYS! They are all over the place.

Now we are TTC with no results. After about 20 (seemed like) blood tests and 2 trips to the OBGYN, she says my progesterone levels might be low and she isn't sure if I ovulate every month so she gave me some clomid. She also says that my levels are TRENDING toward PCOS (not quite there but getting there)..

I am on day 5 of the first round and I am feeling 0 side effects. I hope this works!

Welcome Katie! Sorry for your previous losses. Hopefully Clomid will help you get a healthy bfp!! I didn't have many side effects on this round of Clomid either. I previously had horrible headaches & hot flashes. Did you do cycle days 3-7 or 5-9? Are you being monitored? Good luck to you & keep us posted!

Thanks Babyfever! 0 side effects, started days 4-8 because I spotted lightly for 3 days and then come to find out AF came 8 days earlier than usual(I haven't started near day 28 in years!). I thought it was implantation bleeding but it didn't stop after 3 days and got a tiny bit heavier, so my OB confirmed my cycle came really early (even though I got blood work done the day before spotting started and she said my progesterone indicated I didn't ovulate yet) so we weren't expecting me to start so early.

I go in on Wednesday for a follicle testing ultrasound to see if the clomid works.

I know this is TMI...but I hear clomid dries you out, I am having the exact opposite! Hope that's normal.

guess I spoke to soon on the 'no side effects thing'....it's barely noticeable but sometimes I find myself HOT (maybe mild hot flashes). I also thought they could be because my fiance always turns the heat up too high haha. This past weekend I felt really sick for one day, and I am not sure if that was a side effect either. Like nauseated, tired and out of it.

Yea, those hot flashes are no fun.

I had my CD21 progesterone today. Should get the results tomorrow. Hoping I get good news!!! I'm having a lot of breast tenderness. I think I had it last time in Clomid though, so I'm not getting my hopes up.

hi everyone, i am new here and like hearing success story, i am ttc for the past 8 months now, and i took my ist clomid 2-6 and i did my scan on day 14 and i have multiple follicles which measured at the left 36.1mm, and 26.9mm, and the right is 28mm.so my Dr said i might have to O that very day. i wish and today is my day 16 and i actually O that day, i cant wait to get my pg test, bcos i actually ovulated. wish u all baby dust, and this is my month.

clomid is a miracle fertility drugs, i really makes me ovulate, but the ovulation process was so painful, but i thank God i ovulated, i and my DH really did alot of job b4 d O and after the O, i pray get pregnant dis month

Had my ultrasound today. No follicles on the left ovary, 1 or 2 on the right. The doc will call me later with the results. Not sure what this means...

Hi everyone, I'm 21 years old and have been ttc for over 4 years now and no luck, I have done all my labs and everything is normal but I do have irregular periods/cycles and I'm wanting to start taking clomid because I did have a m/c on 05/31/2009 and never got pregnant since then I just been so upset to see other women pregnant and not me and its making me cry and wonder can I get pregnant? I just left a message for my ob to see if he would prescribe me clomid so I can start and because I do read success story of clomid so it gives me confidence on tryin it out
