why did my menstrual start after intercourse?

My menstrual stoped yesterday and today I had intercourse with my fiancie and afterwards I noticed that I was bleeding. Why did tat happen?What does that mean?Could I have conceived today?

Was it a large amount of blood? Or was it a watery thin almost just a tint of pink in your discharge? Was he protected or not? I have PCOS and when my husband and I have sex, 9 out of 10 times I bleed for about a day. We have determined it's the position tearing something in there (since neither one of us has any STD's) Bleeding after sex can, however, be an indicator of one or two STD's, so if you havn't been checked for that yet you most deff. should.
