listen I know what you are going through and its hard. butr if you keep stressing over it, things can get worse! you need to relax and things will happen...We have been trying for while to , we have a 2 1/2 old. keep your self busy..now with in a year and still nothing then worrie..And I too have irregular periods, hang in there...good luck

Go see a doctor i had irregular periods and i have what is known as polycystic ovarian syndrome. if you dont have a period you donot ovulate that month so go see a doctor

I HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR 21/2 YEARS AND UNFORTUNATELY EVERY TIME WAS NEGATIVE.WELL I GAVE UP AND SAID THAT I WOULD WAIT,AND TWO MONTHS LATER I FOUND OUT THAT I WAS PREGNANT.I THINK THAT IT WAS HARD TO CONCEIVE BECAUSE OF ALL THE STRESS AND NOT SURE IF SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH YOU.MY ADVICE WOULD BE TO NOT TRY

ALSO I WOULD TRY TO TAKE THE OVULATION TEST.GOOD LUCK!!!!

Jay - Dee... I know how you feel. I am irregular myself. My dr put me on clomid and the first month we got pg! Had a m/c unfortunately but at least we know we can get pg. She told me that I wasn't O'ing and couldn't get pg on my own without help. Have you spoke to your dr about it? Are you testing for ovulation? Charting your temp, having sex in the "recommended" positions for conception??

Heather, thank you so much for your information ! After reading your post i just regained alot of hope ! I am going to my doctors this wednesday. I have to get a checkup and while i am there i will ask him a bunch of questions. No, i havent tried taking my temp. I do, however use the reccomended positions. How long have you tried to get pregnant before you finaly got help? I am so sorry about your m/c. That must add alot of stress to your life.Well, write back if you can. We have been trying for 8 months now (nearly 9). I know how you feel, it is hell! This is going to be our 3rd baby aswell and I caught within 5 months with the first 2 so it is more stressful. hope the doctor gives you good news. Maybe I should go and see mine?

Hi Jay-dee! I too have been trying for 4 months. This will be # 2. Our first turns 3 in August. With him we conceived without trying, so I got a little stressed when we hadn't conceived right away. I had irregular peiords before my pregnancy, but now they are regular (or at least they were) until I missed my March/April. I last had a period on Feb. 23. I went and saw my doctor and she did some blood tests to see if I was producing too much or too little of specific hormones. All came out normal, so I went on Thursday to get a pelvic us to check for cycst. I go back and see her tomorrow for results. However, she had told me if all is normal with the us we would check into something like clomid. But (I know this is long) my friend had tried for 3 years and then her doctor 'cleared her tubes' with fluid and just said they had been blocked, and then she conceived right away. I was going to also ask about that tomorrow. Keep the faith and try not to stress. I know, easier said than done especially when you had your mind set that you already would be.

Madeline and Melissa, thank you for responding ! I wonder why this stuff can get so hard sometimes ! My parents always warned me telling me that its so easy to get pg and to watch out and all...now i think they are kind of wrong ! We dont have any yet, but we are still trying! Well, my period is irregular but usualy comes between the 16 to the 30th of each month. Well, it is the 25th today. And the other day i got something kind of like a period. But, it was like just a little bit of blood...not even enough for the use of a tampon, but the weird part was i had nothing but a bunch of brown stuff. It was really sticky and all, do you know what this could be? It lasted for like 3 days, and is about gone. Yes Madeline, this is beyond hell ! Melissa, keep trying and good luck to the both of you! Hey Jay-dee, My husband and i have been trying now for 3 months and this month is a bust since i just realized by my temp charting i already ovulated (EARLY UGH). I had been charting and checking cervix, mucous etc but got a yeast infection and it messed me all up and i think i ovulated a couple days ago. My cervix is down to 1 knuckle (3 when i ovulate) and i never felt it at 3 this month so it must have been while i had my little problem. We only had sex the day after i probably ovulated, the OS of the cervix was still open but i dont think the mucous was ok. Gosh its so frustrating and i know what you mean its like a roller coast. I"m late 30s and really want this badly. My period since i came off the b/c pill has been between 25-32 days so i dont know exactly when to ovulate and i hadnt even started the opk this month and it was too late. AAAHHHH ok i'll be sane again. Best wishes for u!

Andrea, wow ! That is frustrating! i hate it when that happens ! I have been referred to take ovulation tests. I guess they do work for alot of couples ! I have a doctors appt. tomorrow : ( lol Its always scary to go and see what they have to say ! Also, i had this one thing, im not sure what to call it. But, it started sunday, i went to the bath room and i seen that i was bleeding alittle. And i thought, oh great, just another period, no good news. Well, I noticed that my bleeding was light enough to where i didnt even need any tampons ...it was that light! But, i had a bunch of brown mucus. Its like really sticky...Do you or anyone else have any idea what that is ! ? Hopefully it will be good news tomorrow at my appt. ! Please keep in contact, and good luck Andrea!
