REALLY low hCG - anyone have experience?

Hi, I went for a blood test Monday and it came back as my hCG level as a 2. Yes, only a 2. They retested and on Wednesday I was a 12. I was asked to go back this Monday and Wed to have more blood tests... either I JUST got preggo (would have had to have ovulated really really late or twice) or I'm doomed... any experience? Thank you...
