I am going on vacation next week and then will be making another IUI attempt. My situation is a little different from the rest of you as my man has had a vasectomy and therefore I am using donor sperm, hence the need for IUI. If only I could try each and every month, but with the cost that just isn't possible. I have had about 6 attempts over the past couple years. I am going to try a few in a row after vacation. Any and all prayers and good wishes are appreciated!
Best of luck to everybody else who is trying. Only people who are experiencing the same "heartache" over trying to get pregnant really understand how emotionally difficult this is! It is good to have others to talk to and encourage each other. It is so good to see a couple of positive results on here to renew the faith!

We're trying for almost 13months. We did TWO CLOMID CYCLE on our ObGyne but it both failed. We went to RE and seek advice and put immediately to our very FIRST IUI w/ clomid. Hubby has a HIGH FSH level so his MORPHOLOGY is bad and so LOW. But we didn't loose our faith and we helped ourselves too. I searched in the Net what he should drink. I bought FERTILAID for Men online, MULTIVITAMINS for Men in CVS, we did two times the ACCUPUNCTURE and he drink herbal tea, he stopped smoking, and we DEVOTED and LIFT UP ourselves to GOD, Church, and Gospel books and songs. Then one day, our baby is now implanted in my womb! God is really good! After the long wait, we're now expectant parents.
I'm sharing this things to you guys coz I know how it feels but don't give up. GOD has a great plan for each and everyone of us. Baby dust to all and May GOD Bless us slways. :-)

Congratulations Immanuel and everyone else who have succeeded with a pregnancy. Hopefully, my time is right around the corner this is so stressful going through this every month seeing your AF when you want a baby so bad. Ive now been trying for 20 months this is getting really tough I just feel like giving up sex has just became a chore.

well I have an update. On friday when I tested my levels went up to 143, but after yesterdays test the dropped to 44. I was saddend by this news, and I continue to pray that god guides me through it all. Please keep me in your prayers. Hopefully, it was a "vanishing twin". giving all glory to god, Amen.

been following u ladies posts and I am so happy for those of u who are having success!! those who have not yet, keep your head up! I have posted on this specific forum twice before when DH and I tried IUI's before. (4 previously). We are now trying IUI with donor sperm after RE ran all kinds of specific tests on DH's sperm and finding out that there is all kinds of things wrong with it. My IUI should be sometime this weekend depending on my follicles. Everything with me has checked out great over and over again so they just decided to use letrazole 2.5mg twice a day on days 5-9 for this cycle. After ttc for 4.5 years now, I am so ready for my time to be here! I am excited and nervous as well! I will be posting again after my IUI! Good luck to the rest of u ladies! I hope there are lots of BFP's soon!

Stacy1225 sorry to hear your news also, I know it's tough we gotta keep our head up though I've been going through this 20 months that's a long time so I know how ur feeling with 4 years. All we can do is pray to god to give us that bundle of joy and he will in his timing and his way wheather we go through ivf iui or etc. Goodluck
Well ladies I've decided to try just clomid and natural intercourse this cycle, if I'm still not pregnant I will try another iui, wish me luck and baby dust to all.

Hi ladies! I know I'm jumping in here kind of late, but I'm in my 2ww, had my first IUI yesterday and I have been reading any and everything I could find about success for IUI's and I ran across this board. I keep telling myself that it CAN happen and I just need to keep the faith and be prayerful and running across this site was really encouraging so I wanted to chime in.
DH and I have been trying for the past 5 years. Unexplained infertility This cycle I took, 100mg clomid days 5-9, had u/s on day 2 with 2 follies, 21mm and 17mm, ovidrel that night (a Tuesday) and insemination that Thursday morning. DH had 15mil post wash, with 88% motility. I woke up the morning of my IUI with ovulation pains in my right side so I'm really hopeful that the timing was good.
Anyways good luck to those ladies who've just recently gotten their BFP and for those of us still trying, stay prayerful and keep the faith :-). My blood test is scheduled for March 8th. I'm only 1 day into my 2ww and I"m already obsessive. Ugh, this is gonna suck!!!

Welcome JChristine! How are u holding up so far in your 2ww? I sure understand how u feel! It does suck!!! Hang in there and keep us posted on how u are feeling!
I had my first donor sperm IUI today. (my 5th IUI total). This one went great. Post wash, had 18 mil progressive motile sperm. I had a pretty large follicle yesterday at 3.2cm, and had my HCG shot yesterday morning. I am definitely dreading the 2ww again!

Hello ladies how's everyone doing? Im doing ok just taking one day at a time we all know how each of us feel as we go through our journey trying to conceive. OMG stacy1225, NOT GOOD!!! I'm only 5 days in and I am totally obsessed. I wish there was a way for you to get an answer soon, rather than waiting two weeks to possibly get a big fat disappointment. I'm pretty good at pretending I'm not thinking about it (because my husband gets upset and fusses at me to relax) but in reality it's ALL I can think about.

I said I was going to wait until I have my blood work 3/8, because I don't want there to be any second guessing the results. I'm taking the progesterone suppositories which I've heard can delay your period, so I'm thinking the BETA test will be my only clear cut answer. Now though I'm wondering, if I would rather POAS and not be surprised by whatever the doctor calls with! I know it's not supposed to be this hard. I told you I was obsessed. LOL.

your arent obsessed! i am the same way! we just are passionate to have a baby! :) they are checking my progesterone on 3/5 and then treat it if its low. i took progesterone last IUI after i did follistim and they wanted me to come in for a beta, i POAS that morning and it was negative so i was kinda prepared in advance that it was going to be negative. it didnt make it any easier though. i dont have to come in for a beta unless they end up putting me on progesterone so i may start POAS on 10dpIUI hehe :) who knows though!

Hey ladies I was wondering if any of you have tried Femara? I am 23 yrs old and have PCOS. Clomid didnt work well for me and Femara 5mg+ Ovidrel Trigger Shot+ IUI= A healthy happy baby girl (who is now 15 months old!) I am currently ttc again and my RE just upped my dosage of Femara to 7.5. I go March 1st to see how my follies are growing. For some reason my PCOS has gotten worse since I had my daughter back in 2010.

Cool! I'll be wishing you the best. I started using the progesterone suppositories on 3 dpiui and today I'm only 5dpiui, but I haven't had any side effects from them. Yeah, like you said, I don't think seeing it at home will soften the blow any because I would still be thinking in the back of my head, that maybe that test is wrong, so I'm just going to hold out as best I can! Keep me posted I"m praying good things for all of the ladies on this site. Infertility is a struggle that I wouldn't wish on ANYone. FX for us all!
