Today I got a call from my doctor asking if I could come in this morning for my blood work due to the impending storm on the East Coast. I went in and got blood work done and got a BFN this afternoon. I just don't understand...I really thought I had all the symptoms. Sore nipples, cramping, pink CM, sharp pains (thinking implantation), waking up middle of night for bathroom, etc...They said a lot of these symptoms are due to the Clomid. I guess I will know now not to read into every symptom next time around. As of now, I am going right into round #2 of IUI as soon as I get my period. My husband and I went out to dinner tonight to spend some time together and to keep up our spirits. A glass of wine helped as well. :) I will continue to stay on this forum and give updates. cdoc10, try to stay positive. I know how frustating seeing a bfn is to see on a hpt. Type in bfn 12 dpo then bfp into Google and you'll see a ton of sucess stories. It helped lift my spirits and keep me hopeful! I am wishing you all the best this week for a bfp. Please keep us updated! :)

I've been reading along with all of you, and it feels like I know each of you! I had my first IUI on January 30th, and if I don't start by Friday I go in for a blood test. All of my tests have come back great! I was on 50mg Clomid for 5 days, got the trigger shot on Thursday and had 2 follicles, one on each side. Had the IUI on Saturday, and am almost finished the 2WW. Hubby had a vasectomy that we had reversed, but he now has antibodies. Keeping my fingers crossed, but I feel the AF coming on. Slight headaches, bloated, and irritable. We'll see, but it helps knowing that I'm not alone by reading your stories!

cdoc 10, I had the exact same thing happen to me! I had my first iui on Jan 27th. I was on my 2ww and on Sunday I HAD to take a hpt I couldn't take the suspense any longer, and it was a BFN. I then went in for my blood test on Monday morning and BFP!!!! I'm going to have it redrawn on Wednesday to ensure my numbers are doubling so..don't give up!! it DOES happen! This was my first iui, and I only had 1 mature follicle! good luck!!

Hey all I had my ultrasound on monday there is 1 baby! I got pictures and i got to hear the heartbeat! Everyones day will come best of luck to all!

jlh---you just made my day! what an amazing story. congrats to you--i hope your numbers are doing what they are supposed to. i may take another hpt tomorrow am and then bw on friday the 12th. Thanks to all for the well-wishes.

tryingtoconceive - I think clomid really does intensify symptoms. I've been on clomid 4 times now and each time I've had the nipple soreness and bloating and headaches, but I can't say I had much of that with just the follistim injections. So sorry about the BFN, but glad you are preparing for #2. I'm on #3 right now. Went in for US on Monday and Tues (was supposed to go in today but office asked me to come in yesterday due to snowstorm!) and have 4 follicles around 13-15mm, also have 2 cysts. Will do the ovidrel inj tonight and do the IUI on Friday morning. All - I guess HPT's are accurate, but if you get a BFN, don't give up hope! Until AF comes or you get that blood test, there is always a chance that those sticks didn't catch the hormone.

Hi and welcome MrsJJ I'm on my "month off" enjoying being snowbound with Hubby here on the East Coast. I should get AF sometime next week and start the process for iui #2. Here we go again! Just like tryingtoconceive10, I was getting all those "pregenancy" symptoms. This time I will be more aware of not paying any attention to all the annoying pokes and cramps and stuff. cdoc10; don't lose hope, it can definitely happen! I got more bw done today, and my hCg more than doubled so..I'm off to a great start! Don't lose hope, and I'll be thinking of you on Friday! it just may be too early for a hpt to show +?

Hello CAI and everyone else. I am doing pretty good. I went and talked to my doctor on wed after the first iui was unsuccessful. We are now moving on to the second iui with injectables. I am excited due to my doctor said that this will greater my chances of getting pregnant. She also made me a little nervous going over the possibilty of mutilple births. Has anyone had injectables and got pregnant on the first try? what is success rate with the injectable? I will continue praying that everyone gets there wish. Baby dust to all.

Harrisongoodall, some sites may be off so it is better for you to ttc all week. Our week is next week so get busy :) I actually go for my iui on Feb 18.
