CAI; my family have been betting that i do a hpt before friday, i think the worst part for me is doing the bloods in the morning then waiting till 2 that day to find out...get ready ill be on here allllll thursday, thanks for your support x x

harrisongoodall- I have not had any sickness. The only symptoms I've had are sore nipples and fatigue and even that has not been that bad. Knock on wood I've been pretty fortunate. Hopefully I keep up the luck. Time is standing still until my ultrasound this sucks.

Harrisongoodall, thank you for the welcome! I am happy that you are starting to feel better. I saw from your postings that you had the flu. Terrible timing, huh? I have read many success stories from women conceiving with only one follicle, so I pray that you have a positive result on Friday. Try to stay positive…I realize it’s hard. Today was the first day I started to feel down after reading how other women have such strong symptoms of pregnancy right after the IUI. I was starting to feel like maybe it didn’t work because I am not feeling those same symptoms. I guess I need to stop reading into every feeling my body has over the next week or I am going to drive myself crazy. I do have to go back this Wednesday (7 days after IUI) for blood work. I believe they are going to check my progesterone to see if I def. ovulated. Did you go for this? I am assuming if the test shows I didn’t ovulate…then I know it didn’t work? If the test comes back that I did ovulate, I haven’t decided if I am going to take a HPT before the actual test next Wednesday. I wish you all the luck in the world this coming week. SJP, congratulations! It’s so great to hear a success story and it being your 1st time makes it that much more exciting!! Please keep us updated as to how your ultrasound goes on the 8th. Like you I had 2 follicles on the left side only. I do hope since our situations seem similar, that I will have the same positive result. :)

CAI; i never got told to do a hpt just to go back and do it at the hospital; i have one upstairs thou! are u doing yours friday? x

tryingtoconceive10; no i didnt go back but that may be because the day before my insemination i went for bloods and scan in morning and got a call 3 hours later saying to do my final injection as i am natrually ovulating, so there for i went in the next morning, dont start panicing and keep strong, keep us updated and let us no how you go on so we can support you as much as we can, but hey dont worry things will be fine, i go back this friday for testing, to be honest i am starting to think shall i do a hpt! i dont no if its 2 early, i worked out tht i wouldnt even be due for my period while 5 days after the test, so really not 2 sure if its 2 early!! x

CAI; have you been tempted to do it sooner? i am thinking of doing one before friday but not 2 sure it its 2 early as my period isnt due while the following wed.

My biggest problem is that I am not having symptons like the rest of you; my breasts are normal and no implantation bleeding but I am keeping my hopes high.

CAI; omg really? i might do one 2 then lol, dont worry bout any thing with the symptoms, i dont believe for for min that my syptoms are because i am, dont worry about it one bit every one is different. my partner has drilled it in to his head tht i am and cant understand how it can not work!!! he cant wait to find out friday! isnt strange this time in 3 days will be sat down on computer either preg or waiting to start round 2! x
