Hello everyone. First time here..my dh and I being tryin for 2yrs.... October did a HSG one tube looks blocked not quite ..dh sperm count low he bein takin supplements for last 3 months,,,,I'm not in any meds...doc wants to try w/out any..before iui what test should i do first ..i'm using OPK my lh day 11 or 12

OMG.. OMG... My doctor just called and ....I'M PREGNANT. I can't breath. After 5 years of trying... finally. I can't believe it. I went to the kitchen to tell my husband and he knew right away and hugged me and I just started to cry. I'm trying to calm down now. To everyone I wish you all luck, don't give up it will work. … maybe not the first IUI maybe not even the second or third but it will work.

olgakay - CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! OMG - that is such exciting news!!! So amazing. How thrilling for you and your husband! What a way to celebrate the New Year!!! I love to hear about success stories. You are an inspiration. I will take my pregnancy test tomorrow. Hopefully I will have the same results. I found out from my insurance that I have to do 3 IUI's before I can go to IVF, so if it doesn't work this time, I'll start the injectables again for another IUI. CONGRATS Olgakay0518!!!!

Pregnancy test was negative on 12/31; got my period today. Will do combination clomid and injectables this cycle and then do IUI. Have to be out of town for a week beginning 1/7, so that is why doctor recommended clomid, but otherwise would have done injectables with US/BW.

hi there, i have been reading all your stories...and there are some very touching stories. i am 22 years old and been trying for a baby for 2 years, i am having iui very soon, i am waiting for my period so i can start my injection and have no idea what to expect, i came here to see how many couples it actually works for, i am not expecting it to work our first but still praying!! i no that no one is the same but still you always like to check. They says that me and my partner are normal and every thing is fine but its just unexplainable!! i no this my sound really girly,,,do the needles hurt ? lol and what should i expect? ; 0 )

ohhh yeah forget to ask my doctor said that there is only a 13% chance of iui working first time and it more aless doubles the 2 nd time...is that what you was told 2?? x

We did IUI plus injectables (menopur 150) and got lcuky on the first attempt. I had FSH 17 and DH had male factor issues. Baby boy is now 8 mo. Having IUI tomorrow hoping for another positive first round! Godd luck to all of you!

olgakay0518, CONGRATS!!!!! I am so happy for you and your husband. I've been checking in to see if you have any updates and to my surprise you are pregnant. I wish you a healthy and happy pregnancy. babysophy, I missed you. I wanted to tell you so badly but I didn't know if you are going to check new postings. Can you bellieve it, it worked. I still can't believe it. Monday I'm going to see how many out of 4 eggs worked. My husband is hoping for one, I wish for 2. :) I hope this time is works for you. I will let you know on Monday how it went for me. harrisongoodall, Needles don't hurt, they are very small, so that should be the least of your worries. :) In regard to how hight or low the chances are, it really depends on every person. I took a class and was told the everage every month is about 15-20 %, I never heard that it increases with how many times you do it. So I can't say anything on that. Good Luck to you.

cdefonso, Don't give up and keep trying. It will work one day. May be sooner than you think. I think it is very important to be positive during the time you are trying to get pregnant, even if you get disapointed, During my IUI I was so mental and kept waiting for the two weeks to end, take tests early. And the last time I really think it worked because I completely didn't think about it. It was during Cristmas, I had family over and was busy and having so much fun and it just happen. I just had my first IUI yesterday, the nurse told me about the 15-20% working the first time and it kind of bummed me out. My doctor told my husband and I he was confident it would work the first due to our situation. My husbands sperm motilitly was low so he figured just get them up there and we should be all set. Anyone else with that similar problem and how did it work for you?

olgakay0518 ; i no sounds daft to be worried bout needle i no, heard so many horrible stories from people who never had them!! just wanted to check! but any way omg bet your sooo happy, cant imagen the feeling of doing a test and it showing positive or been told your pregnant. thats great new congrats to you both...and fingers crossed its 2 x x x
