O-BABY any news to report yet? Has AF shown up or have you gotten a positive preg test back yet? I'm hoping that you have good news to share :)
I'm now on cd16 and still no positive ov test. I took a test this morning and this afternoon and their both negative. However I am starting to feel some slight cramping on my left side so I'm really hoping that means I'll get a positive tonight or tomorrow! Fingers crossed!

hopefullysoon- girl my fingers are so crossed for you! I hope that the light cramping is ovulation taking place, that would be great news! Keep testing, and keep us updated on the results. :)
As for me, AF has not shown yet and have tested twice, both PT's came back negative :( I called my Doc and she said for me to wait until CD32 and take another HPT. If the test on Cd32 comes back negative then I am to start provera again to start AF! So.....two more days and I will be able to relax a little..lol Trying not to be too stressed about it, I think I am doing really well...considering. High hopes to all of us!!!

O-BABY your blood test confirmed that you ovulated so you should get AF on your own. If it doesn't cone on it's own and you still don't get a positive test back i would get a blood test done confirming if you're pregnant or not before you start provera again. Cause you definitely don't want to be taking provera if you are pregnant. I'm thinking positive thoughts for you!!

Hi Everyone, this is my first time posting, it’s amazing to hear the success stories as I’m feeling a bit negative at the moment.. a bit of history, I am 32 years old (33 in 5 months). Not had any kids as I just have not been lucky enough to meet my Mr. right up until now. Went off the pill in Dec 2009. Stopped all forms of contraception around April 2010. Was on the pill for most of my teenage years and 20’s for acne. Never had regular periods (very few a year) and had to use natural progesterone cream to jump start them again last year and have about 37 day cycles, the last cycle being 28 day (the first 28 day cycle I’ve ever had without the pill). Diagnosed with PCOS in Aug 2010, but my doctor was not very interested or caring, so have a new OBGYN now. Saw him on the 2nd March (was my CD6) so he put me on 50mg Clomid (our pharmacies only stock Fertomid), took this CD6 – CD10. I am now on CD 19 but still no signs of ovulation, I’m not really sure if I ovulated before th clomid. I am seeing him this Friday on CD22 so I’m not sure if he’s going to test progesterone or do U/S. Could it be I will still ovulate, I don’t have any EWCM either. My cousin has actually just gone in an hour ago for her caesar and i’m so excited to meet the little man, but also a bit sad as all my cousins are younger than me and have kids now...
Oh also did OPK’s CD12 – CD19 (today will be my last one) but all negatives... wonder if my doc will keep me on clomid or up the dose...
Just thought I’d join all of you as it seems to help when you can talk to someone and the men don’t quite always understand why it gets us down.

hopefullysoon-
See that is exactly what I was thinking. It doesn't make sense for me to ovulate and then not have AF! So weird....right? And plus take two HPT's and both come back negative. I wonder if my HCG level is just extremely low? I am going to call the Doc again tomorrow to see if they can just go ahead and do a blood PT if the HPT's that I take wednesday show up negative. Thank you for your advice and support girl :)
angel-
Welcome! This is an amazing forum and the ladies on here are wonderful! They give great support and advice :) And you are right it is absolutely wonderful to be able to talk to someone that is going through the same or similar situation.
I bet that when you go in on cd22 your Doc will do a blood test to see if you ovulated. Not sure that he will up your dosage with this being your first month on Clomid. But you never know all Doctors are different. And I know what you mean about all of your cousins having babies and being younger than you....it is the same way for me. And it seems like ALL of my friends have had babies and there are three right now that just found out that they are pregnant! It can be stressful at times....we just have to keep hoping and praying that it is our turn next :) Good luck and again...welcome :)

O-BABY - I'm hoping it's just because your HCG levels are extremley low. My one friend didn't know she was pregnant until she was 2.5 months because all of her tests kept coming back negative because her hcg was so low. So my fingers are crossed for you!
Welcome ANGEL!! I find that I've been ovulating later and later on clomid so try not to get discourage yet that you haven't ovulated yet on CD19. I took my clomid (I also have PCOS) on cd3-7 this month and I just took a opk test today and my lines are very similar in color, so I'm taking that as a positive test? But I'm on CD17 and just got a test close to positive and I start my clomid 3 days earlier than you. So becuase you started it later you will most likely ovulate later. Apparently they say that you should ovulate anywhere from 5-10 days after the day of your last clomid pill, so your only 9 days past your last pill so I still have faith it'll work for you! Keep us posted! I was getting really discouraged until this afternoon when I just got my (maybe) positive opk test. It's easy to lose hope sometimes, but then something happens to bring them back up.
I definitely know how much it sucks to have everyone around you have kids or be pregnant. It sucks sometimes, but at the same time I'm so happy they didn't have to go through what my husband and I are going through. I have a feeling we will all get pregnant, just a matter of how and when.

Good morning! Thanks for the welcomes :) Gonna just try being positive... i think alot is getting me down at the mo... bought a new car in Jan that has been giving problems since i got it... so have alot of stress going on and at work.. my temp was a bit up this morning, but I was so tired last night I went to bed early so REALLY hope I didnt miss my ovulation! Guess I'll find out Fri if I ovulated or not. Fingers crossed :) Ran out of OPK's yesterday and I had already bought 8 so I will wait till next month again and start testing later... they are sooo expensive!
I'm really hoping that we have some positive news on the site this week... always gives you so much more hope when you hear a success story :) Suppose its only my first month of trying any sort of treatment so I need a little bit of patience :)

hopefullysoon-
I am definitely going in for a blood pregnancy test tomorrow if my HPT comes back negative again.
Have you taken another OPK test yet? If so was it a more prominent positive? Fingers are crossed and good thoughts your way :)
Angel-
Hoping that you get good news when you go in for your blood test. I also have PCOS and do not ovulate, but for the past two months that I have been on Clomid I have ovulated. I know it is way easier said than done, but....it is so much better for you, the less you stress. I understand that can be extremely difficult though, as we all know.
As for me....I will be taking another HPT later today. If the HPT comes back as negative then I will be heading to the Doc to have a Blood PT done. If that test comes back negative then I will be starting Provera again for the 10 days to start my period. Can't believe that I may have to start Provera again....GRRR! Just so frustrating! I too am looking forward to at least one of us having some real good news sometime SOON! :)
Bring on the BABY DUST!!!!! lol

O-BABY
I have all my fingers and toes crossed for you!!!! I really don’t know how you cope with the provera, I was on it once for 2 weeks in August this year, well I almost killed my boyfriend, I’m sure he wanted to leave me, I was a basket case and emotional wreck, thinking he was cheating on me all the time and crying over EVERYTHING, that’s when I started using natural progesterone cream for 3 months, was not symptomless but definitely much better than the provera ? and since stopping it in November have had my own periods, just very long cycles. After not having a period for many months.
I’ll try and relax, sometimes I think I overdo it, checking so many things a day to determine fertility status... but I cant help it :) Kind of hoping that if I did not ovulate by Fri that my doc will be able to give me a trigger shot if things look ok... that kind of makes timing ovulation so much easier... we are always so busy from work (and work together so see each other so much) that I don’t want to keep trying to time things and make it seem like I want my poor boyfriend only for one thing... having a baby :-p

angel- you brought up some great points! I too obsess over TTC, especially during my 2ww. I am constantly on sites, playing mind-games with myself, and wondering if every little change in my physical health is a sign of pg or an impending AF. Also like you, I seem to only want my husband for one thing- another child- a don't appreciate him as much as I should.
Hopefullysoon- I know you're ovulating today, I do!
O-Baby- I hope you get your bfp at home and don't have to drag yourself into the hospital.
As for me, I will find out by Sunday whether or not my clomid and back-to-back IUI combos. worked. Unfortunately, I don't feel all that optimistic and am ready for disappointment, but you all know that feeling. It's impossible not after all of this disappointment we have had already- I am finding it so hard to be optimistic.

jac1019 - Yes... its soooo hard not to obsess so much, I’ve pretty much already convinced myself I didn’t ovulate this month on clomid and that’s just silly, I should just wait until Friday and see what the doc says... soo hope he doesn’t do another ultrasound though, not looking forward to that part :-s Last appointment he did that and my smeer and I hadn’t even finished AF yet so it was not pleasant! My partner also doesn’t have this HUGE sex drive like some guys so he’s quite happy going without it, unlike me.. so that makes it even harder to do the whole every 2nd day thing... it never happens.
I really hope that one of you (or all of you!!!) get some good news soon... it’s hard to stay positive but I just know we’re going to be getting a BFP from one of you soon, some good news for the weekend :D

i found this poem on babyexpert.com. it made me cry, lol. wanted to share it with you all.......
With every tear that falls, there is a lost heart that calls.
it calls to say I'm here, don't dispair, I will come to you
when the time is right, when you least expect me and through
the quiet night open your heart to me, accept me, I will be there
in the end.
Your wait may be long, you may get frustrated by the whole
ordeal. In the end I will be real. While others around you are
succeeding your heart goes on bleeding.
I would thank you for being patient, I would thank you for
being the kind of person who shows persistance. If it were not
for this, I may never get the chance to have an existence.
In the chaos of your day, the calm of your night, let your heart
soar and take flight.
For so many tears, for so many years. You have been trying,
thinking of giving up but never doing it. In the end you just keep
on going in the hopes that I will come to you, the one who deserves
me, the one who can love me as no other can. You will be that
mother that you always wanted to be. Just you keep waiting for me.

mumstheword-
WOW! I love the poem! It also made me cry, so true and so beautiful....thank you for sharing.
How are you feeling?
Angel-
I didn't have any side effects or symptoms the first time I took Provera. My husband and I after 3 years of trying just try and make it as normal as possible. Not to give out too much unwanted info...lol But my husband and I don't just try that one time a month, we enjoy each others company more than just that small time frame when ovulating. Therefore it doesn't seem like a routine, that is about the worst thing you can do while TTC. It makes it frustrating and after a while doesn't seem as intimate. My opinion anyway. :)
jac1019-
I am hoping that your results come back GREAT! Don't get discouraged, I know that is easier said than done, but I honestly believe that all of us will get our positive PT eventually. Hopefully all of us sooner than later! Good luck to you on Sunday, I hope for positive results for you!!!! :)
Fingers crossed for some great news!!!

Okay so I just wrote a long message then hit reply and it deleted it because I put a link in it so it wouldn't let me post it. . . so here it goes again lol!
O-BABY - I have a really good feeling that you'll get a positive test either from a home test or from the blood test! I'm thinking positive for you :)
MUMSTHEWORD - Thank you so much for that poem! It is so true, thank you for sharing!
ANGEL - I was trying to give you a link for cheap opk tests but it would let me. It's opktests lol now just add the w ww before that and the dot com after that!. On there I pay about $20 (including shipping) for 40 opk test strips and 10 pg tests. It's so worth it becuase it'll last for a few months and gives you enough to test twice a day so you don't miss your LH surge.
As for me I took another opk test last night and it was negative. However I kept my one from earlier in the day yesterday and comparred the two and the one from earlier was definitely positive. So I'm taking yesterday as my positive day and I'm now just waiting for my my temp to rise to comfirm. Also I'm supposed to go for my blood test to confirm that I ovulated on day 22 which turns out to be sunday which of course the labs are closed. My doctor told me I can go on day 21 or day 23 but I'm scarred that if I go on saturday (day 21) that my progesterone won't have risen very much yet but I think it might kill me to wait until Monday. what do you think I should do? Think it will be okay to go on Saturday? If I got my positive test yesterday morning that means I should ovulate by no later than tonight or tomorrow morning. That will give my progesterone enough time to elevate right? Ugghh talk about over thinking things lol, but I can't help it!
