SAL1984- My doctor did not do a ultrasound before my Clomid cycle so I am not sure if the Clomid caused the cyst or just aggravated them.

tai07-I have not taken Provera, but if it is used to start your period, then I think it is OK to spot before hand. Spotting is both a sign of pregnancy and an oncoming period...

Hello ladies! I've read majority of your posts and I'm loving the warm hearted atmosphere. It's so refreshing to find women who share the same journey of getting the biggest wish come true.....a healthy, beautiful baby. My name is Yvette. I'm 41. I have an-almost-20 year old son. I married my soul mate (who God made just for me) a year & a half ago. We've been trying to conceive for about 10 months now. I've had a laparoscopy done this past Jan. just to make sure that my tubes weren't blocked, w/c thank God, they weren't. BUT...doc found some endometriosis & some scar tissue. My DH has been checked & is fine. So it's me. I'm thinking my age plays a huge issue. My cycle is pretty regular, 26-28 days. My doc put me on Clomid on this cycle, day 3-7. I'm on day 4. I'm suppose to go get my progesterone level checked on day 21. So, I'm praying to be a Clomid success story soon. Good luck & lotsa baby dust to all of you! God bless.

Hello ladies! And welcome TTCafter40!
I had my IUI on Saturday, and have been doing the BD every other day since then and before. Lots of cramping earlier in the week, and especially after the BD, which has now subsided to a weird pulling cramp on the right side. Odd, the last time I felt this I was pregnant. I go back and forth about my last pregnancy, since I lost it at 12 weeks and was traumatized after years of TTC. I am thankful that even if I never get pregnant again, I at least got to feel what its like for a few months. ... The pains are definitely like my pregnancy. Could this just be the Clomid or is it possible I can already have signs of pregnancy, not even a week after ovulation? I guess anything is possible.
My side effects from Clomid so far are MOOD SWINGS that make me so tense I clench my fists (god help everyone around me, including the sick coworker that refuses to go home but has no idea how damaging her sickness can be to me), breaking out on my neck (I didnt' have pimples before), and now, just this last couple days, severe bloating. Hey, I'll take it if it means a healthy baby is the gift at the end of years of heartache. I'm on day 22 of my cycle now, praying Clomid is the answer to our prayers. We want a family so badly and I feel like we've been stuck in limbo for years. Fingers crossed! Baby dust to all ~~~~****~~~~~

Hello everyone! Omg I hate how the side effects of clomid are so similar to pregnancy! This was my 2nd month on clomid but I wasn't able to get a ultrasound because I was out of town at the time so I have no idea if I ovulated or not because I didn't get checked for follicles. The first month I had one so who knows. I just hope this all works out in the end. I now have HUGE pimples and I didn't before and my moods are terrible but what I notice the most besides the unbearable acne is my breasts get really painful including nipples. Almost so bad I can't even touch them. Do the side effects last the whole month or just mainly while actually taking the pill? With only have one tube I'm constantly stressed as to whether this will work. I got pregnant very easily the first time but my body got so screwed up. Good luck to each one of you!

Oh I also seem to be hungry all the time...not sure if that's related to the clomid or not...

NickiG - October 26

Thats funny mtaylor because I'm completely the opposite. My boobs always hurt around OV, but now they don't with Clomid, and I can't eat anything because everything smells and has weird texture to me. Normally I LOVE to eat. And chicken, forget it, its like eating rubber to me right now. So odd how our bodies all react differently!
My Dr. didn't do the US with me this 1st time. Praying it doesn't go to a second time but if it does, I will definitely do the US. I just did the OV kit.
Good luck!

Hello ladies, I am 22 years old almost 23, my dh and I have been ttc for almost four years now. It sucks really bad not alone that all the girls around me are getting pregnant in my work place I am a tech in a pharmacy and that place is small we call it our cage lol anyways were always so close to each other it makes me go more crazy. It hurts seeing these girls get pregnant with no problem. Anyways sorry I feel like such a b**** when I get mad about theses girls and I have no one to talk about it. My Dr finally put me on clomid 50 mg on days 5-12 so for seven days I started on October 13th. Well I'm supposed to have my period here pretty soon on the 8th. I have been really nauses and my breast are extreamly sensetive. What do you all think? I hope its a BFP. Sending baby dust to all. PS what do you thi k my chances are for my first try that I am pregnant?
