Hi ladies! Well I just got home and for the heck of it I decided to take my temp. Usually its around 98.3 for day time after af starts. It was 99.5!!! I usually spot two days before af, and I am spotting today and af should arrive on Saturday, so I don't have high hopes that my temp will go back up, but you never know. Like you say Beth, you have to believe it will happen. I've been ttc for a little over a year now, but I've got to believe my day will come! I'm so glad I found you guys!!! -kelly

So I decided to check my temp this (I haven't for 2 or so days) and it dropped to 98...Although it's a bit early to be dropping so I don't know what's going on with that this month. Usually my BBT drops the day AF arrives. I'm not expecting her until Tuesday or Wednesday. I'm beginning to think I didn't ovulate this cycle. I so wish I knew more about all of this stuff. I had an U/S on Aug 1st which showed a follicle of 24mm but how does the doctor know it's a follicle ready to ovulated vs a cyst that might be growing? With PCOS one of my biggest symptoms (besides the lack of AF) was my acne which was GREAT on clomid all the way until the end of AF. They said this was normal because the clomid was adding back some of the hormones I was lacking. Now on Femara, which should do the same thing, my acne is back to being just as bad. I just don't get it. I guess I just have to wait it out until Tuesday to test. I'm working all weekend (uggh) but at least the time will go by faster. Baby Dust to all of us!

Hi Beth and KellyN! Beth, I struggle with acne also but have noticed a major improvement since I have started my meds for High Prolactin. I never put the two together until I read your thread! After a talk with DH we both have decided it would be best for me to stop charting BBT. It would always change my mood for the day and I am tired of being SO involved in my body and feel like if I would take a step back, I would be healthier mentally about all this. We will see if it helps. I can't wait to go to yoga again and stretch out! I think AF is due in the next 2 or 3 days ugh. We will see if she decides to skip this visit! My DH has been so great about all of this, I can't thank him enough for all the support he has given me. He just loves it being the two of us and tries to get me to focus on that, and not focusing on what we don't have. Maybe that is the key? I am just giving it all up this month and am trusting in him. He is very wise for the ripe old age of 26. And I am only 24 so if we had to wait a while longer, that's fine. I am just glad we are together! cheese!!

Hi guys! I noticed some spotting last night and a tiny bit this morning but no AF. I usually start AF on day 30 and today is day 29. I don't usually get spotting so that was kinda weird. It's probably nothing though. I will know for sure tomorrow. talk to you soon!

Hello Kellie and KellyN the wait is almost over for me how about you two anything change recently? I gave into the urge to do a HPT and it was positive...but it might be too soon from the HCG injection it's only been 12 days though last month by day 11 it was negative but like I said I'm not thinking it's true. I'm sure it's just hanging around my body longer this month than last month.
Kellie I'm right there with you about BBT I'm tired of doing it, I feel so INSANE some mornings trying to take it at just the right time.
KellyN hope things are going well for you as well. I'll keep you all posted when I repeat the test on Tuesday!

BFN this morning I'm really not suprised or even that disappointed this month. Guess I'm getting use to it. My DH and I agreed to 1 more cycle whatever the outcome. Well off to work again.....Hope the weekend has gone well for both of you

Hi ladies!! Well af finally started today. I was expecting it yesterday, so i still had some hope, and I kept taking hpts and convincing myself there was a faint line somewhere on them. Oh well! My cm was pretty dry after taking the clomid. This month I will do the IUI, like my dr is recommending. Hope I can get dh to come home to give a sample this month. Do they have to do that every time they do IUI, or can they freeze sperm to save it for next time?? Beth, it ain't over till its over, so I'm keeping the faith for you!! Lots of women get bfn's until several days after they are late, so don't let one bfn get you down! Kellie, I too understand about temping! These days I find myself taking my temps several times in the evening as well as in the morning, just to check. It is getting to be a really crazy obsession!! Well, on to another month of clomid, avandia, IUI, hcg, and prometrium. Hoping for a BFP in September!! Kellie, have you tested yet?? Or did af come?? -kelly

KellyN I'm not sure about the freezing of sperm, I know they can do it but I'm not sure how long they freeze it for normally. We've been doing fresh each time since my DH is always in town. I know that once the sperm is frozen it doesn't survive as long once unfrozen (6hrs) compared to a few days. But if your DH isn't home than it's something to think about for sure. I'm trying to hold out hope I feel lousy today no cramping just BLOATED and sick to my stomach. I think I'm just over tired from lack of sleep last night and working all weekend. I end up doing 10 days in a row before I get a day off. Sorry about AF coming but at least you know you ovulated and it's GOING to work soon for all of us.

Hi guys, well I have been spotting for 4 days which is unusual for me but I took a pg test yesterday and I got a BFN. My temp was 96.5 today so I know AF is on her way today. So frustrating!!!!!! Oh well. I found a show on tv every morning that is 15 min of Yoga so I am going to start doing it everyday and not charting. My DH was upset that I did this morning, but I told him I just wanted to see if AF was coming. So he forgave me one last time but said NO MORE! Hahaha, he's so sweet. He just can't stand what it does to me. I don't want to go back to my doc just yet, I want to give this a try naturally w/o drugs. The only thing that worries me is that his sperm count is half of what it should be which is why it make take us longer than usual. He's been taking tons of vitamins and things so we will see. well, it's on to next month girls! At least we all are in this together!

OH MY GOD I"M PREGNANT!!!! I did a HPT this morning just for the heck of it and bam 2 lines BFP! I called my best friends mom who's a nurse at the office I go to and she had me come in for a second urine test at BFP there too! I still can't believe it. I went for the blood work and I'm waiting on the HCG level. I got an initial positive result but the actual level will be in tomorrow morning. I really can't believe it still. I'm just holding my breath until I can actually see a heart beat and the levels going up then I'll believe it.

OMG!!!!!!!!!! Congradulations Beth!!!! That is excellent news!!! You deserve it girl, so savor this moment. For me I had my gyno visit today. The doc says he want to do IUI this month, and it is scheduled for next week. Reading your story on this thread has given me a lot more confidence that some day I too will get pg! Now I just need to figure out exactly what you did this month, so I can mimic it -ha! Doc starts me on clomid tomorrow cd 3-7. Kellie, taking a month away from the meds sounds like a fine idea. They say that just when you quit trying that's when it happens. -kelly

Hello! Well I started clomid today, so Kelly the B**** will be here soon. I so hate to let her out! Hopefully I won't get so many hot flashes this time. Last month I was getting them every 10-20 minutes or so. My nurse said that the hot flashes only happen the first two months of clomid, so I'm hoping they won't be as bad at least. Hope everyone else is well. Feeling kind of sad having to start all over again. Plus dh is back out of town! :o( -kelly

Hello thanks for the well wishes! My HCG level came back at 39, definatly pregnant I'm just praying that it doubles tomorrow. I'm really nervous because of the m/c I had last time but I'm praying really hard and trying to realize that everything happens for a reason. I'll know on Thursday AM if the levels are good so I'll keep you posted.
KellyN I'm sorta confused have you gotten AF? What cycle days are you using clomid? I did 5-9 when I was on clomid. Here's what I did different this cycle. I told NO ONE except my DH of course, my co workers (who noticed when I had to leave work), and my best friends mom who's a nurse that we were doing another cycle. I was so tired of everyone asking how I was feeling. I also walked a lot and ate a lot of pineapple. My friends fertility specialist recommended it when she was doing IVF other than that I just tried to stay calm.
I am just hoping that the levels double when I see that I'll feel better. Till then I'm a nervous reck....

Hi Beth! Yes, af started on Sunday. This is cd 3 for me. My doc started me on clomid earlier this time cd 3-7. I've heard that pinapple is really good for fertility. Do you know what it is supposed to do? I'm sure everything will be fine. You should take it easy and treat yourself to nice relaxing things this week. When I get all tense un-relaxed, my dh takes me out for ice cream. Mmmm, sure wish dh were home now, I could use some ice cream! Stay positive Beth! -kelly

Hi Beth and KellyN, I read that pineapple is good for making the egg stick. It either makes your lining thicker or more susceptible to implantation. When I took clomid, I took it days 3-7 also, my doc said those days were the best proven days for it. Didn't work for me the only time I took it though...and I probably won't take again because it gave me painful cysts. Anyways I am still on AF so it's going to be a while before anything is happening with me! Hope you both are happy and well. Talk to you soon.
