Hi jasmin! Clomid is a medication that helps you ovulate. It tricks your brain into believing it hasnt o'd, so your body compensates by o'ing. You should only take it under the supervision of a doc cause it can cause ovarian cysts. I found it is working for me....no baby this month, but I definatly o'd and my period came almost on time this month. (I never have a regular period.) Hope this helped! Oh, by the way, how long have you been ttc?

This is my 2nd month of Clomid, and we've been ttc for a year. I'm learning not to get my hopes up like this is the magic pill that is going to make it all work cuz it is so depressing when it doesn't. if you have really irregular periods, chart EVERYTHING and take that to your next dr. appt.

I know, I thought Clomid would be the "magic pill" too. The way my doc was talking I thought I would be pg the next month too. My dh said hey, by this time next month we could be here for a pre-natal. But I also have to say that I actually got a period this month. I usually go two to three months without. I'm hoping the second round is the winner, as I have heard many women say second round did it for them. It is VERY frusterating, but don't give up hope ladies.... This could be our month!!
