hi BabyO, well if you have irregular cycle it would be a bit difficult to know if you are pregnant or not....usually how many days is your cycle? what do you mean irregular, there are months that you don't have your period or it's just a very long cycle, i think maybe you should try using th hpt again maybe after a week or two for you to be able to see the real result, because sometimes when you take the test too early it would just give you a negative result.

Hello BabyO, Well, first of all WELCOME !!!! You will find this site very helpful. I have been TTC for about 9 month, but on and off because I was very ill. I also have irregular bleedings and I am taking ovulex-herbs to regulate and help to get preggo. I am also hoping that I am preggo this month, but dont know yet for sure.... Lets keep in touch. Thank you so much for your response Nancy. Yeah, what I mean by irregular is there are times I don't get my period for two to three months and then I get it. There are times I will get it two or three months right around the same day every month and then it will stop and I will not get it for another couple of months. Very crazy. I am now almost one months and four days late. I took a test this morning and it came back negative. I use the very little small test strips. Do you think I should try the test sticks?

Cutie- thank you so much for your warm welcome. It feel so good to have someone to talk to that knows what I am going through. Do you need a prescription for ovulex? I wanted to start Clomid but I was told you have to get a lot of test done and sadly I can't afford that. I would be willing to try anything that would help me conceive. since your period is irregular as what you told me, i guess should be patient and wait for a couple of weeks, if you can't afford to go to the doctor for test, maybe waiting for a couple of weeks will give you the real result. You should try not to drink any medicine or do any activity coz u might be pregnant, start eating fruits and vegetables and drink a lot of fruit juice coz u'll never know u might be pregnant coz you're feeling pregnancy symptoms. Just relax and wait for a couple of weeks and try testing again, so you will not waste a lot of money for pregnancy test.

Hi BabyO. You should try to get checked. I know Planned Parenthood and some low cost clinics will provide you with blood work for either free or cheap. I know it's really none of my business, but if your hubby's job offers insurance you should try to get on it. Expecially if you do get pg. The doctors bills can really add up. Also, it would be nice to have just incase an emergancy came up with delivery. Anyhow, I was going to mention that you may have something more going on such as cysts. Do you have any pain in your ovary area (doesn't have to be around af). Also insulin intollerance can make you skip periods. But, if you are missing then having, metformin can regulate your cycles then if you're not ovulating is when you would need something like clomid. It helps you o not af. Welcome to the website, I've found it a life saver.

Thank you Melissa I really appreciate your information. I was going to try to get on my husband insurance but it is over $400.00 a month and we can't afford it. But I am looking into other insurance at this moment and my husband said he will work overtime if necessary to get it for me so Gods willing I will have insurance soon. Thank you for welcoming me. I know I have other things to consider other than trying to have a baby. I have been trying for almost two years and sometimes I feel like it will never happen. WOW!!! $400/MONTH?! That is crazy! Holy cow. I know there are clinics that can help also. You'll just have to search online and in your local phone book to find one that supports your needs. Good luck.

Melissa- I know that is what I said. He pays $12 for himself but to add me it is over $400.00. That is crazy!!! My husband said, "If you don't get it I won't get it." I told him not be be silly, it would be very dumb for him not to get it. His insurance includes dental and vision also. And he only pays a 10 dollar co pay. Yeah I will keep searching. Wish me luck. So what is your story? Also, I apologize if I don't answer right away. I use the internet at work and two days out of the week I am at school.

So I came home from school yesterday and my husband had a friend room work over along with his wife. They were really nice people. His friend kept staring at me and i didn't understand why. His wife is 8 months pregnant and she looks so cute and she is so so nice. Well, his friend who is indian finally told me that he is sorry that he is staring at me but he is in some level from his tribe and he said I said good spirits around me. He also asked me if I was pregnant and I told him I didn't know but I was suspecting. He then said that he thinks I am and if not i will be within four months and that he sees twins. I was exited. His wife said that he is never wrong and that he has predicted about 20 conceptions and he can guess what they are having. He guessed his own wife's pregnancy two months before and said it was going to be a girl and it was. He said I am having twin girls. I really hope it is true. His wife was really exited and told me if I needed anything to let her know and that she would go to the doctor with me. Cross your fingers and pray for me. Throw some babydust my way girls. I will keep to updated.

wow....that is awesome....i'm also excited for you BabyO, just wait, relax and hopefully you'll have 2 babies in one pregnancy...sounds so cool. keep us posted...

BabyO, I don't know where you live but I am sure there are health clinics that you can go to and see a doc or a nurse free of charge. You should be able to get care there! Good luck.
