I had an HSG on 3/31. I am now 15 days past due and have taken 3 urine test, all negative and this morning had a blood test done (keeping my fingers crossed). It is a long wait. I have had nausea, lightheadedness, bloating and constipation. I have also been TTC for 3+ years. I am hopeful that this is it but at the same time trying to keep my expectations at bay!

I had my last period on April 4 and the HSG on April 19th and my cycles are usually between 33-40 days apart (I was very irregular). My first positive pregnancy test was yesterday morning, May 2nd. So...I had to have gotten pregnant immediately after the HSG. I was confirmed pregnant by my family doctor today and am now awaiting the results of the blood pregnancy panel. Good luck to all of you. If you have any more questions, I will be so glad to answer them!

Hello everyone!!! After 16 months of trying my doctor sent me to fertility specialist. On March 8, I had HSG. It was very uncomfortable. Right after that test, I got pregnat. My ovulation was supposed to be between march 12 and 14th. However, I miscarried on April 10th. I'm still in shock. I'm going back to fertility doctor this week. During HSG test, the doctor said that the tubes didn't look blocked because she saw the solution going through. Sometimes tubes may get clocked with mucus and HSG restores the fertility. Hopefully, I'm still fertile and I'm hoping to get pregnant soon.

I took back the results for any vaginal, cervix and other infection and all cam back very good. So when my periods are done I will have to do some blood tests before I go for HCG. If tests are ok I will have to do HCG in a week. I hope it will be ok.

Sorry girls, I always write HCG instead of HSG :o)

So sorry to hear about your miscarriage, Zi. I am praying that I don't miscarry...I just worry because it's taken so long to get pregnant. I am sure that you will get pregnant again soon...think positive...hey, at least you know now that you CAN get pregnant!

Thanks Babs. I'm praying for you. I'm sure you'll be OK. I m/c exactly at 6 weeks. My doctor told me that probably was a cromosome problem, but who knows. I'm 27 yrs old and I've been going to the doctor for last 6 months. They still don't know what's wrong with me. (unexplained infertility) Also, my husbands sperm is fine too. I will keep you posted with my status. Please do the same thing. All the best.

Babs do you have any other children, and if you dont mind my asking how old are you?

Sorry am asking a question as well. I just had an HSG done last Saturday 30th April, 2005 and collected the result which stated that both of my tubes are patent with peritoneal spillage of a maximum medium and my husband is yet to do his test which he will do on saturday and i ovulated on tuesday, will be going to have d blood test done next week thursday is there any chance of my getting pregnant?

Babs - May 5

To answer Celia, no, I do not have any other children...this is my very first pregnancy. I am 27...I will be 28 in July. I am currently awaiting the results of my first obstetric blood panel (Pregnancy Panel)...that will make sure that my RH factor is compatible with the baby's, etc. I go from being very excited that I am finally pregnant to worrying that I could lose the baby or something else will go wrong...I am feeling a bit overwhelmed...but I guess that's completely normal even though I had thought about all of this for years...it's just so weird that I am finally pregnant. Good luck to everyone. If you have any other questions, please ask!

Okay, all...I have just had a scare. My gyno just called and told me that my progesterone levels are "borderline" and that they want me to start on progesterone suppositories tonight before bed. When I asked if this meant that I may miscarry, I felt they were vague. I will have my levels rechecked on Monday morning. Do any of you know anyone else who this has happened to or what this means in terms of pregnancy? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please keep me in your prayers. Thanks so much.

Hey Babs, I'm 27 too and I will 28 in july too. Just stay postive, everything will be OK. I know how much it means to you. All of my friends are pregnant or they had a baby last year. My husband and I started trying before all of them. When I found out that I was pregnant, we bought the house right away. Today we're moving in, but we are not as happy we were because of m/c. Anyway, be postive and it will be OK.

katesylver, I'm not understading the part about your tubes? Does that mean that they are open? I know a lot of people that got pregnant after HSG and also most of them had healthy pregnancy. M/c is just a bad luck.
