how soon can i do a preg test after an IUI

i just had my IUI a week ago. My OB asked me to have the preg test 2 1/2 weeks after. But i'm having some cramps now. Can i do it now or earlier than 2 weeks?? i am so paranoid.

you can do it earlier but id try and wait if i were you so you def get a neg. cramps are quite normal so dont worry just try and relax!
