Wishing- I am going through my first 2ww. I had IUI on Friday. Since then I have had lower back pain, I've been tired and increasingly hungry (especially at night). I've read that if you took the trigger shot it can make you tired and increase your appetite and also of you're taking prometrium it can cause bone aches. I took the trigger shot and am on prometrium so I myself am driving myself nuts on whether these are good signs or just side effects of the medication. I pray for us both that these are just good signs of positive things to come!!! When does your 2ww end mine isn't over until the 30th!!
Prayers and baby dust:)

Nikki - are you doing IUI this cycle or natural?
Good luck to all of you ladies in your 2ww. I KNOW it can be grueling, especially after actually having had a procedure. I started bleeding on last Thursday and my doctor said that because it was so early and my beta never rose very high she thought it would be okay for us to go again. I go in today to get my beta checked and my baseline ultrasound. The morning of my last IUI I woke up with ovulation pains and felt really good that our timing was perfect. I'm super worried now, that the timing just won't be as good. But you hear so much about people getting pregnant again after miscarriages. I'm praying that's me. Good luck ladies. Keep us posted.

I hear you. I wouldn't wish this journey on ANYONE. But I pray that WHEN we come out of the other side, we'll be much stronger for it. It's funny I have friends who have like 4/5 kids and have no idea what's actually happening. But since I've been on this roller coaster I know every little single step!

Well today is 16dp iui and the ugly witch (AF) showed her face today :( I have an appt on Friday to see if we want to continue with Femara 7.5mg and and IUI. It is so dissapointing because my husbands sperm was 168 million and 94% motility! We did an HCG trigger and everything so it was perfect timing and yet my body still refused to do what it was supposed to! Grr... I know you ladies know exactly what I am talking about. Hopefully everyone else in the 2ww will have better luck this month!

lfisher2 - I am sooooo sorry to hear that AF showed. That definitely sucks. This whole process is so difficult, the not knowing, the disappointments, the expense!!! I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I hope you're surrounded by some great support and when you feel up to it go have you a margarita!!! How many IUI cycles have you done? Did the femara work or will your next step be just a change in meds?

JChristine- Thank you! Thankfully, I am supported by some great people. I am bummed, but not completely devastated because God blessed me with a daughter in Dec. of 2010. So I keep the faith and try to stay optimistic because I know IUI's worked once so that gives me ALOT of hope! And seeing her face every morning makes it all worth it in the end. I go back to the dr. on Friday to see what he thinks. Clomid doesnt work well for me and now femara isn't working the greatest so I don't even know what other meds would be out there? Since my last pregnancy my PCOS has taken a turn for the worse and my body just doesn't want to cooperate with meds for some reason. All together I have done 3 IUI's. IUI #1 failed, IUI #2 Success, IUI #3 failed.

I just plan to go to IVF in the fall if nothing don't happen between now and october, not gone keep spending money on a procedure that i think not going to work.

I haven't posted in a while, but I have been reading everyone's posts. It keeps me going and I hope we are all able to become pregnant soon. My husband and I were scheduled to have our RE consultation on Valentine's Day, but I had to cancel the appointment because we got different insurance in order to cover some of the costs. Now we are going through all this extra testing before we can even be referred to the Infertility Clinic. I have found this extremely frustrating because every time I think we are getting closer, I find out another test has to be done. I was wondering if anyone would should share their personal experiences with testing, etc. prior to being able to start IUI rounds? Thank you :)

Hi my name is Jessica and i've read several of your post and see strong women. How incredible you all are to keep going and keep the faith. I just had my first iui with no positive outcome. I didn't think it was going to be this hard. You try to prepare yourself but nothing prepares you for the response you don't want to hear. All we can do is pull forward and leave it in God's hands. Many blessing to you all!!
