IUI went good this morning. My husbands count was awesome, at 124 million. It was half that last month! Now the two week wait begins. Baby dust to all!

lizbee-it went well, thanks for asking. The RE said the count was good (didn't say what it was and in the craziness I forgot to ask). These 2 weeks are really tough, I'm happy to know we're going through this "together" :)

Hope everyone is enjoying their holiday this week! I am actually very happy it is the holiday season because I have been so busy shopping and prepping for Thanksgiving that this 2WW is going by quickly with little thought to the what if's. Which is good because when I have nothing to do, I tend to get obsessive!

rpb- how are you doing during your 2WW? when do you go back to the Dr's? We go back on December 2nd.

lizbee-the 2ww is so tough. We're trying not to think about it and the holidays are helping. We take a test on the 1st...thinking positively and trying to laugh a lot! Praying for you!

Well now that the holiday is over I am beginning to over-analyze every twinge I feel. The last few days of the 2ww are always the worst for me. This time around I have not purchased any pregnancy tests and don't plan on it! I will just wait to see what the beta test says on Thursday.

lizbee-I think not buying tests is a smart idea! Our Thanksgiving weekend was tough and to top it off, AF came to visit. I was five days early and really sad. Going to the RE tomorrow morning to see what's up. Hoping and praying for great news for you. Only a few days left! :)

rpb- AWW man! I am so sorry to hear that. That is the absolute worst. Before we started with the RE one time I was 3 days late, took a test, only to find AF was here after POAS. I am praying for you!

We are at 11DPO so just a few more days to go. Getting anxious! Crampy but that is normal with progesterone suppositories so who knows whats going on in there. I am not a fan of the progesterone because 1. they mimic early pregnancy signs, and 2. they withold AF from coming so we can't get excited if I am "late"! I try to think God is teaching us patience through all of this.

Update: Just found out I'm carrying a beautiful baby girl, it was so wonderful to see her so clearly and moving her long legs and her beautiful little hands, it was just precious.

Well I can officially go off the progesterone and await the dreaded AF. Blood test revealed a BFN today. : (

This whole process is becoming more and more frustrating.

lizbee-Thanks so much for the positive words and continued prayers. I'm so sorry to hear your news. Was really hoping for good news. It is very frustrating and tough, but keep your head up. We're praying for you as well.

Had a death in the family and a pretty emotional 10 days or so, but started round 3 of the clomid cycle. Crossing our fingers.

AF is here... starting round 3 of clomid on wednesday.
This weekend was frustrating. I am trying to remain hopeful IUI will work but my husband is becoming more and more frustrated and stressed. I know he must feel bad because it is "his issue" as to why we are going through all of this to begin with but like a typical man, any emotion whether it be saddness or stress he shows as anger which has put him in a perpetual bad mood. Anytime there is a slight argument I fear God is watching us and thinking why would I bless them with a baby? My husband says God knows whats in our hearts and will forgive us for arguing.
Here's to praying this round is a success! It is the season of miracles afterall!

rpb- so sorry to hear about your loss. Round 3 of clomid for both of us! How many times are you going to do IUI before moving onto something else?

well here's my update, it has been 3 weeks today that we did IUI #3, AF still hasnt come yet but last thursday we did beta HCG and it was negative and all home tests have been negative. :( still not sure why AF hasnt come cause that never happens for me, I am always on time. I guess I will call RE office today and see what they say. We are either going to move to IVF or try donor sperm. our insurance doesnt cover anything and IVF is at least 10k so not sure what we are going to go forward with. Good luck to everyone else!

Hello everyone! I'm new to this forum and I will be going through my first iui this cycle. I'm currently on cycle day 6 and the 2nd day of clomid. I'm really nervous and hope it will work the first time, because we don't have too much money to spend on this. We have been trying for almost 2 yrs naturally and no pregnancy. Both my results and DH's results were great so we're diagnosed with unexplained infertility. Good luck to everyone and I hope this our month to finally get our bfp. I will be praying for all you wonderful ladies and please keep me in your prayers.
