Hey everyone, I'm am 32 and new to the site but like everyone else TTC. I had my first IUI on Wednesday. This was following provera, chlomid for 5 days (50mg, days 3-7) and the ovidrel trigger shot on Tuesday before the IUI. I had 2 follicles (16 & 20) the day before my IUI, but I expect they grew slightly after another day. I was inspired to write after reading some of the posts on here and I am hoping for a positive result. I am trying to keep myself busy during this 2ww, but I know it's going to be hard to focus on anything else. I go back next Wednesday for blood work to be sure that I did indeed ovulate and the following Wednesday for the test.

Following the IUI I had really bad cramps, but they have finally subsided. I wish everyone on here the best of luck and I am hopeful that there will be more success stories for everyone!!!

So got my labs back and my FSH levels are a 14! Wow... hope you all get that checked because that test made me realize that I need to take a month off and see what happens next month..anything 10 below is a good reading. Do any of you guys have the same issues w/ FSH because I am trying to research what I can online but some forums the women say you can still get pregnant w/ High FSH. Feeling a little lost but hope that next month is good! Babydust to all of you!!!!!

Hi Tryingtoconceive10. Welcome to the forum. The 2ww may drive you crazy so stay online and we will help each other through it. I see that you were on provera. I used it too to bring on my bleeding as it wasn't happening naturally. I also tried Clomid but it did not work for me so I eventually tried Tamoxifen.

I have been reading up on the implantation process and they mention that you should experience bleeding (slight) between 6 and 12 days, I am at day 9 and no sign of bleeding. I know they say that some may not so I am hoping I am one of those.

Hello CAI, thank you for the welcome. Since I was a young girl, I never got a normal period. When I was 17, I was rushed to the hospital as I was hemorrhaging. It was pretty serious, but they were able to get it under control after a few days in the hospital. Since then, I was put on the birth control pill to be sure I got my period. I went off of it here and there on my own in my 20's and never got a period. When I was 27, I was diagnosed with PCOS. I knew that when my husband and I wanted to try to conceive, there were going to be issues...since I don't get my period on my own and only through the use of provera when I am off the pill. My fertility doctor thinks I have a mild case of PCOS, just enough to throw everything off(more testosterone). Since visiting the fertility doctor, I had a Sonohystogram, Hysterosalpingogram, Hysteroscopy, fasting blood sugar test and semen analysis for my husband. All of the tests came back ok. I am really hopeful that this works. I am trying not to think about it to much; however my husband is confident that I am pregnant. I hope I am as I know how excited he is and my insurance only covers one more IUI and then I am on my own…I am on day 5 now and did have some cramping all day yesterday as well as some nipple soreness. My face is also breaking out…The nurse said this is normal. I also read about implantation bleeding and will be looking out for that this week. I am wondering if anyone on here has had implantation bleeding? Will you be taking your test this week? I will keep my fingers crossed for you. Babydust to all of you!!!!

Hi Tryingtoconceive10. Thanks for the badydust. I really need it. After being on the pill for more than 10 years, I realised that I was not having a period so hence the reason for the provera. You are fortunate that your insurance is covering the IUI as mine is not. My test is due on Friday Feb 5 and I can't wait; I think I will test on Thursday night :) Thanks for the website, I will take a look.

SJP - February 1

tryingtoconceive10- hi I went through alot of the same things you I was on provera for 10 years, did the clomid, had 2follies, and the trigger shot the day before. My iui worked the first time! I actually go for and ultrasound on the 8th to see how many babies! My nipples were very sore as well and that was abnormal for me. Good luck and let us know.

CAI - February 1

Hi Harrisongoodall. Glad to see you back online and that you are feeling better. Yes, I am nervous and I am now so aware of my body that every little thing that happens I am researching on the Net :) Hang in there, it's almost Friday.

CAI - February 1

Hi SJP, I am hoping that some of your luck rubs off on me as I only had one follicle. Looking forward to your posting on Feb 8 to let you know how many babies.
