Hi Harrisongoodall, I am actually from Barbados and was trying for one year. Then I went to the specialist as I am 39 years old and did not want to waste any more time. My follicle was only 17mm and after the sperm washing there were only 11 million sperm left to insert. They say that my chances are still good and I am keeping the faith. The strangest thing happened today where I am sure I passed air from my vagina. Has this happen to anyone else?

On Feb 5 they told me to do a home pregnancy test but the wait is driving me crazy although it has only been three days. They also said that until then to take it easy, no heavy lifting, no gym so my husband cleaned the house yesterday :)

QUESTION TO ALL ;; i had my iui friday, and as the days go on i start to go in to a really low mood, is this normal?? i should be happy and excited instead i have got a upset tummy, feel sick and drained has any one else felt this before?? x

Harrisongoodall. Babydust to you as well. Let's keep each other updated. I don't know that the others will say but sounds like stress to me. Take it easy, keep busy and I trust that the time (2ww) will pass fast for both of us.

Hello ladies, I am new to this forum and loving this support group. like a lot of you all, I had my first iui on 1/11 and 1/12 along with the trigger shot on the first. Re also had me on follistim for 8 days.With 2 mature follicles and re teling me what a great cycle i had i was very hopeful at first but when i went for my ultra sound and blood test on 1/22 started to lose hope. Longest 2 hrs of my life having to wait for that phone call which dont know what to make of it. Re only said to come back on 1/26 for a retest cuz its too soon so i am assuming it was negative :-( I am still in the 2ww and that the 2 things that is keeping me positive along with the grace of God. DH has been very supportive and love him for that we even bought a test today which was very disappointing. tomorrow makes it 14dpiui.... any advice ladies?.....And BABY DUST to you all!!!

CAI; hi there how you doing? days are going slow arnt they?? well i have just come back from docs and i have got flu!! contacted hospital as i paniced thinking could this effect my chance...apparo its nothing to worry about and wont effect my chances just aslong as i keep my body temp nice and cool are you having cyclogest or any thing simular?

olgakay0518, that is so awesome that you could hear your babies hearts beat already. AF came on Saturday. I went to talk to my doctor and she recommend me doing the Fluoroscopic Tubal Cannulation procedure. I'm hoping to get that procedure done this Friday and start trying again next month. She also wants to start me on a stronger medication (injections) plus iui. The chance of having twins with the medication is 20%. That would be so cool :-) Hopefully, after the procedure I will have both of my tubes. Has anyone had this procedure done before? or know anyone who has?

harrisongoodall, thank you for input. its so frustrating b/c you really cant tell if ur body is going through pregnacy changes or its due to the medications i go in tomorrow so vey excited and nervous at the same time. I pray everything goes well for u and rest of the ladies also...lots of lots of baby dust!!!!!!

Well I got what I think is AF today. I called my RE and my nurse said that a woman typically does not get her period this early, so it might be implantation bleeding. She says implantation can occur between days 6-12 and this is day 10, but all of these symptoms I am having along with the bleeding are my normal AF symptoms. The bleeding is dark brown and now turning light pink. I am still sure that it is AF. If it turns out to be BFP I will be shocked...laying on the ground! My preg. test is on Thurs. (Jan. 28th). If I am not pregnant, we will start 2nd cycle. Has anyone had what I am having and turned out to be preggo? Any info would be great :-) Thanks!

Hi Harrisongoodall. I am sorry to hear that you have the flu. I trust that you will get over it soon. No, I am not taking anything like Cyclogest; actually I am not doing anything out of the norm. I take my vitamins and folic acid on mornings. Most people take the 4mg of folic acid but for some reason my doc gave me 5mg.... not quite certain why.

CAI; i am having them as it help the egg nest and thickens linin in womb! i think!! even though she said my linin was fine,! did they say yours was unexplained fretility?

AdoptedByLight ; i am with my friend and she says tht her symptoms were very early, she never had iui, but when she was due for her period she had what she calls a icki brown bleed,she says it was more like a large amount of discharge and was there just a couple of times a day, it wasnt like a full period!! i no every one is different but just thought id let you no, aww all the luck to you aswell..not long now 4 u 4 testing... x
