Oops - SJP...I forgot to say CONGRATS!! First time IUI! I hope some of that rubs off on me :-D

Hello everyone. I am new to this forum,but was in need of some support while going through this process. My husband and I have been trying to get pregant for a while with no success. Today we had our first IUI an I just don't know what to think. My mind is going hay wires. I did get a HCG shot prior. We are now enduring the 2ww. Its only been one day and I am wreck. Also, what a some good signs from the IUI? When will I start noticing possible pregancy systoms? Please help me guys. Good look to all.

aat83- I didn't really feel anything different except my breasts hurt really bad. Normally right before my period they hurt but this time is was my nipples and that started about a week after the iui so good luck

harrisongoodall- I didn't feel like I was going to get my period, but maybe what your feeling is good. The only thing I really felt was a little bit of lower abdominal pressure and I kind of felt bloated. My fingers are crossed for you.

Hey all my doctor just called with the results of my second blood test. Everything looks good I go in for my first ultrasound on Feb 8 probably to see how many heart beats. I'm so excited!

aat83: Just try to relax and think good positive thoughts... the 2ww seems like forever but just try to keep yourself occupied so that you are not thinking about it all the time. I hope this works for you and your husband! I am on my 2nd IUI and take my test tomorrow.. so I hope we are blessed with the best news of my life.. I have been trying to have kids for awhile now.. again, good luck to ya... sending some babydust your way!!

Congrats SJP!! I was hoping for the same result as you, but AF showed up yesterday. I was 4 days late but all preg tests were neg. I still was hoping. This is the worst feeling, I'm so glad for you gals here. I know you all have felt this way. Stay with us here SJP and keep us motivated!!!! I feel like giving up. I don't want to think about this anymore. Baby dust to all!! xoxoxo

at SJP congrats. I am so happy for you and thank you so much for the advice.babysprinkles3 I hope you get good news after your test. I pray that everyone on this forum gets their wish and become pregant. Everyone we the faith because we al will be mother. Baby dust to all. Stay encouraged.

I don't know y'all, but I'm just not feeling it :-( I have my pregnancy test on Jan. 28 and I just don't feel like my odds are good. One 15.5mm follicle and timed intercourse? I think it's gonna take a miracle :-/

On Wednesday I heard my babies hearts beat, it was very cool. But to anyone who might have twins, be prepared to get sick a lot ealier and a lot worse than normal (single pregnancy)

insemination was yest and im feeling bit sore to be honest, let the waiting game beggin!!! i looked on another site which was to se if just one follicle first time iui had worked for any one!! quite a few had but also quite a few hadn't..i started to ovulate by my self as shown on bloods, so had final injection, follicle was 18mm, so lets wait and see. it would be great this time..but still looking forward to next tim...x

Hi to all. I too am new to this forum. I was inspired to write after reading the blogs by Olgakay0518. I had my first iui yesterday and have to endure the 2ww.
the procedure was not painful. I had a scan on Jan 20, saw one follicle, had injection on Jan 21 then iui on Jan 22. Congrats to Olgakay0518 and SJP.

CAI; hi there looks like were running it the same..which hospital u at? hope all goes well for you, how big was your follicle? did doc say what chances were? this is my first iui that i had on 22nd and go back for testing on 5th feb, my follicle was 18mm, spoke to doc today as i am very sore and bloated!!! apparo its from tablets thou, so nothing for me to worry about! me and my partner been trying for a few years, ans cant wait for the day to beg a positive back lol, when do you back for testing?lots of baby dust too you x x

Does anyone know if there are any symptoms that an early pregnancy would produce that PMS or progesterone would NOT? It's so frustrating, trying to listen to what my body is telling me, but can't tell if the cramps, nipple soreness, bloating, etc. are from early pregnancy or just my body getting ready for AF. Only 6 more days until I can take HPT - good luck to everyone else in this 2WW!!!!

Hi Harrisongoodall, I am actually from Barbados and was trying for one year. Then I went to the specialist as I am 39 years old and did not want to waste any more time. My follicle was only 17mm and after the sperm washing there were only 11 million sperm left to insert. They say that my chances are still good and I am keeping the faith. The strangest thing happened today where I am sure I passed air from my vagina. Has this happen to anyone else?
