olgakay0518 Thank you for the good luck wish, I will need it. I was having painful cramps after the IUI, is that normal? The nurse told me to take some advil so about an hour later I felt better.

babysophy cramping is normal and advil should've helped you. Some people don't feel anything at all, some cramp. I had little cramps, but felt bloated. My doctor just call I'm going in tomorrow for second IUI. I hope it works for both of us and everyone else who is trying.

I got pregnant with my first IUI in Feb of 06. We were shocked! We now have a beautiful little boy named Carter who just turned 3. We have been trying for about a year to have another one, but no luck. We did 3 more IUI's last year, got pregnant, but it was a tubal pregnancy. This year we have had 5 IUI's with no success. Its strange how things work. Good Luck!

ness2378 I wish you good luck as well. Congrats on your first baby and soon to come baby #2 :) It will happen when we least expect it. Baby dust to us all!

Hey babysophy, I did something different this time. I ovulated on my own naturally and did IUI this morning, but also got HCG shut and going for second IUI tomorrow. So two IUI back to back. So hopefully it will work.

olgakay0518 I pray that this will be your month. Good luck on the second iui. I am 7dpiui and for the last 7 days I've been waking at 5:00am feeling like my stomach is full, like I've been eating a ton of food. Do you know if this is one of the symtoms? I've also been feeling little crampy feelings on my left side of my ovary. I hope something good is happening in there :) Almost one week down and another one to go. The waiting is killing me.

babysophy, when I did my first IUI, I felt bloaded during my first week, but then it went away. This time it's different, I don't feel bloaded or cramps. I do hope that for you something good is happening in there. :) The waiting is the worse. The last two or three days before pregnancy test for me was the worse.

olgakay0518 I feel so depressed. Today is my 12dpiui and I did a HPT last night and it was negative. I couldn't wait, it was killing me. I don't think I am pregnant....I feel sad :( How are you feeling?

olgakay0518 - November 5

babysophy don't be sad there is still a chance. I did the same exact thing last month, I couldn't wait, so I tested at 12, then 13 days, and on the 14th day I got my period. I think the last day or two are the worse for waiting. I have another week to wait, this time I'm going to try to wait until day 14 to test. I feel nothing new or different. I try not to think about it.

Thank you olgakay0518. I told my husband today that I took the HPT and he wasn't too happy about it. He told me to wait and not test till Saturday but I didn't listen. I just feel like he doesn't understand my frustration. It's good that you are not thinking about it, Lord knows it'll drive all of us crazy. Good luck you're almost there.

babysophy, it's sad, but it's funny at the same time, because my husband told me the same thing, and I also didn't listen. For man it's not the same as for a woman, because we mentally get tired for waiting for 2 weeks, and we keep thinking is there a baby there or not. And we get disappointed. For me the second time was easier that the first. Because you kind of know what to expect.

I told my husband if the test on Saturday comes back negative, I want to go out and have a couple of drinks. I guess it'll happen when it's the right time.

Hello! My name is Rachel, my husband & I have been TTC for 5 years! I just did my 1st IUI 10/03/09 w/ no drugs. My Dr. says I do not need them. However I was a little disappointed because I am having to pay out of my pocket because my insurance won't cover until I have 5years worth of medical history of infertility, I only have 4 years documented. So I wanted to have drugs because I can't do this every month, & wanted to give it the best shot. So I am researching for success stories for IUI w/ no drugs. I haven't found many. I have unexplained infertility. I should start my period anywhere from 13-15 of Nov. I go 10/10 for my prog. level testing. I hope this works for me & everyone else that are posting there stories! This is my first time ever on any kind of forum!

olgakay0518 - November 6

babysophy, I still wish you the best, but if you do go out for drink have one for me too.

olgakay0518 - November 6

Rachel, I have the same situation as yours. Trying to TTC for 5 years (I have unexplained infertility) had one IUI no drugs, it didn't work. I did my second one 10/29 and 10/30.( Double IUI). I also took a class and every month you have only 15% chance to get pregnant. Keep us posted with the results and good luck.

Lilrach015 - November 6

What kind of class did you take? And is that 15% chance with IUI? Did you use medication for your 10/29 IUI? I'm sittin here @ work all sad, cause I feel crampish! Sometimes when it's a week before I start that is when I feel crampy sometimes. And I just got the IUI Tuesday, I can't be cramping ALREADY for my period!??? Please keep me posted on your result!
