Hi Ladies,
So the last time I was on here I had to cancel my cycle because I developed very painful cysts on my ovaries. It looks like they may have gone away because I no longer feel any pain in my stomach. I was supposed to go for a random cd3 u/s and blood work on April 27th, but have been advised to go tomorrow to see what's going on. Looks like I may have my af (not too sure though, considering I got my af almost 2 weeks ago). If, in fact it is af then I will probably be able to start the 100mg Clomid that's been waiting in my dresser. God willing my levels and u's come back ok and I can start taking Clomid, we'll be doing IUI once I ovulate. I hope this time everything goes well. We go on holidays in mid May and would really love to have IUI done before we go, just so that it makes the 2ww easier because I'll be distracted sightseeing. :-)
Keep your fingers crossed for me for tomorrow.

Thanks Patientlywaiting, Good luck to you. I hope that this will be your month!!
Well, I'm not on Clomid. My estrogen levels were higher than they wanted (295 as opposed to under 200), but they decided that I should start 100mg Clomid for 5 days. There's a big chance it won't work, but we'll try. I've now taken the pills for 2 days and really haven't been feeling any side effects. Minor cramps, but I'm also on my af and a minor headache. Is it normal not to get any side effects? I was so nervous thinking that I would be a basket case, but so far so good. I go back to the clinin on cd10 (apr. 28) to see if the follicles are growing. God, I hope they are!!! I'm trying not to get my hopes up but it's so hard. This is my first cycle on CLomid so I know that it could take anywhere from 3 to 4 cycles to see any results.

chorona: It is totally normal not to get any side effects ecspecially on your first cycle of clomid I have to say the only thing I really expirenced was hot flashes yeah a little on the emotional side sometimes but other than that I haven't had any issues with it. I know what you mean about getting your hopes up or trying not to anyway,I go through it every month and yea it is very hard to not get your hopes up but my dr told me stressing about it just weighs bad against yourself bc stress can cause infertility as well so I've been trying to take my mind off of things my husband and I just got some 4-wheelers (remember i'm from the south haha) and have been going out riding and have planned a camping trip for the 2 of us to relieve some stress. I really hope things work out for you and myself of course I have a pretty good feeling about this cycle but again I won't get my hopes up too much. Good luck girl!! Let me know what the dr says on the 28th BABY DUST TO US ALL AND LOTS OF LUCK!

bubblebaby: I just got my first + OPK and I am on my 4th round I am so excited and hoping that we did everything right. I was on 150mg of clomid and it seemed to do the trick I didn't have any headaches or cramps but the hot flashes were miserable half the time I was freezing my husband out of the house lol but the way I think is in the end it will all be worth it. I am wishing you the best of luck and lots of baby dust!!!!!
Baby dust to us all!!!!!!!!

Hi Patientlywaiting!
Thanks for your response. I finished the Clomid this past Sunday and thankfully never really experienced any of the miserable side effects. I had minor headaches, bu tI always get those so it wasn't a big deal. I had a hot flash once and it was when I woke up the morning after I took the last pill. As for mood swings, my husband says that I have those all of the time so it wasn't any different. LOL!
So, I went to the clinic today for cd10 monitoring. I have 1 follicle on each ovary but still very small, 9mm. The nurse said that they should be a bit bigger but she also told me not to discount it just yet. I go back again in 2 days to see if they are growing. I kind of have given up this month because right from the beginning she told me that my estrogen was too high and it may not work. We'll see what happens. It would be great if it did because then we could do the IUI and then go away on our Europe trip and not think about it. If it doesn't work then we're back to the drawing board when we back from vacation.
Good luck to you...I hope that this is your month too. Keep us posted!

chorona : I do wish you the best of luck I don't get ultrasounds unless my OB sees reason just a lot of bloodwork to check the progestron levels. You will have to let me know what they say when you go back. I test on "mothers day" to find out if I'm pregnant....I am crossing my fingers and praying extra hard. It would be great to find out on mothers day =) but I have to keep telling myself that I can't get my hopes up to high. I will definatley keep you guys informed. I want to wish you lots of baby dust! TO ALL THE LADIES I WISH YOU THE SAME!

Hi ladies,
Today is cd12, I went to the fertility clinic to measure my follicles. Still small 10mm...that means they only grew 1mm in 2 days!!! The nurse told me not to get discouraged sometimes they see increase in follicle size later int he cycle. I go back again on Monday. If there isn't much progress they will probably switch me to Letrozole instead of Clomid.
Have a great weekend everyone. I hope it's a lucky one for all! *baby dust*

Patientlywaiting, I read your last post and it is very similar to my situation. I also do not get ultrasounds. Just bloodwork to also check my progesterone levels. I began my first round of clomid on april 4th. I had my levels checked on the 22nd. The doctor at least wanted them to be at 13, mine were 25.3. What were your levels??? I am also going to take a test on mothers day. I have been having some cramps though and my breasts are tender, which could go either way! I thought I had some implantation bleeding last weekend, but don't want to get my hopes up. I wish everyone lots of luck. I will say baby prayers for everyone.
