Babymoon - March 24

Oh and I'm only taking 250mg day at the moment too and it's extended release...

hopefullysoon - March 24

Lol we always joke about my husbands age because he's so young! I'm almost 3 years older than him. He'll keep me feeling young when we get to old age!

Babymoon - wow that is a very low dose, but lower the less side effects which is good! I'm glad your not noticing any yet so far! I'm on 500mg 3 times a day. But the first week I'm only taking it once a day, then the second week twice a day then after that I'll be up to the 3 times a day.

O-BABY - I'm so jealous you're on day 9 of Provera! Even though I know it feels like you still have TONS of waiting left to do. I'm only on day 5 of provera and SO ready for it to be the end of April, even though I'm getting to the point where I feel like it's never going to happen. But I have a feeling one of us will have very good news soon!

And I think that both of you girls will definitely be pg by 30! Don't you worry! Heck O-BABY your child will be born before you turn 30 and babymoon you'll definitely be well into your pregnancy before you turn 30! I can feel it :)

To be honest I need to call the doc as I think the pharmacist screwed up the script, it says take 1/2 but I think the docs script said 1!
3 times a day wow! Let me know how you go with it!

@ngel - March 25

Good morning from Sunny SA (not so sunny today though...)

I'm feeling very old all of a sudden... I'm 32 and my partner is 27... well I'm turning 33 so makes it a 6 year diff... always wanted kids just never met the right guy :) So now things are really a bit of a rush rush and I dont want to wait till I'm 35 or older, starting to do something about it now seems the wise thing to do.

Also have my blood test tomorrow for progesterone... so fingers crossed, I really hope I ovulated. Will know on Monday.

Have a great weekend all, if I dont get online, and I hope everyone relaxes!! I have my cousin's 30th tomorrow and a relaxing day out with my man at the movies and for dinner on Sunday, so looking very forward to a break from work.

x

Okay ladies, day 2 hasn't been so great. Pain in the right side most of the day, not sure what that was from. But the main problem is nausea and vomiting, well not actually vomiting just a small amount sitting in the throat :(
Hoping now it's the weekend now I can rest up and adjust to it a little! Have a great weekend girls!

jac1019 - March 25

angel- don't feel old! I am 31 and will turn 37 in June :)

babymoon- I had severe ovulation pains the day before I ovulated on my previous two months of clomid. Those pains were caused by "hyperovulation"- releasing more than one egg from the ovary/ovaries.

Last night I was watching some show on the Discovery Health and Fitness channel called, "Twins By Surrogacy." The doctor they interviewed is my fertility doctor! I excitedly called my husband into the room. He didn't seem to think my doctor had the same, new rock star status I found him to have...lol

Hopefullysoon- we are hoping to take a similar vacation this summer. I LOVE San Francisco, although I have never been to Seattle and really want to visit it.

hopefullysoon - March 25

Angel - don't feel old at all, cause you're definitely not! And I like the fact that your partner is also younger than you :) Good luck with your blood test! I'm hoping for good results for you! Also glad you have a nice relaxing weekend planned, anything to help keep our minds off of all of this is fantastic!

Babymoon - I really hope your side effects go away soon :( They say your body should get used to it fairly quickly so I'm hoping that's true in your case too! If it continues for more than a few days I'd contact your dr.

Jac1019 - that's quite the age jump, your 31 and will turn 37 in June? I'm hoping you meant to say you'll turn 32 in June, as no one wants to age 6 years all at once lol :) That's so neat that your doctor was on TV! Now you know you're definitely in good hands! I've never been to San Francisco before, I'm REALLY looking forward to it and we already have our tickets to alcatrez (my main reason for wanting to go). I've been to Seattle a couple times and I like it, it's very similar to Vancouver to me which is where I live. It was half the price to fly from Seattle to San Fran than from Vancouver to San Fran so we thought why not take the 3 hours drive to Seattle and make a day of it :)

As for me I'm currently on day 6 of Provera. 6 down 4 more to go!

jac1019 - March 25

OMG, I will be 32 in October. I meant to write that my husband will be 37 in June... lol I am not ready for 32, let alone 37.

My dad visited Vancouver two summers ago, during a North American West Coast trip he and my stepmother took. He said it was one of his favorite trips, and mentioned how stunning it is there.

mumstheword - March 25

OMG! so jealous of you guys in USA, taking trips to all these exiting places. sounds so much better than boring old england :( would love to travel the world. i have family in singapore,(step mam is from there) so get to travel there ocasionaly, me and partner take our hols in spain usualy. its fab. this year staying in uk for our hols, although its usualy cheaper to go away in europe,.. spain, greece, turkey etc. english hols are expensive. i am 30, so is my better half. hope you all have a good weekend, and enjoy your travels. im still made up with cold, which is 10 times worse since i have no energy what so ever. i know you feel tired in early pregnancy, but this is something else :( i could happilky sleep the clock round oh well, s,pose i,ll feel better as time goes on. cheerio x x x

Babymoon - March 25

I don't think these would be o pains as it's only day 11, and I usually have about 32 to 36 day cycle. I sure hope they aren't, hubby is in hong kong on business, would be such a shame to miss an opp!
I'm hoping I adjust quickly to met , hopefullysoon how are you going on it?

O-BABY - March 26

jac1019- That is really cool that your Doc was on the discovery channel! Be sure and let us know how your blood test goes :)

hopefullysoon- Only 4 more to go girl! I know that you are more than ready to start this round of Clomid! I know I am! And your vacation sounds amazing and way relaxing! :) And I am with you on the getting to know each other better. I know this might sound a little weird..but by any chance do you have a facebook page? I totally understand if you do and do not want to give out your name or anything. I was reading about Metformin and it says that it makes a lot of women that are on Clomid lose weight. So maybe while taking it you will lose any weight that you have gained. I actually called my Doc to see if she I could take it. I spoke to the nurse and she said that she doesn't see a reason why I couldn't, so hopefully when my Doc returns I can start Metformin also. How are the side effects of Metformin? I hope that you are not having any at all, and your body adjust to it quickly.

mumstheword- I am sorry that you have been so tired. I would give anything to be in your shoes though....pregnant and tired is a lot better than still ttc and taking meds. I am happy for you though. Embrace the tiredness, sickness, and everything that comes with, it truly is a blessing =)

Babymoon- I am not sure about the pains that you are having. I would call my doctor if they continue or they get worse. It does seem a bit early for you to be ovulating, but you never know...our bodies are sometimes so unpredictable. Keep us updated on how you are feeling. I hope that the pain subsides.

It is actually 12:42AM right now, and I guess now I can say that I took my 10th Provera pill yesterday! So now I am just waiting for AF to show. My husband works second shift, so I we are up until about 2:30-4AM. So if you see posts on here from me that early, that is why...lol OMGOSH!! I am soooooo ready to have a baby in my belly!!! Hoping so much that this is the month!! I am not sure if any of you ladies do this or have done this, but......I go on different websites and look up baby bedding, decor, and clothes! Am I alone on this? I try not to get my hopes up, but I love to decorate anyways, and I just can't wait to decorate our babies nursery :) Ok, I am randomly babbling, so I will log off here for now. Can't wait to here from all of you! Lets hope to have some GREAT news from someone SOON!

hopefullysoon - March 26

OBABY - I don't think that's a weird question at all (about Facebook). I was thinking the same thing! My name is Meghan Helm, look me up:) and I also look at baby decor all the time! I can't help it either! It doesn't hurt to dream, it helps keep my hopes up! Everytime me and my husband are in a department store I always ask if we can look at strollers, car seats and bedding ha ha! I hope AF shows up for you soon! I noticed the 2nd time I had to take provera it took me longer to get AF then it did the first time so hang in there, it's on it's way :)

So far I'm not having any side effects from the metformin, thankfully! I'm still on only one 500mg tablet a day though, I'll be at 2 tablets on Wednesday.

Babymoon - March 26

Obaby!
I do it all the time but I'm careful not to buy anything, I feel I will jinx myself.
Mumstheword
I agree embrace that tiredness and all the other stuff when you are feelingsick think of how u were feeling when tcc!! Hopefully it gets better for you soon!

Babymoon - March 26

Hopefullysoon, I'm glad you aren't getting any side effects! I'm feeling better today, hoping that's the worst of it! I can see why you lose weight on it, I don't get hungry and are basically forcing myself to eat when I need to take them!
I'm trying to remember if I had pain last month before things got started, I'm hoping the pain was just good follies getting ready to pop!!
2 sleeps till my hubby is home, can't wait, this is the longest we have been apart since we got together!!

Babymoon - March 27

Jac1019
That trip sounds amazing and I agree that it all helps to relax us and de stress! I have been to Vancouver and actually lived in Edmonton for a year when I was a teenager, Canada is gorgeous! You are lucky to have that on your doorstep!!

hopefullysoon - March 27

Babymoon - I'm glad your side effects are gone, and I hope it stays that way for you! And it's me that lives in Vancouver, jac1019 lives in Philadelphia. And yes it's gorgeous here, I couldn't imagine living anywhere else ( except maybe Hawaii or Australia, so it was warm out all year round!)

Well I'm on day 8 of provera! So close to my pills being over with and AF is on it's way! Yay to starting the next round of clomid soon! I've had this awful sore swollen throat for the last few days and I wish it'd hurry up and disappear!

I'm going to a baby shower today (baby Is already born) and I'm quite surprised that it's not bothering me! But I guess that's a good thing! I'm going to ask my friend if she still wants me there even though Im sick, I don't want to get the baby sick, she's only a month old.
