Hi everyone! I'm on my first round of Clomid since my tubal pregnancy last September. I'm on CD8 and I have my CD12 ultrasound Friday. I'm hoping I get positive news!!
Crmr2008, I got a positive for ovulation on CD13 when I was on Clomid last August. I have a 28 day cycle.
I decided to give up Facebook for lent this year. Since my tubal pregnancy, 19 people have announced their pregnancies. It was giving me a really bad attitude, which isn't what I need right now. I'm keeping everyone in my prayers. We're all in this together!!

Hello All,
Hoping everyone is doing well. I did three rounds of clomid at 50 mg each round, this is my first month off of it and I feel like myself again. Unfortunately, the three rounds did not work to get me pregnant, I did ovulated on it however no pregnancies. I had such "HIGH" hopes that this drug would work to get me pregnant, but I believe its just all in God's hands now. He is the giver of life, we took this month (Feb) off from trying and just want to enjoy each other again. Yesterday, I found out that a family member is pregnant, I cried to my husband and was so so sad all day, I could not even eat. I am happy for my sister in law but its so hard for me. We have been trying for our second child for almost three years now. I had two miscarriages, one in 2010 and one in 2011 (in 2011) i lost my son at eighteen weeks. We have been trying to conceive again and nothing has happen for us. I was only willing to give CLomid three months because I have read that if its going to work, should work the first three months. Since, this is my first month off Clomid, we had intercourse over the weekend, afterwards, noticed some spotting but very little. Not sure what it is or if its because I have gotten off the drug, has anyone experience this once they get off Clomid? Please help to reassure me.
So, here I am off Clomid, less emotional and feeling good without it. I was so emotional and had bad hot flashes. I noticed that this month, still had some hot flashes but not as bad as when I was taking Clomid. I don't plan on taking Clomid again as it did not work for me. At this point, I give up, we will just have sex because we want to and trust in GOD that if he wants me to have a second child, He will make things happen for me. I really have to believe this. These few years have been nothing but struggles for me and having to watch and witness over what seems like 50 other pregnancies between family and friends is so hard....... Its unbearable at times and no one really understands. I used to journal on here often but lost sight of everything with all the stress of trying to get pregnant. I am okay today and right now and continue to read the blog and hoping everyone on here will get pregnant soon!!!!!

Hi, I hope you're all having a good week. So this past Monday was two weeks since my 2nd IUI, and I did a HPT before going to the doc and I actually got a BFP! I was so happy, but then I went to the doc for the preg test, and they said my HCG level was low, 20 to be exact, and that it should be around 40-50, so it could be a chemical pregnancy. I'm going back for another blood test tomorrow to see if the HCG doubled. I'm just so scared because I've never been this close before, and just really hope my hormone level rises. Has anyone else ever had a BFP with low HCG levels? I also read that sometimes the HCG is low because it could be a tubal pregnancy, but I'm praying so hard that that's not the case. If anyone had an experience like this I would love to hear about it.

Its been a week and a half since my IUI. I took a HPT but it came out BFN. I am so sad :( I think Im gonna talk to my dr and have her run tests to be sure everything is ok before I do another one. I feel like Im getting to the point where I need to take a break :(

I forgot..does anyone know of any tests they would recommend me asking my dr to do? Just to be sure everything is where it needs to be...

Great to hear that but sad that ur hormone level is not increasing...I had a chemical pregnancy and after five days of bleeding my HCG Blood level was 165 and my doc told me that it has to get double within 48 hrs if I m still having baby...
Second if its dropping the than i had lost that pregnancy
Third if there is little bit of increase or stable then there will be a chance of Tubal Pregnancy ..
And when they took another blood test in that my level was decreasing...
so it means if u r not have any increase in ur levels then it means baby is not developing ...
I pray that this would not be in ur case..and ur level start increasing day by day... have faith in God...

Jinni- I meant testing progesterone levels, vitamin deficiency, thyroid...stuff like that

mtaylor829: Maybe a week and a half is still too early to test? My doc said not to test until two weeks has passed, so maybe try again in a few days? Do you do the trigger shot as well? Hmm, I haven't done many tests either, just the HSG one with the dye to see if my tubes were blocked, and my husband had a sperm analysis. I think what MAY have helped me this month was being on Estrace because my uterine lining was way too thin from Clomid, but who knows. It's probably worth having some hormone and thyroid tests, it can't hurt, especially if your insurance covers them. There's also some blood test they do that can test your egg quality or ovarian reserve, I forget what it's called though.
Jinni: Thanks for the info, I'm really hoping that it's not a tubal or chemical pregnancy. Wow, that must have been so hard for you to go through! Thanks for the prayers.

Kittymom: I am praying that your are for sure pregnant! I also pray that the time goes by quick. I know it is awful having to wait to see what is going on. Many prayers your way! Before your took Estrace what was your uterine lining measuring at and what day?
I am on CD 18. This is my first round of Clomind 50mg. I still have not ovulated :( I am so stressed and feel like crying all of the time! I have put a lot of hope in Clomid. My doctor told me to keep testing and if I don't ovulate she is going to up my dose next month. I had a friend that did not ovulate until day 20, and I don't have a normal cycle length so it is is hard to pinpoint when I will ovulate. I am so stressed.
How often do you guys do the baby dance when trying to conceive? I have heard some say every day and others every other. I stress about this!! Also is it better to check for ovvulation in the morning or night? I have been testing both am and pm.
I need some advice!

crmr - I'm on CD 17 first round Clomid 100mg. I haven't ovulated either, I am testing both morning and night. We are bd'ing every other day but I think we will kick it up to every day just cause I really don't want to miss it. I don't have regular cycles either so it sounds like we are in the same boat! I talked to another group of friends this morning who mostly did Clomid and they all said that it caused them to ovulate late. They all o'd between cd18 and cd22 and they all have healthy happy babies in their arms and on the way :)

kittymom- I really hope you get the results and your levels have increased.I will be thinking of you :-)
mtaylor- I agree with kittymom, perhaps it may be a bit early. as far as testing goes, i had the hsg, then an additional investigative ultrasound to ensure everything was ok with uterus etc. also have had lots of bloodtests for progesterone, pituitary, thyroid etc. if you have had a hsg and everything was ok and the sperm analysis i am not sure what else.
crmr- I did not test my ovulation at home when i started clomid but I did get bloodtests on day 3, 21 and then every week after until next cycle started and on day 28 i had a really high progesterone level but nothing on day 21 so they had told me i didn't ovulate until then and i had taken the 50 mg of clomid on day 3-7 so maybe it will come soon. we do the baby dance every other day because sperm can live in the body up to 36 hours and i was told not to do so everyday to build up count.
jinni- as with everyone else i hope you are blessed with a healthy pregnancy soon.
I have to tell you ladies thanks! It is so comforting to know that there are other woman out there going through the same struggle. I found out today that a friend of mine is pregnant and couldn't wait to get home to read your posts so I could feel better. I am happy for my friend, it's just hard after 3 years of trying and nothing. I am waiting to try my first IUI in a few weeks. I really hope it works because this is so hard. I already did three months of clomid with no success.

crmr2008: Thank you so much for your prayers, they mean a lot to me! I had the ultrasound on CD 9, after taking Clomid 100mg CD 3-7. She said my lining was only at 3, so I started Estrace that day. It turns out I had some follicles that were getting ready, so she had me take the trigger shot on CD 11 and IUI 36 hours later. Have you asked for the trigger shot? It might help speed things up a little. As for the bd'ing, we usually do every other day during that good week, except when I know I'm going to trigger, then 2-3 days in a row. In answer to your last question, I started using opk's in the morning for a few months, then switched to evenings, just figuring we can bd right after the positive one instead of waiting a whole work day. You're probably fine either way though.

mtaylor829 I had my progestrone level test on 21st day of period and it was 38 and my doc told that its a pretty gud level...and I ovulated also...
Chance of pregnancy also...
before that I had HSG test to see the tubes..My hubby sperm test..they test the level of vitamin D, iron also..

crmr2008..I know this waiting game is pathetic...But if u take stress then there will be more issues..Just relax...
Its said that for test ovulation the best time is in the evening (4.00 PM to 9:00 PM)...Don't drink liquid 3 or 4 hrs before testing....

Well I decided to take another hpt before going to the doc this morning and I got a BFN. I'm devastated and can't stop crying. I wish I never got the BFP to begin with because it got my hopes up. Now I just have to wait for AF. Can't believe this is happening.
