hello ladies =)
well i am 26, hubby is only 22 and all we know is "unexplained infertility"! So frustrating.. All u/s and scans came up fine, ovulate on my own but have been put on clomid for 6 months (i dont think my gp really has any idea what to do)i started my first cycle on days 4-9 this cycle, ovualted on either day 14 or 15 , im now only on cycle day 19 and i am having major cramping =( im not sure if cramping this late from clomid is normal or if i should go to the doctor? my doctor is not monitoring or anything basically wrote me the script, didnt tell me how to take it or why just sent me on my way so im not sure whats good or bad..
On another note if one more person tells me if i just do this or that it will happen, or that its obviously this thing im doing or not doing thats the problem im gonna scream ha ha like i would really be going through this clomid and things if there were easier more simpler things to try.. gaahh some people can be so frustrating, glad you ladies understand tho its a huge help!

sorry forgot to mention i have never been pregnant, never had a m/c nothing! so am wondering if its even possible at all for me?

Nevsgirl sorry to hear that you are going through this just know that you are not alone im hoping for a BFP soon, since you said that everything was fine with you have you gotten your husband to take a semen analysis? It could be male factors. Goodluck soon.

Hi everyone!! It has been so uplifting reading everyone's stories. I have been married for five years and TTC since the beginning!! I finally was told that I don't ovulate and have symptoms related to PCOS. I go to the OBGYN on Fri. to start discussing meds like Clomid and metformin. There aren't many things I'm sure of in life but I know that I was meant to be a mom. I pray for each of your strength to endure and know that race is not given to the swift.

Well af decided to visit me :( Oh well. Starting clomid here in a few days. I started acupuncture to hopefully give me a little add on help. Try to stay positive but wow it's hard. Wishing you all good luck!

Hey everyone! I am a mother of a beautiful 7yr old girl, I was diagnosed with PCOS 2yrs ago. My Dr. at Kaiser originally diagnosed me & started me on Metformin & Provera with no success. I was then told because I already had a child that I wasn't infertile. I now have new insurance which mean new private Dr. She has been great with helping me out , however it's hard to track my cycles because I never come on the same time. I started my first round of clomid 5mg last month. However, that cycle was pretty weird I spotted very lightly for 3 1/2 days then bled heavily for 6 more days . I still however started on what I believed to be day 5. I also did a very uncomfortable procedure to see whether or not my Fallopian tubes were open & they are. I'm really getting down on not being able to conceive. Your stories on here gives me a little hope. I haven't had any symptoms except the Hot Flashes, I thought it was just me glad to see this is an S/E.
Also, I'm a little challenged on some of the terms I see on here like: AF, or BFP, DH . Can you help understand? :-)

Hoping4amiracle: stay positive tho I know that's easier said than done.
AF= Aunt Flo (period)
DH= dear husband
BFP= big fat positive

Stacker313- Thanks so much! Well I was ovulating earlier this week... & I started cramping late yesterday (day 3 after ovulation) & a little more today ... Does this mean AF is coming? Is this a S/E from the clomid ?

On day 2 of clomid. I'm doing it CD 3-7. Leaving for vacation next week and doctors orders were to get pregnant at the beach haha! That's actually where it happened last year so I'm having mixed feelings of sadness and maybe some luck coming my way. Who knows but I wish I could just relax and move past this. I know it'll never happen if I don't relax!! Baby dust to you all!

When I took clomid, I had cramping about a week after finishing the pills that continued thru til when AF was due and even after. I thought AF was coming some the cramps were so bad but miraculously, the test showed a BFP! Good luck!!

hoping4amiracle- i started on 50 mg days 4-9 this month too! i only had hot flushes whilst i was taking the pills so i thought wow what a relief. yep spoke way too soon i did lol! bout 3 dpo it all began! i had INSANE cramps for about 5 days like from my hips all the way down to my knees it was horrible (everyone kept telling me it was ovulation cramping but i have never got any cramping or anything until my period) after 4 days i actually rang my chemist in a panic to ask if it was normal and i was told no so i rang my doctor and thankfully he said its quite possibly just a side effect! Also i have been peeing like crazy, when im sitting up or walking around i dont need to but as soon as i lay down bam i need to pee with in 5 minutes! atleast 8 or 9 times a night, i am still having cramping at 10dpo although not bad anymore, and the peeing has not let up at all! oh plus the weight gain grrr, i have been a size 6-8 (im just normally small all round) my whole life n its my first month on clomid and i have already put on 6 kilos!!! horrible horrible side effects, but dont get me wrong if it results in a little miracle it will all be worth it =)

Nevsgirl: I haven't had the urination S/E but I did have Hot Flashes & Cramping... Now I'm just waiting 2 see if AF will come or if I will have a BFP!! How long have you been trying ???

I just completed my first round of 100 mg Clomid after 4 years of unexplained infertility. I am comforted to hear your stories, many of them successful, and it gives me hope. Unless you've been through this, you just don't get it. And I've found that people start to avoid you, because they dont' know what to say. All my life I wanted to be a mother, and when you are knocked down so many times, its hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. But reading your stories has helped me more than you know. :)
