MEL>> yes I was having red blood for three days but the other week and half was brown spotting!! NOT what I call a period! If you get my e-mail (your hotmail) you can read about how I have been feeling "K"..

Milissa - May 17

when I mean red blood I meant very very light pinkish blood...

I had heard of metformin, I just couldn't remember what it did. You don't have PCOS do you?

Mel - May 17

Milissa, is that the same type of blood you had with Stevie?

Mel - May 17

Hi Christina!

Crystal - May 17

MEl> I do have PCOS! I have been taking the metformin for about 6 months now and I cant tell that I am taking it. It has made any difference in me, but the dr still wants me to continue taking it in hopes that with the clomid added together they will work.

Mel - May 17

Hey Crystal. I heard that does work for a lot of women with PCOS. Everything I read had mentioned the two together. How long have you been on it?

Mel - May 17

I meant both metformin and clomid.

MEL> yes pretty close i believe?? I thought it was a period till the I started to get lightheaded and felt like I was going to pass out sometimes...I would get really white and flush and would have to put cold water on my face and I always came close to throwing up but never came out...Morning sickness really bad for 4 months!!!

I thought I had diabeties??? Yes funny now..but I kept asking family how do u know if you have diabeties...they told me you are probalbly pregnant.. well they were right..

Mel> I have been taking the metformin for about 6 months. The dr first put me on it and provera for ten days to try to get af to regulate. I never have af unless it is induced. WELL that didnt work, so now i am taking the provera to induce af then taking clomid days 5-9, while taking the metformin 3 times a day, 1500 mg.

Crystal - May 17

I did this last cycle as well except for I was taking 50mg clomid, now I am taking 100 mg clomid.

Mel - May 17

I read statistics that 75% of the women on clomid conceive within their first 3 month round. Sooooo.... make sure you're busy this month. :-)

Crystal - May 17

Mel> I will be. I was really excited last month, and devastated when i found out i was not pregnant. I am using the opk so i know i ovulated last month but it wasnt unitl cd 22. So hopefully the 100mg of clomid will bring ovulation on alot sooner this month and we will be good to go. I am not getting my hopes to high this month, because last month was so hard. It was my first round of clomid and I was just kind of expecting to be pregnant. That is the wrong mentalaty to have and I had to learn the hard way. Well we are praying this this month is gods will and that is what we are leaving it at. (Just praying that I will be strong enough to keep that attitude all the way through ;} )

Hi everyone, havn't been around as my daughter has chickenpox! a nightmare 10 days, finally they are fallling off but she's pretty much been curled on my lap the whole time! I've read all your posts and agree that amy should stop nagging her husband, he'll never come round to her way of thinking and will end up resenting her and ultimately leaving her. Hi to drew and crystal who i havn't spoken to before, i am a chlomid girl! Took my 5th cycle this month and now on the waiting game for AF! usually arrives on the 22nd and i do have a twinge of backache and a little spot on my chin so i think on the way-unfortunately. I have one more cycle left to take, I believe that if you take more than 6 months worth you are at risk of ovarian cysts and overstimulation which is painful. I don't know why i'm bothering to take the 6th course really as i know it has made me ovuate every month i've taken it, there is just no end result, so i either have this anovulation where my eggs don't get released or something that requires more treatment. My husband has to do his 'sample' thing next week and i am waiting for a date for a laparoscopy to check out the tubes! Do you know if blockages can occur when i don't have any problems such as endometriosis or how scar tissue occurs, i have had no surgeries or illnesses that can have caused this? Well i'll check back in with you all in a couple of days. Take care

Rebecca xx
