Hello girls : ) Sorry for not writing sooner, Dh got sick (back from a work trip) and I was kind of stuck with work. ISA - I'm so sorry your options are limited. Though I sometimes get angry with God and lose faith in him (which I feel guilty about) ... I do believe miracles can happen, you'll never know : ) Re : My temps - Pre ov temps are usually @ average 98.3F/36.7C and my post ov temps average @ 99.1F/37.0C ... well this cycle, it had gotten a little higher. But I would like you to know ... my temps were not this high @ the begining(Jan05). It was only after 4 mths of treatment that they started to climb ... on the 6th(Jun/Jul05) cycle I got pg. I don't think high bbt temps matters very much, it the temp difference between pre ov and post ov that matters more. But I read low post ov temps indicates low progesterone levels that's all. I'm with all of you when it comes to friends anouncing their pregnancy ... happy for them but depression/sadness sets in for me after that. ISA - Have you read the book(The Infertilty Cure) yet if not ... I think you should seriously think about it reading it. VAL - My temps used to vary quite a bit and they were low too begining Jan05 but they kind of stayed constant since May05. Then after mc I had 2 cycles this year that varies again .. Jan/Feb and Mar/Apr. The ladies are right ... you might want a 2nd opinion from another RE. Since this one hasn't and didn't order any test. VAL - I took a look at you charts today, I notice for the past 2 cycle, your temp difference(bewteen the base line temp) on 9dpo the gaps aren't very wide as compared to the rest of your charts. You might want to check with your ND for that ... might be something going on there. VAL - 98.4F isn't low ... it isn't over till af shows. COL - You're right ...where you live makes a little difference. I was told when temping in a cooler climate, you should leave the thermometer in your mouth for no less than 5 mins before reading it. Taking a 3 mth long break ... I would go crazy not working at all and it would be just obsession(over the ttc issues). Perhaps you could work from home or something ... it helps to keep our minds in shape. COL -- Did you test for ov yet? My updates ... 17dpo, temps had been constant @ 99.64F/37.2C for 4 mornings in a roll now and I'm still not having any other signs except sore bbs. My docs said .. my temps needs to stay high for 18-20days then I can start testing. Last time pg ... I tested +ve on cd38/18dpo with a CB digital hpt when I pulled out the stick it was a faint line. Well ...if af doesn't show, I will do a test on Saturday morning. Anyway, I had that same weird dream again (last night), dreamt that I had twins boys again ... I'm wondering if this could be a sign. Have a good day everyone ... TTYL : )

hi ladies... thanks for all your support and input. I agree about the RE, but I did pay $300 out of pocket to see him and start tx so I think I might try to work with him a bit more to see if he is more proactive, especially after he looks at my most recent charts and prog test results. He's at a highly regarded clinic, and there's only one other comparable option in Portland and I'd have to pay $350 to start over there. Grrr... I am definitely going to get a new GP (general practitioner) - a friend recommended someone who has been supportive of her seeing a naturopath. On Thursday I'm going in to see my naturopath for acupuncture and I'll find out what she recommends about the progesterone. Then I'll drop my charts and test results off at the RE's office and ask for his opinion about the progesterone. Today is 14dpo and my temps dropped even further to 98.1 which is below my baseline. Pretty sure af will start up any minute... had some minor spotting already. Luckily I've pretty much already accepted that it's coming so I'm not too upset anymore. SANN, I'll ask about those low temps... thanks for pointing that out. I'm hoping your dream does mean something good for you! COL, taking a break sounds like it might be a good plan. My good friend did the same thing last year when she was trying to get pregnant. I was worried that it would give her too much time to obsess, but I think it was actually good for her, and she ended up getting pg (via IVF as she had some major issues). She did volunteer while she wasn't working, so she had some activity to keep her busy without all the stress of a high-pressure career job. ISA, I do agree that seeing an ND can be helpful. I've never heard of that muscular response to acupuncture... maybe another person would have better results? Alright, I've gotta run... hope everyone has a good day... :-)

Hello ladies, Sann, I am so optimistic about your temps, I think if you have 18 days of high temps, that means something. I wish your dream comes true. : ) : ) I did test for ovulation, and it was positive 2 days ago, as I mentioned before I ovulate on CD 14 sharp these days. so today is my 1dpo. Sann, my husband thinks the same way you do about my time off. But for me I want to have sometime for me. Val, I think your friend did the best thing. Sann, please make sure to update us on your test immediately. God bless you all

That would be neat. Val good luck finding this new GP. Our our way they are very tough to come buy. I have to go 2 cities over to go to my family doc. anyways I'm tired and going zzzzzzz's.

Hello everyone : ) Nothing to report ... still no symptons except sore bbs. COL ... I'm not optimistic cos I really don't feel pg .... no pg signs! ISA ... Seeing ND is definitely a good idea ... I'm sure they can do something about the low bbt. And COL ... you too check with your ND for the temps. VAL .... Sorry af showed .... big hug : ) I forgot to ask ... which were the mths that you did acupunture? I'm no fertility expert but it's part of my job to assess chart fluctuations. It's 2am for me ... bedtime! I'll write again tomorrow(well ...later today) after my visits to the doctors .. see what they say. Have a nice day : )

Hi girls : ) Just got home ffrom my physician's office. It's 18dpo and my temp dipped a little this morning(37.1C/99.37F) but it's still on the high side. Anyway ... I couldn't wait till Saturday morning to test, I tested this morning. I got a faint +ve ... the test is lighter than the control line. My physician said to go in to my ob/gynae office(next week) a blood test and maybe a u/s for confirmation but she did say at this point in time we probably wouldn't be able to see anything ... maybe just to the yolk sac. I'm going to do test again tomorrow morning see if the line gets darker. Well ... today I've 2 more signs, can't stop burping after lunch and feeling sleepy (right now). Do you all think I'm pg ... since it's a faint line(which was what I got when I found out I was pg) I feeling kind guilty tell all you I've a +ve hpt(not sure if it really counts though) ... I've been there, I know how it feels. I'm sending all of you tonnes and tonnes of baby dust. I'm happy and excited that I've a +ve but I'm also really scared at this point of time and praying really really hard. COL - If it's a break, you really feel you need .... follow your heart then. ISA - Thanks : ) I'm praying my dreams come true. VAL - What did your ND say about the progesterone level? And good luck with the new GP. Got to go take a nap ... I'm feeling exhausted. I'll check in later : )

I did see the ND yesterday. Both she and my RE prescribed Prometrium, a progesterone supplement, so I'll take it starting around ovulation. If I end up pg this cycle, I think I stay on it through week 12. SANN, how are you doing? Did you take another test? When I got my bfp, I think I took like 3 tests because I couldn't believe it! :-)

Good morning girls : ) Thanks so much for all your well wishes ..... I'm soooooooooo touched by all your warmth and concern : ) : ) : ) I couldn't have made it through the past mths without all of you. Dh's reallllllly excited and he's more positive than I am. I'm just worried sick right now : ( Well ... we're not going to say anything to anyone till we past 1st trimester or till the tummy shows but I do want to tell my sister though, she's been worried all these mths about the stress was driving me insane. I was suppose to my ob/gynae too (yesterday) .... but she cancelled on me cos of an emergency c-sect and I wasn't too comfortable with seeing someone else. My physician's office has got no facilities for any bloodworks and u/s. Anyway she requested for me to see her every week from now on. I hope my O/G has an opening on Monday cos she's not availabe on Tuesdays ... I don't want to wait. ISA ....Yes, the CB digital ones are best, we don't had cheap hpt or opk( anything that's pertaining to pregnancy are only found in the pharmacies) ... wish we had though. Oh! I don't think it's just beta hcg(if that's what you're asking) but also progesterone etc due to my past history. Hope you find a good ND soon : ) Ladies .... I forgot all about testing this morning, so no update there. Ok .. will test this evening with the CB and tomorrow will get the CB digital one (ran out of the pee stick) test again. COL ... 3dpo, keep on with the bd'ing every other day : ) VAL ... that's great to hear both docs are stepping up measures : ) When are you going to see the new GP? Hopeful and Excited has started a new thread (the pregnant over35 board) ... you might want to join in there too : ) Loads of baby dust to all : )

Sann for sure keep us posted on every new development. Your right to go in and get prog. tested to make sure you dont need a supplement. I think I o'd the other day but not sure when as opks didnt work this month. Cp is low and med to closed today and cm getting lotiony. Did temp this morn. but pen skipped and didnt write the 3rd number so I know it was 97. ? but that doesnt do me any good today to figure out where I am on this cycle. I'm going to bet I may have o'd on Wed or thursday (but who knows) we bd last night just in case. Col can you give me the name of your ND.

Hi girls : ) ISA - Yes ... will definitely keep all of you posted every step of the way. I think your temp pretty good this cycle ... it's usually 97. something for me too when ov. Has you temps gone up a little today? Certainly a good idea carrying on with the bd'ing ... like you said who knows cos it's hard to figure out those opk sometimes (I always have a hard time if don't use the digital ones). Ok ... you're in the 2ww with COL too. According to my physician .... don't stress, don't carry heavy stuff and don't do anything that's strenous during the 2ww (basically behave as if you're pg), yahhhh! Oh! I almost forgot ... don't drink very cold icy drinks, cool is fine : ) No alcohal ... red wine is fine(just 2-3 glasses) cos it's helps to pump the blood. VAL - How are doing? My updates, well ... nothing much is happening except the nausea is starting to kick in and my energy level has gotten lower (feeling sleepy in the afternoon) that's about all. Ladies ... What do you think .... lets move over to the Pregnant over35 board to the new thread (TTC = HCG = BFP (ASAP!) = HAPPY ME!!!) ... Hopeful just got her Bfp on Sunday morning. I think ... it's a LUCKY THREAD for everyone, lots of positive vibes and baby dust going on over there : ) : ) : ) Baby dust to all of you : )
