Girls .. typo I meant to say barly 24hrs of spotting. As you see ... I can't get my mind to get to work and I have "deadline" dateline to meet and I can't afford to "mess up" ... major $$$$$ deal : ( LOL

Col, that's great about quitting smoking! I feel lucky that I didn't get addicted. I do like having a drink in the evening- that's my primary vice. I've cut back since having trouble ttc, but when I've had a bad day (or when af comes) I still definitely like a glass of wine or a drink! WW is a good program. I should start going again. I was doing really well on it (lost about 11 lbs over 3 month) but I'm trying to save money. SANN, the dr didn't tell me to cut back on exercise, it's just something I decided to do. And I've still been doing the elliptical 2x/week - I've just cut back on the ab work. Your af and bbs pain sounds unusual, but it sounds like this whole cycle has been strange. Do your know your ovulation date or did you have a touch time pinning that down this month? I know it was a really long cycle. Have you tested again recently? I started spotting yesterday and my temps went down to 98.2 this morning (a .4 drop). It's 15dpo. I really doubt that I'm pg... now I just want af to officially start! Going to go pick-up my second round of clomid today... yay!

Hello Girls : ) VAL, Sorry about the spotting. There may till be hope ... don't give up, isn't over yet : ) This cycle is surely out of the ordinary, my longest cycle to date. I did get a definite +ve opk (06/26) test line was dark I assume LH surge and I o'd. I haven't done any hpt I don't have the urge to test which is also not me. I've been "calm" other than PMS : ) I guess it's probably due to stress from work or my hormones just decided to go crazy again : ( Girls ... I'm wishing it's IB so we'll see if my temp raises again in a couple of days. I read it causes temps to dip like af... wishful thinking, hah : ) There isn't much info on IB and af/bleeding during pg that I've come across though there're some threads on "Signs of Pregnancy", I read. Have you read much on this? There aren't that many books on fertility here. I haven't had the time to look for them in the Universities's library. Having a drink or two(red wine) is fine, isn't it? I read red wine contains anti-oxidants, right? I like a glass or 2 sometimes, that's about it. Would it hurt when ttc? I've read contradicting info too : ( What's your base line temp? Are temps below base line? Glad to hear your positives and clomid is working for you : ) My ob/gynae said she'll u/s monitor me when she puts me on any ov meds, is this the norm in the US ??? Hi girls... Sann, I do think maybe you should test again. How high are your temps usually after ovulation? I'm sending out good thoughts to you! It's good you'll be monitored on the clomid. I'm actually planning to call my RE tomorrow and ask about why they don't monitor. I just read the detailed info from my clomid rx and it suggests monitoring between cycles to make sure you're not having ovarian enlargement. eeek. Plus, it also recommends to only take 50mg/day if you are ov-ing, but my re has me on 100. Oh yeah, and I'm officially on cd2 - af is here full force, no mistaking it for anything else! I'm not feeling upset though - just want to move on to a cycle where dh will be here through all my fertile days. The past 2 cycles were definitely sort of a waste since he was gone. Hello ladies, hope you are doing well. wow, lots of questions for me : ) : ) : ). Ok , let me start by answering the smoking one, Sann, yes I just quit cold turkey : ) : ) , but mind you, I was prepared mentally for that, as I said, smoking is not something I liked to start with, plus I used to hate it : ) : ). So when I decided to quit, it was not that hard mentally, but physically and emotionally it was so bad, I got depressed, and I did not know that quitting was the reason. But my doctor said that this is normal, and it will go after 6 months.
As for your question about the results of my blood work, I did not do it yet, I was busy as you know, plus having the family is was not easy, it looks like I got used to the fact that I am alone and have no family obligations : ) : ) : ). Val, that is good news that your husband will be around during ovulation, I wish you the best. Oh, by the way ladies, I will be out of town for 2 weeks next week, I will be checking on you from there. Ok ladies, got to go , I have a sick husband at home, high fever and you know what that suppose to mean, full commitment : ) : ). Talk to you latter. HUGSSSSSSSSSSS

Hello Girls : ) Great : ) Everyone is doing fine. VAL, sorry to hear af showed up. It means a new hope has just began : ) Re : Clomid/ov meds, my ob/gynae gave it to us straight when we last discussed it. The possiblities of multiple conception, ovarian enlargement and the side effects etc. I second you on that for ovarian enlargement thing ... yikee : ( My ob/gynae suggested if she puts me on ov meds, first cycle would most likely be clomid too 50mg per day and day 1 - 5(when af is officially over) for induction and to shorten my cycle. Plus she'll u/s monitor me begining cd12 to 22, first 5 days will be done on alternate days and next 5 would be base on diagnoses from the first 5 days if /or when ov occurs, sounded serious to us. Dh freaked, he said looks as if we were going into a "state of emergency". (M/c last Aug ... we went in for a u/s every other day, freaked him) I hate having those u/s ... yak : ( I'm not sure if it's standard for everyone but that's from my doc. VAL, pls keep me updated, I excited and nervous at the same time ... thinking I'm going to start treatment soon. I've been forgetting to ask you this ... can you ride a horse, wellll, you have a farm and farm animals : ) COL, I did went cold turkey twice, once 2 years back and second time in July05 when I found out I was pg but I failed. hiya! Nothing new to report here. I'm starting the clomid again tonight. Oops, I just saw your comment (Sann :-) about starting a new thread. Maybe I'll do that tomorrow? It's not loading slowly or anything for me so I hadn't really thought about it! Re: farm/horse - we don't have horses (although I'd love one!) but I do know how to ride. I used to do English riding and jumping when I was a kid. Actually (now don't laugh) lhe last time I was on a horse was right around when I conceived last year! Kind of weird huh? Speaking of the farm, I have to go collect eggs and feed my chickens. Then I have to gather up 2 of my kittens - I finally found homes for them so I'm taking them away from their momma today. Kind of sad, but it will be nice to have fewer kittens running around! COL, hope you are doing well today. Good luck with that sick dh! gotta go...

Hi VAL : ) So great to hear from you : ) I was feeling so alone w/o the both of you here with me : ( Anyway ... tested this morning, hpt -ve but my temp went up further (99.1F) Well, I assume it's af and not IB, so 9cd today. I know what I said .. resting cycle, not hoping and 6th sense. Guess I'm just kidding myself, inevitably I know deep down, I would be disppointed but strange I'm actually not upset. Back to my 6th sense ... it's telling me test again : ) Well ... maybe just my mind going "screwy" again : ( Not sure if you read my posts back at the "Pg over35" board, I've been "speaking" to Perl and Tryingx3 about IB, 6th sense and "The Pg look". An elderly neighbour(I barely know and barely see) she thinks I'm pg just from looking at me. Weird isn't it ... someone I barely know and see telling me that you're pg, yikeeee! Sann, those temps sound pretty high for cd9! It's all very curious, especially the random people thinking you are pg, and your own "6th sense".
Have you called your doctor again recently? Maybe they can do a blood test? I probably wouldn't call riding a "talent", especially since I haven't done it much in the past 20 years! But it was a fun hobby. I also paint/draw, although I haven't don't much of that recently. I keep thinking I should get back into it more seriously. I need to start bringing in some more income, especially during the summers. My temp was slightly high this morning, but it's most likely because I took it about 30 minutes later than usual. I've noticed that it goes up about .1 for every 15 minutes or so later. I'd better get going... have a good day!

whoops, I forgot to say that I didn't call the doctor. I'm probably going to try him tomorrow. I figure it's probably too late for this cycle, (since I've started the clomid again), but if I have to take clomid another cycle, I'd like to know why he doesn't do more monitoring.

Sann, the high temp sounds very interesting, as Val said; it’s too high for CD 9. But again, lots of factors can influence the temps. If I were you, I would wait and see if the temp sty up and test again. Good luck. Val, wish you the best with your new clomid patch, hope it will work for you. As for me, today I have a Lap job to be done; it’s for my annual physical. My ND stated that I am over stressed, which is not good at all. Not good for TTC, and not good for overall health. I am trying to take it easy, but I have millions of things to take care of. You know what girls, I am so upset with myself, I feel I am angry with god, and I feel guilty about that, and this is something adding to my misery those days. I don’t know what do about it. I am not going to start this. TTYL..
