Hi Toni. My problem is PCOS (cists on my ovaries). My doc saw some stuff in my hsg that suggested I may have some endo too (scaring in the tubes). My doc has not suggested injectibles. He said if this doesn't work in a couple more cycles he would recommend surgery. Since I'm not willing to do any surgery, I will be done ttc at that point. How are you feeling, girl! Just because I'm having bad luck does not mean I am not soooo happy for you!!!! :o)

Well, I just looked on my fertility friend charts, and looked at the historical charts. I figured out that when I'm on the meds af starts on 17 dpo, so instead of being late, I'm actually early. I'm expecting af tomorrow. Still feel like af is coming, and temps are right at coverline. Not spotting today, though, so that is different. Still, on a normal month, I will spot one day, then none the next, then the following day af will start, so it could be that.

Hey Kelly. Had a sono today and saw the heartbeat! Everything is going really well and I was SO relieved!!! If it's not too personal, why won't you have the surgery? It might be the magic trick.

Hi Toni! That's so awesome you finally saw the heartbeat!!!!! That sounds so neat. What did it look like? Was it really small on the screen? Well, af arrived for me this month. Dh and I did a lot of talking this weekend. We decided to go through one more IUI session, so we are on for this month. I have to call the doc today and tell him the news. No surgery for me partly because of $$$ and partly because I simply am not willing to go that far. Going to the doc once a week and then three times a week the week of the IUI is taking its toll. I feel more like a lab rat than a person anymore. As I'm sure you know, its a huge sacrifice to get pg this way - giving up all the foods you love, not drinking, taking all the meds that mess with your system, multiple doctor visits, etc. I even put on about 20 pounds because I heard that extra weight helps skinny people like me. I will have to live vicariously through the wonderful women I know that are pg. And I get to be the "fun aunt" when it comes to family life too. I really do have a lot, so I'm not going to dwell on the things I can't have. I'll still be here for at least another month, though.

Well, since af came yesterday, dh and I went out for margarita therapy last night with mexican food. That did the trick, and I'm back at the ttc today! I've got a doctor's appt this afternoon, so hopefully I can talk to him about my options a bit. I'll also find out when my IUI will be scheduled, so that will be something to look forward to. When is your next sono? Will you be able to see some features next time. Those little beans grow so fast once everything gets started! I can't wait to hear about it!

Kelly a margarita sounds awesome! I think we you can't have something, you crave it more! Now you had an HSG right? I don't know when my next sono will be. I am meeting with a new ob tomorrow (I just got "released" from my RE). My old ob doesn't deliver babies anymore. Let me know what you are gonna try different this time.

Good luck today with the new OB today! Let me know what the schedule is. BTW, when is your due date? Well, I went and saw the doc yesterday. He decided to up my dosage of the clomid to 150. Then we scheduled the IUIs for next thursday and friday. Hope your new ob is a good one! I'm really picky about those people. Some are more 'gentle' than others. When I first had trouble ttc, I first went to this one ob, who was going to simply give me an HSG and let me keep trying for another year or so - CRAZY!! Needless to say, that was my one and only visit to that one. Let me know how it goes.

Hi Kelly, the new ob was great. I decided to go with her. I am having a sono next Friday. Then after that I am having an ultra screen instead of the amnio. That is a sono, blood work and history factored together. Wow, your next cycle is already off and running. Were you on 100 mg this time? You know even when your pregnant it is still all about the waiting! Which I cannot do! Hope you have some fun plans for the weekend!

The new doc sounds great! Can't wait to hear about your sono this Friday. That should be really neat! My last day of clomid was yesterday, and I'm scheduled for IUIs on Thursday and Friday.

Kelly I am excited for your next round! Let me know what size follicles you have etc. Are you doing a trigger shot? Are you ready for the 2ww?
Hi Toni! Yes, I'm getting the hcg shot. Hate that thing! I'll never be ready for the 2ww, though!;o) I'm not going to do things I normally do, though - sit around home and wait. I'm going to keep myself busy, and exercise as much as I want. No more putting my life on hold for the 2ww!

Kelly, that is a great attitude for the 2ww. At least you have Thanksgiving to take up part of it. Do you travel for that? Sorry it took me so long to post. We went "camping" this weekend. Had to watch others have the mimosas and beers! Had a sono on Friday. The baby is about 2 cm. and doing great.

Hey Toni! The camping sounds awesome. I actually went hiking and caving this Saturday. I love caving, and have been putting it off too much lately ttc, so this time I decided I was going to go anyway. I was careful not to fall or bang myself around too much just in case. I am 3 dpo/dpiui now. My first IUI last Thursday was horrible. The doc had to 'straighten' my cervix which was really painful. The next day, Friday, the IUI went more smothly than any of them. Last month the doc had to straighten my cervix too, and I stopped bleeding from it by the end of the day. This time, I'm still spotting which is wierd. This morning something that looked like ewcm came out too, so that's wierd too. Sure hope things didn't get too messed up in there. Are you still taking the progesterone? Two centemeters sounds awesome! Could you see any features yet?

Hey Kelly, the camping was fun for the kids. I actually got a little bored. Caving sounds interesting!! Wow!! Straightening out your cervix??? That sounds painful! Sounds like you had some "leftover" ewcm? That would be my guess. At the sono we saw are and leg buds and we saw "him/her" move! So cool. I am still on the prog. till Dec. 14. Can't wait to stop the vaginal supps!! Right now I am fighting some very fun constipation from all the hormones! I am so hoping this is your month!!!!!!

Hi Toni. Sorry I have not responded. I've been out for the holiday. Just back today. No news for me today. I have some symptoms of af comming. Should be here this weekend. How are you feeling these days? Are you still teaching dance while pg?
Kelly, are you sure it's af? Some signs can be the same. Did you test? I feel tired and really moody!!!! I am still teaching dance. I did all the way with my other two. I am getting dance aides to do the hard demonstration parts next semester. It's a pretty funny sight to see when you are way out there!! did you go anywhere fun for the holiday?
