hi, i am thinking of taking clomid to ovulate. i was on depo for 2 yrs and just got my period back. is it safe to use or do you have to get permission from doctor before use or do people just take it for more of a chance to getting pregnant.

Please only use it under dr's supervision. You can hyperstimulate your ovaries and get cysts. When you take clomid you should be having bloodwork and sonos. I am amazed that so many will take it without a rx. But I have heard it's safe to take for up to 6 months. Hope this helps. Do you think you are not ovulating? My dr said that sometimes in women that are ovulating it can actually keep you from ovulating.
