Can someone confirm this for me?
My OB has prescribed me Clomid - days 3-7 - 100mg. We have no explanation for my infertility. Hubby has been tested and he has a high sperm count and motility is good. My periods have been semi-irregular so I've had to take Provera to bring them on.
My OB wants me to do three rounds of Clomid - monitored with an US on day 11 to check for O - and if no BFP then she wants to add a trigger shot.
So.....does anyone know.....does a trigger shot increase my chance for multiples? This worries me. I was hesitant to go on a higher dose than the normal 50mg of Clomid but my OB assured me that twins are actually fairly rare on Clomid.
But the way I understood it, the trigger shot would force me to ovulate any follicles which could, I think, mean multiples? Am I right?
