First Time Clomid User - 50mg

I'm excited and scared at the same time about starting my first clomid cycle. Today is cd6 aka day 2 of taking clomid. I'm scared b/c of the possibility of twins.. both of my sisters have twins and although they are so wonderful they are also exhausting.. We are actually one set of the twins now. They are 2 1/2 years old and a hand full! I love them to death though.. but it would be a lot to take on and I would prefer to have one to spoil at first! Does anyone have success stories to share about taking clomid or does anyone wanna be my crazy clomid buddy? haha.. :)

hi lily I am new here so trying to fig out how to find thread took a bit. I tried to click into the link from my email but it took me to a different site! So its 9.30am here and Im going to the gym to a class and when I return Im going to take my first clomid... am really anxious/excited. I had ultra sound and bloods done to test for pcos and both came back neg but my consultant is determined I have a touch of pco and thats why my cycles are so irreg and long.. according to CBFM and ewcm/pains, I am ovulating on my own but I think its too late in my cycle or maybe the eggs are nt mature enough or something.. I am 30 and dh is 32. How about you? What did your doc say about clomid? I too and nervous about the possibility of multiples!

It sounds like we have been through the same processes so far and I'm just a few days ahead of you on the Clomid trial! :) I hope it works for both of us! I like you don't have pcos and I too ovulate just usually a little late around cd19. I'm 26 and DH is 29, we have both been checked and the results came back great. So not sure what the real issue is... My doctor didn't really say much about Clomid other than that it's working. As far as multiples go he said theres about a 6-8% with 50mg of Clomid and each 50mg it's increased about 5%. So for 100mg it would go up to about 13%. I'm going to try and stay on 50mg and hope that it works for us! I go back next Wednesday and I can't wait to hear good news! haha.. :) When do you go to the doctor next?
