Do you even need to be on clomid in order to conceive or should the metformin be enough? I remember my doctor first started me on metformin and thought that that should be enough and I had my periods regularly, but then I stopped having my period so she put me on the birth control too. So do you need to take clomid? I thought the metformin would be enough.

Hi Joan! I'm not sure what Metamorphin does (sorry!), but this is my first month taking clomid, and I know what it does. Clomid makes you ovulate by over stimulating your ovaries. Sometimes the over stimulation can produce more than one egg for ovulation. Does metamorphin help with ovulation too, or is it for something different?? -kelly
