i was diagnosed with PCOS and i was put on metformin medication. i haven't started taking it yet since i've heard rumors that women can get pregnant in this medication. how true is this?

metformin is used to treat women with PCOS and it is very common to get pregnant within a couple months of taking it. i have a friend who was taking it for a month ended up with unplanned pregnancy. so yes it's true!!!

you can take protection to avoid pregnancy while on metformin medication.ask your doctor if this is possible.
