I am starting clomid this cycle and wanted to know who does it work if you don't have normal cycles? Also how many times do you need to use Clomid? and What complications could I face due to my PCOS (Poly-cyctic ovarian syndrom)?

I will start my second cycle of clomid in two days. My periods were not regular and were kind of short before Clomid. My period started today after my first cycle of clomid, today would have been cycle day 30. I've read that Clomid will help to regulate irregular cycles. I've also read that the majority of people who get pregnant while using Clomid do so in the first 1-4 cycles, however I know someone who got pregnant after a year on Clomid. I don't ahve pcos, so I'm not sure about that.

I started clomid this month too. I also have PCOS. Hopefully it will work for all of us. I am on CD 18. I haven't really had any side effects; I am cramping today though. Don't know if it is from that or not.
