This forum is so inspiring...I have been trying for #2 for more than a year now and no success and had my HSG done some 2 weeks back.Not sure what is gonna happen towards the end of this month :(( Actually my question was I read many of the forums where some of them said " got pregnant after 4 days of HSG!!!" how did you find out that u were preg after just 4 days? Were you testing after 4 days or its after the pregnancy was confirmed you say this as per the conception date ?? I am so confused...the wait to get pregnant is totally frustrating and with nuthing wrong I duno how long it is still going to take :"( Please helpppp

I had my HSG done the day before my menstrual and my husband was out of town for that month so I had to wait until he returned to try and that was like a month later. So when my menstrual did come and my ovulation days came we tried and about 2 weeks later I was pregnant.

Hello everyone, My fiance and I have been ttc for over 2 and a half years now. I have very irregular periods and have been taking progesterones for 6 months now. I am only 22 and I have a 4 year old daughter. been irregular all of my life my first daughter I believed to be a meracle. I recently got a HSG done on the 13of March, took some tylenol before hand, was a very uncomfortable experience but not so bad, at least until 6-7 hours after felt like nonstop labor pains and was sore for a couple of days. anyway, we started ttc immediately,(with promission from my doctor) hoping for baby dust. I heard alot of success stories on here about the women who concieved within the same month congrats to all! Staying hopeful taking a test in about a week will update then. My doctor said that our next step will be clomid is there anyone who have taken it if so did you have any success?Good luck everyone!

Hi all positive ladies...I had HSG April 28 2011(8th day after last af
).Dint have any ovulation symptoms so far, but bd every other day not to miss any, has watery discharge around 17 or 18th day.
today is day 29 after last af .Can Someone who conceived after hsg and dint have any symptoms share their views?I normally have a cycle around 35 days .

day 38 ... periods ... hmmm ..
but i took lot of stress the previous day and then it came ...
some days before AF i had mild cramps which gave me a hope that the month was mine ... dont know whether its because of the [physical strain ...
I dont know whether I conceived and lost or Its normal periods ..
anyways i ve started with letrozole and scheduled for hormone tests and hcg injection this month...I am sure this is gonna be my month ..

Hello everyone :) I'm new here so forgive me for buting in.
I'm 27 DH is 33; we have been ttc for over a year. My gyn who is the best suggsted we keep trying & if nothing happens she will than refere us to FS, well that was in february 2010! So as awesome as she maybe I'm a little ticked off with her. I recently got a new Gyn who I basically explained my fears & worries to, she gave me a referral for a FS! I was ecstatic! I'm scared/overwhelmed/anxious and petrified! I've been waiting for this for so long now I'm terrified of what they may find. I told my gyn that I want the dye test (HSG) she told me don't tell the specialist that/ don't bring FS things I've learned from the Internet! I'm confused. Why not?! That's the test that I've prayed and cried about .

I'm hoping things don't turn out too bad, I've prayed on it. We are fortunate we have health insurance but it doesn't cover IVF or any related treatment but it does however cover fertility testing to determine infertility. So I still feel very blessed and when I go for my first visit to see the FS if IVF is recommended we'd have to finance it. I just need to know why we aren't conceiving. We just want to know what are next step should be? We feel lost almost alone. Until I started to read some of these forums some gave me tremendous hope while others just flushed my hopes & dreams down the toilet. So I joined this one because I felt like I belonged.

I had HSG 2 weeks ago today - been 'at it like rabbits' with DH he loves it loL! Wondering if i will fall pregnant though, I have been trying for several years so seems highly unlikely. I am dying to take a pregnancy test? Do you think I should just wait or would I be okay to take one? Im sooooo in-patient...

Hi Ladies,
I just had my hsg this morning. My right tube is completely blocked, but the doc managed to push the dye through my left tube. I'm really eager to start "trying" right away with my husband. My doctor told me that in the last 9 months, 9 patients have concieved after the hsg dye test. Fingers crossed!

How long have you been TTC? Well at least you have one decent tube thats good to know. I had my HSG 2 weeks ago and really excited about things but its all a waiting game. Yeh my gynae said that he will see me in 8 weeks time if ive not already concieved on my own but he made it sound and if i won't be going back but i hate that, what if it doesn't happen.....hes given me false hopes.

We've been trying since February 2010... So 16 months. I have 2 daughters from my previous marriage, so I was really surprised when we decided to try that it was so difficult. I was sort of relieved when I seen my right tube completed blocked and the left tube required quite a bit of pressure to push the dry through. If my hsg test had come back fine, I would still have no idea what the problem is. I'm really hoping that after "unclogging" the left tube, we will have some success. Every month when I start to menstrate, I am Soooo emotional.

Gwenie1981 : I have read in lot of forums about women getting pregg with only one tube open .. and u have got preg before .. so u have a good chance ... Wishing you lots of luck and lots of baby dust ...
Josie .. what CD day did u have your HSG ??
btw .. me and hubby ttc for two years
.. june 24 ... my third cycle after HSG starts ... I belive i conceived the same month itslelf and lost ..( might be just my belief .. i took lot of stree and physcl strain on CD 38 and got AF right away )... 2nd ,month with IUI ... doctor had asked us to BD the next day after IUI , but i was so tired that it all ended up as " just for a formality "... :)
Going to see the doctor now ..CD 2 ( from India .. its 8:51 AM now ) ...
Hope some good thing happens this month ...
