Has anyone had a tubal ligation reversal and had to have a HSG done and got pregnant? I have my surgery April 2005 and had no success yet.

I had my reversal done last year. I waited for 11 months before getting the hsg and got pregnant 4 days later.

Hello, all. Thank you all for thinking of me and asking about me. I am sorry that I haven't posted in awhile. Things are actually going great here. I am in my 11th week of my pregnancy now...only two more weeks to go and I will be through my first trimester already. I have been nauseated off and on but, other than that, I am doing fine. Hopefully I will continue to do fine. My due date is January 11th. The HSG is what finally got me pregnant! Baby dust to all of you. I will try and update more often! Hi everyone please i need u pples advice if any has same undergone this kind of problem am putting down now to help out. My friend's marriage is about hiting rock becos of no child. they ve been TTC for the past 2yrs and having gone for medical examinations they found out after HSG that the lady's both tubes are block and the husband's medical records proved ok and for that reason, the husband is asking her to leave his house that he is bringing in another woman as a second wife. For now that my friend needs you peoples encouragement can anyone who must have been in this situation of blocked tubes give me some measures to helping her situation. Goodluck to everyone.

Thanks Albertagirl for ypur positive info. I too also had a tubal reversal about 13 months ago and nothing yet. I am going in next week for an HSG. Wish me luck.

Hey Katesylver! I'm so sorry that your friends husband is not being very supportive. My tubes were blocked and I haven't been able to conceive for 14 years. However, I went to a facility called Clear Passage (www.clearpassage.com) and now I'm completely clear!! They have developed a special type of massage therapy that breaks adhesions that cause blockage.They are a wonderful group of people who not only help you physically but they also help you emotionally. Stress can cause us
problems and delay our chances of pregnancy. My tubes were a problem but I was also broken emotionally and that is definately a recipe for disaster.

sheylahh, thanks very much for ur kind advice and d encouragement i am about going to that site and will convey it to her is just that the husband is not helping matters at all he is seeking for court divorce and he is a pharmacist for that matter. I am grateful for ur efforts and wish u all the best and me i ve equally been TTC for the past 2yrs as well have done my HSG and my tubes were clear but my husband's record is not too ok and i ve not decided to put him aside besides my husband is a born agian and we believe God has spear parts to our bodies and will open every doors shut. Baby dust to all.

Yes, I became pg after I had HSG. I was told that one of my fallopian tube blocked, but 2 monthes after the test I got pregnant. I heard the HSG test also might clear the blockage of the tube.

my hsg showed I still have 1 blocked tube but I know the other was cleared during the test. As painful as the test was I would send all my friends. Without it I know I never would have gotten pregnant.

had hsg on 6/21. One tube blocked, but doctor didn't seem concerned. Had the HSG during laparoscopy. Doctor found a fibroid and Endo, but opted not to take out. Has any one had this happen to them? Any way, bbd on 6/23- you never know!

YES! My beautiful, healthy 3 year old girl is an HSG baby! She was conceived 9 days post test. We had been trying a year before w/no luck. I am getting a second HSG next week, since we have been trying to conceive #2 for a year now! So frustrating, I thought we wouldn't have the same problems, but we are. i do have faith, though. The HSG procedure certainly helped me the first time!
BABS--I've been following your thread...it is a mirror of my pregnancy! With Abbey, at 7 weeks, I had to start progesterone, too. Rest assured- as I stated before, she is a beautiful healthy toddler now!

Thanks everybody for all of your support and info. I went for my HSG yesterday. I was very nervious and asked lots of questions. It was not very painful of course I also took 2 advil before the exam. I found out that I only have one good tube on my left side. My right side is not good. The Dr said i could get pregnant with only one good tube. If any body has any reasuring words for getting preg with only one good tube, i'd really aprecciate the good news. because im still very nervous and uncertain of what are the odds of getting pregnant. Again id like to say thanks to all for getting me through this with your kind words.

my doc told me it was no problem to only have one working tube. I had my lap. & HSG 3 days ago now, the incision below my belly button really hurts! This is normal, though- and worth it!

i GOT PREGNANT AFTER HSG BUT MISCARRIED. I AM HOPING I CAN HAVE ANOTHER AND SEE IF I CAN GET PREGNANT AGAIN.

melissa, i am very sorry. How long after you conception did you miscarry? Hopefully after another HSG you'll concieve again and have a beautiful healthy baby- it has definatley been done before :) We all wish you baby dust sweetie!
