I am going through a very similar situation. I started clomid this month. I know I ovulated on the 28th and now today is my first day of my missed period and I got a negative HPT. We have been trying for 14 months with one miscarriage. i am really starting to get discouraged I don't understand why it is this hard to get pregnant. I have not started my period, and do not feel it coming on. I have been very queesy for about 10 days, but other than that have not had any symptoms. I think I am going to go ask my dr. for a blood test tomorrow. It sure stinks going through this, but it is very comforting knowing others are going through similar situations. I will keep you in my thoughts. Good luck!

I wanted to join in here. I'm on my first round of Clomid and was going crazy the past few days. I didn't do a blood test but my BBT chart showed that I ovulated (CD15). I never got a positive ovulation kit test, but they did get darker around then. 6 days after ovulation I had sore breasts which I've NEVER experienced as a PMS sign so I thought I was definitely pregnant. 11 days past ovulation my temperature dropped and on the 12th day it plummeted super low. It bounced back a little on 13dpo and was even higher today on 14 dpo. Starting on the 12th day past ovulation I was spotting. I kept hoping it was early pregnancy bleeding and it came and went until this morning and was definitely AF.

I'm glad I don't have to lose more time waiting then using provera, but of course I'm now worried that Clomid thinned out my lining or that I may have a luteal phase problem also with my temp dropping so soon. It doesn't help that my temp chart also looks like I could have ovulated 2 days sooner, which throws all the timing into a different light. I had no normal ovulating charts to compare it to so I just have to wonder and give it another go.
I'm terrified that if I ovulate again and don't get pregnant that I'm not going to get pregnant ever. It just seems that everyone gets pregnant on their first or second ovulating round of Clomid. Anyone else worrying like that?

I am new to this forum but this is the only one I found that resembles the same issues I am having. I had my last AF January 8 got took an ovulation test on the 17th that showed a darker test line than control. 18th test showed the test line was the same as the control line or just a Tad lighter it was hard to tell on the 19th it was definitely lighter. On the 30th it felt like I was going to get AF. Cramping lower back pain an symptoms continued till February 3rd then stopped. It was just like I had AF minus the bleeding. Took several hpts n all are negative. I have some pregnancy symptoms but not many. I have had 3 pregnancies and none of them did I get a negative result infraction I got positive before I missed AF n didn't have very many symptoms w those pregnancies. I have also never been more than a couple days late. I have an appt on the 19 so we will see my DH and I are keeping our fingers crossed. Has anyone else had this happen? I don't understand how I could have ovulated not had a period but feel like I did n not be pregnant. I am not under any stress either?

Hi everyone I am new to this forum. I too am on Clomid, and Provera. After stopping BCP I had only had 3 cycles in a year, my doctor put me on Provera (10days) to jump start my cycle and it did on Jan 17th. My doctor also put me on 50mg of Clomid. When I last saw her she said that my BBT chart looks like I defiantly ovulated, so I was very excited! Well since then my BBT chart is very wacky my temps are up and down, and this makes me think that I didnt ovulate. My doctor didnt run any blood work or anything, so she just went by my temp. Anyways I am now on CD33 and still no AF , I have taken HPT and they were BFN. I am very irritated, frustrated and just wanna cry....it seems like every little thing sets me off! LOL I have no sore boobs or spotting or anything. So thats the jist of my back ground, now to my question,...... When you are having to take Provera to jump start your cycle, does this mean that you did not ovulate?? And if not then is it possible to get pregnant while taking Provera and Clomid? I am starting round 2 of Provera and Clomid now.

Hi everbody, I hate when I am following stories and get no update so let me not do the same. I do wish I could report some good news but I am still not pregnant. I am planning to change my gynaecologist as I do not think she is making me a priority case or it could be that after seven years of going to her she has lost hope. I will give you further update but I am sure we will be pregnant before 2011. Baby dust and more baby dust to us all.

Hi ladies,
I wanted to give an update on me since I have some wonderful news!
We found out Saturday that we are pregnant! :) I'm sort of in shock and it feels surreal. Two positive pregnancy tests (dpo 13 for both) and then a blood draw today to confirm. I'm 4 1/2 weeks along now.
I conceived on my 2nd Clomid cycle of 100mg days 5-9 and also took Metformin. My progesterone number on day 23 was almost 24 and it apparently was good enough for me. We also were intimate for 6 days prior to ovulation. I charted my temp this month (for the first time) and I HIGHLY recommend doing that. I used fertilityfriend.com and it's amazing. Let's you chart all your symptoms and even reads your chart for you.
Don't give up everyone! It took 5 cycles to get pregnant with my first and only 2 this time........you'll get there :)

Oh and I forgot to say that I had a negative hpt on dpo 10, definitely it was too early. So, when in doubt, wait it out! I tested positive on dpo 13 which was one day before my period was supposed to start.

Congratulations Craiganddi, I have a strong feeling this will be my year as well. Let's hope you have scattered your baby dust in this forum. Have a safe and enjoyable pregnancy and delivery and do remember to keep us posted.

Hi Kelly. I've just signed up to this forum myself. I dont know if you're still using this site. I'm on the 5th month of taking 50mg clomid and I'm 11 days late . I've done 2 hpt and not pregnant...... I dont know whats going on. I was 28/29 days for the other 4 months. Can anyone give me advise on this? Should I be this late taking clomid? Thanks.

serssie - April 17

Fountain.....I have been experiencing the same thing. I had my last aunt flow on March 10 then took clomid on day five and I have not had another AF. I have done two HPT and they are both negative. I wish I could get some answers as to what is happening. I will visit my doctor by next weekend if AF does not return. Let me hope we are both pregnant.

Thanks serssie..... I have been taking clomid for 5 months and each month was on day 2-6. I'm finding everyone I speak to is on different days etc. I'm still waiting on my cycle and so frustrated. I have a 10 year old (I'm only 30) and I also have PCOS. Cant understand why I'm late when on the clomid. I actually look pregnant. Very bloated and have a few cramps. Fingers crossed girl that another test will give a possitive :)

fountain - April 18

By the way, my last was 10th March aswell. If it doesnt come along by This Tuesday 20th which will be 2 weeks I'll do another hpt. I'll keep you posted. Best of luck to you too and keep me posted

Fountain...we have so much in common. I am 30 as well and I have a 13 year old son. I was also diagnosed with PCOS and of course after clomid I am now feeling pregnant like you. I will be going to the doctor on Thursday of this week and if the test says negative I will get a blood test done. I look forward to your update and I wish for us best of luck. Keep me posted.

serssie, thats unreal the way we both have the exact problem. I'm not feeling too good this morning. Have been very restless in bed the last two nights with jumpy legs. Having to get up and have a cup of tea in the early hours of the morning etc. You still seem very positive were I'm not so sure anymore. How long are you on clomid?
