Late Ovulation

We have been ttc for 9 months with no luck yet. My husband's sperm count is good, not great, according to my doctor. They are waiting for my period to begin again before running some blood work on me, but my doctor doesn't think I'm ovulating b/c my cycles are so long-I however have been tracking temps and think that I'm ovulating around day 33-is this late ovulation concerning...is it okay to get pregnant with later than "normal" ovulation patterns?

Same here.... I think I ovulate really late too. After going off BC pills, my periods come on average every 45 days. What is the average time between O and AF?

I believe it's typically 12-14 days

Kerri, did you get any clarification? i am in the same situation

I have always had irregular cylces and tended to have them anywhere from 30-45 days. I questioned whether I ovulated and taking my temp wasn't the clearest method for me. I went to an RE starting in Jan. and I've been on Clomid to induce my ovulation around day 14...for me it's working well so far...I'll find out tomorrow if I'm pregnant

I still don't know if getting pregnant with late ovulation is a factor in a healthy pregnancy. According to my temps I DID ovulate this month and I'm in the waiting phase-but I don't know if it is truely ovulation at day 33 or what? Clomid was suggested, to regulate my cycle, after they run blood tests to analyze hormone levels---but I have to start my cycle over again first. I'm glad Clomid is working well for you Kelly--I hope that it's a success :)
