HOW LONG UNTIL I HAVE A NORMAL CYCLE

I have been off the pill since the beginning of March and had one period at the end of April. My period is now again late. HPT was negative just like the past 2 tests. How long should it take to have normal cycle after getting off the pill? I was on Triphasil.

Hi Karen! I came off of triphasil in January (was on it for 5 years) I had my first peroid after 49 days and my second period came today - 89 days after my last one! it SUCKS! I have an appt with an ob/gyn on Monday to see what's going on so if I find out anything, I'll let you know!

Not to discourage you but I went off birth control (ortho-tricylen) in Aug. after 8 years. I haven't had a normal period since then and it has been almost a year. My doctor told me to chart my basal temp which I have been doing since March. It is showing that I am not ovulating. I am going back to doctor at the end of June.

I feel so much better at least I know I am not the only one, I have been getting 2 periods every month since I came off the pill in Jan after 8 years, 1st one is always normal 2nd always light, I don't know what is going on...Best of Luck to you all!!!
