How old is too old for having a baby. I'm 40 and trying. Do you have the same experience?

Hi Tess. I'm newly pregnant at 39 after 2 IVF's and 2.5 years of trying and many treatments. See a specialist ASAP. Don't wait. It isn't easy at our age, despite what we hear in the media. We genetically tested our 9 eggs during IVF and only 3 were normal (which IS normal for our age.) If money is an issue, get a job with a company out of Massachusetts (we live in CO) b/c their coverage is the best. There is no way we could have afforded this on our own. Good luck. And if nothing works, may you find peace.
