Babymoon - thanks for the heads up with drinking with the metformin! I think I will only take my pill with lunch, not dinner and pace my drinks in case it ends up hitting me faster than usual!

O-BABY good luck on the metformin! Let me know if you have any side effects. What dosage did your doctor put you on?

O-BABY YAY!!! So happy for you that AF showed up!!! Can't wait until you start clomid! I'll be right behind you! Tomorrow is my last day of provera! And u take my clomid on cd3 to cd7 so we might end up having the exact same cycle if you're starting yours on day 5! Hopefully we get some good news together this month! Hoping that at least one of us on here gets pregnant really, really soon!!

Babymoon – did use opks but for 8 days and I think too early, according to my chart I ovulated day 25, VERY late, unless I ovulated earlier without temp shifts... but I don’t think so.
O-baby – I’ve only taken provera once and my af took almost 2 weeks to show... then it hardly lasted 2 days and was just spotting... am not a fan of provera... Let me know how the metformin goes... I would really like to try it. Very excited that AF showed for you, well mostly so you can start clomid again, hopefully your last af for 9 months ;-)
I have been feeling a bit crampy since yesterday and my temp dropped a bit this morning... am preparing myself for the worst as hopefully it makes things a bit easier if af does show... I think my doc said I must take clomid this time on days 2 – 6, does that sound a bit early to you?
Have a great day all.... I really was soooo tempted to call in sick and stay at home and play sims 3 instead of coming to work, really not in the mood. I feel like I need to relax a bit.

Obaby did you ever in your wildest dreams imagine you would be excited for af to show!!? Ahh the irony we go through ladies!
Hopefullysoon let me know how you go with lunchtime met, wonder if it makes a difference!?
Angel chin up, I know how you feel, I really don't think things are going to work for me this month, don't know why just don't but got to put 100% in anyway. Maybe cramps are something else, good luck though and hang in there! I'm hopeful it will be our month for one of us!
Well, 5 star hotel booked for Friday, now if opk pos would show up Friday too that would be perfect! Well as perfect as an April fools day can get I guess! Come on hormones!

Angel - don't worry about taking clomid on cd2, they say you can start it on any day from 2 to 5. Your dr. Is probably starting you earlier to try and make you ovulate earlier in your cycle. What days did you take it on last cycle?
Babymoon - have a relaxing night away on friday!! I think during this whole process it's nice to get away, helps distract you a bit and relax :) good luck this month!!
Yay! Today is my last day of provera!!! And I had very, very light spotting last night so I'm hoping tomorrow ( my first day without provera) that AF will show so we can get on with this already!!!

So I decided to weigh myself this morning, and I was nervous because I've cheated with my eating over the past few days, and I'm a pound lighter! Not sure if that's because of the metformin or not, but I'm not complaining lol! Now in total I'm only 6 lbs heavier than our wedding 6 months ago, instead of 9! So I'm quite happy! If it is from the metformin, I'm hoping it continues!

Hopeullysoon
Well done! Here's hoping the metformin is kicking in and your body is processing insulin again!!
I've been eating really bad since hubby went away, might leave it a week now he is back before I weigh myself!!
No news here :( my faint line has disappeared from the opks, I'm starting to think maybe I o'd while my husband was os! :( see what happens in the next few days I guess!

babymoon - What cycle day are you on? I'm sure you didn't miss it! I find during my testing on opk's that my faint line comes and goes. It doesn't really matter if there is a line or it's just faint either way it's negative. I'm sure your positive is still on it's way and you didn't miss it!! :)
I always hate the time of this process though because I always WAY over analyze my opk's, but I can't help it!

Good morning!
Hopefullysoon – Well done hopefullysoon ? Its great if it is the metformin... makes me wanna use it too! Been 2 days on my dieticians diet now but still not weight loss... think its a bit too soon... lol. I took my clomid days 6 - 10 last cycle, because I saw my doc on cd6 so he decided to start me right away instead of wait a month. So then saw him cd22 and had not ovulated so guess he wants to try it earlier next time. Really hope AF starts for you today!
Babymoon – don’t worry about the opk’s, I never even saw a line for 8 days but still somehow ovulated, much later though but then clomid can do that. Also maybe try opk’s afternoon and evenings. Seems like you can get a positive in the evening but not afternoon.
Have a great day everyone!

hopefullysoon- YAY! for your last day on Provera!! And yeah with you taking Clomid on days 3-7 and I taking it on 5-9.....we will be right together on this cycle this month! That is pretty neat! And that is also good news about losing weight, that gives me high hopes!!
Angel- I know what you mean, taking Provera STINKS!!! lol And the wait for AF just plain SUCKS!! haha! But seriously, thank you! I hope that this is the last time I have to take Provera also!
Did your Doc tell you why he wants you to take Clomid on cd2-6? Just wondering, I have just never heard of taking it on days 2-6.
Babymoon- No, definitely NOT! I never in my wildest dreams thought I would be so happy for AF to show! I am more than happy to see it show these days :)
And I hope that you get your postive OPK and that this is your month!!
I am actually a little ticked off to tell ya the truth. The nurse was supposed to have my prescription of Metformin called in Monday afternoon, well needless to say she didn't! So today when I went to pick it up...to my surprise it hadn't even been called in!!! GRRRRRRR!!!!! But, on a good note....
AF showed Monday and on friday I will be starting 3rd round of Clomid! And hopefully I will be able to start Metformin tomorrow! Not sure what my dosage is...I know that sounds so weird, but I didn't have to go in for an appointment to get it, they just called it in (WAS SUPPOSED TO)! So tomorrow I will know the dosage :)

O-baby – I think perhaps because I only seem to have ovulated after cd22 he wants me to take it from day 2, took it from day 6 last time... so maybe it will bring my ovulation earlier by 4 days or so, don’t know if that will help with the luteal phase also? I hope he didn’t say 3 and I heard 2... he never wrote it down for me... Cant believe they’ve not given you your metformin.. I would not be impressed!

So many of you have mentioned provera and metoformin. What do each of those drugs do?
Even though my fert. doctor has making a break from the treatment this month, I started my OPK tests last night. I am basing my cycle on what it was like while on clomid, 28 to 29 days, just in case my cycle is now regulated. Today is day 12. I don't expect to be regulated, but don't want to miss any open windows either...
The other day, one of the students in my last period class asked me if I was pregnant after I redirected her to stop interrupting me. I said no and she replied, "You look it in your stomach." At first I was kind of hurt, it stung, etc. But then I thought about it: this brat was just upset I corrected her! I take the same size clothes as I always have and they are not tighter in the least! I normally am not offended at all at the stuff my teens say because, well they are teens, but that comment stung at first on many levels. I put on a tough face though. I should have responded, "No, are you?"
