And yes I have my hsg test tomorrow. I'm a little nervous, but I know that it'll be worth it and I'm really hoping that it gives me positive results this month!

J-Rafih- Thank you, I am trying to stay positive this month :) And I wish you good luck with round of Clomid. Other than shortening AF, have you had any other side effects?
hopefullysoon- I bet you are nervous, I would be too....but you are right it will be worth it for sure. And I am sure that it won't be bad at all and it will be over before you know it :)

I went in, blood results.....I ovulated =) Now I will have to wait between the 13th and 15th to take a HPT! I am really hoping and praying for a positive test, as we all are :) I don't know if it is the hormones or if it is just me, but my body feels different! I am thinking it is just me though. Mumstheword has really given me reassurance that it can happen!!

Hello all. Just joined this. Im a newbee. My wife and I have been trying for years now and no success. My wife got pregnant at young age and we had to do an abortion. We tried the following year and had a m/c. So we were trying after that and no success. We are now in the beginning stage of clomid. My wife had to take provera first before the dr gives us the clomid. Im so excited. I WANNA BE A DADDY!

O-BABY - Yay for ovulating!! That part is half the battle, so glad you ovulated this month :) Now you know you have a shot at getting that positive test in the next few days! My fingers are crossed for you!
I went for my HSG test today. It wasn't to painful which I'm hoping means I didn't have a blockage. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't comfortable as the clamp your cervix which hurts but it just feels like extremley bad cramps. But the cramps ended as soon as the test was over which was only about 5 minutes long once they got started. I have an appt with my doctor in 2 weeks so I'll find out then if everything is okay. We start ttc conceive tomorrow and hopefully will get my positive ovulation test by Monday. We'll be starting with the pre-seed lubricant tomorrow as well, and I'm hoping that helps this month!
IWANNABEADADDY - I'm hoping that the clomid works for you and your wife! good luck and keep us posted!

As for me.....AF is supposed to be here between the 11th and 13th. Well I am really hoping it doesn't and that I am pregnant, but the wait is just awful!! lol I know you all understand the waiting process! STINKS!

Hopefullysoon- clamping the cervix sounds brutal, but I am glad it wasn't that bad for you.
As for me, I will know by the end of next weekend whether or not my IUI is successful. I am hoping, but don't expect success. Regardless, if I am not, just like every cycle, I will be deeply hurt :/

O-BABY have you taken a pregnancy test yet? Or are you waiting to see if AF comes first before you take one? I'm exciting for you! I'm thinking good thoughts!
Jac1019 - regardless if we all try not to get our hopes up it's always devastating when we find out our efforts didn't work that cycle :( but I'm staying positive for you and hoping your IUI works!
As for me I'm currently on cd13 and just waiting for my positive ov test, hopefully in the next couple days! Last month it was cd16! We've already started "trying" though, just to make sure we have our bases covered lol.

hopefullysoon- Nope, I haven't taken a HPT yet. I am waiting to see if AF makes an appearance first. AF didn't show today, so just a few short days to see if it will show.
It is good to have all your bases covered! lol I mean the way Clomid effects us different every month, it is really good to get an early start. Sending baby dust your way girl!! :) Hope this is your month! I mean one of us that have been trying for a while is bound to come up pregnant SOON, I hope!!! :)

popped on to see how you all, sounds like everythings moving in the right direction.
hopefully soon, glad you had the HSG done. thats one obsticle out the way at least. ive heard blocked tubes are uncommon, (usual in peaople who had an eptopic/scarring or std like chlomidia) but no harm in having them tested. got to cover all basis right? have a good feeling for you this time :)
o-baby.. you,ve got patience i,ll give you that. i would have tested by now if it was me. wouldnt be able to stop myself i,d be too exited. your doing the right thing tho. test when af is due or after for more accurate results. test before and chance of a dissapointing negative, when you could actualy be pregnant. fingers crossed.
jac1019....i,d say 25-30 percent are fab odds with IUI. did you know couples with no fertility problems have a less chance than that! what date will you be due for testing?
iwannabeadaddy....im sure you and you wife will have good news soon. after all you,ve concieved twice already. either of you got any underlying issues ie low sperm count/cycle issues/pcos? why clomid?
im now booked in with midwife. she takes dates from first day of last period,so has me down at being almost 5 weeks :) which gives me a due date of 15th nov.(will get more accurate dates after first scan) it seems ages away. i,ll just be be happy to reach week 12 as chances of m/c dramaticly dereases. i might start to relax a little then, ha.

mumstheword, seriously, thank you... I never thought of those statistics from that perspective. You sincerely made me pause and smile when I read that. I can test next weekend...
So, are you having pregnancy symptoms? If you are not, don't worry. I barely had any with my son. I think my only real symptom was a heightened sense of smell, which was so unpleasant at times considering I teach teenage boys. Before I started showing, there were times when I wondered if I was really pregnant, lol.

Well...I might not have that much patience after all... AF didn't come today...so I decided to take a HPT, negative! I got a little emotional as usual and almost cried! But...I thought to myself...it still might be too early, so I will wait a few more days and take another if AF doesn't show. I am now having small headaches that are rather uncomfortable along with small cramps and I am still having lower back pain. Not sure what to think as of right now.

O-BABY don't lose hope yet for this month, even though I know it's tough but you're right it could still be to soon to test and AF hasn't cone yet which is the main thing! So as hard as it may be try to think about the fact that AF isn't here! My fingers are crossed for you!!
As for me, I'm getting really impatient waiting for my positive ov test. I'm only on cd14 but I always get nervous around this time not knowing if the clomid will do it's job or not. It did it's job the first month at 50 but not the 2nd then the next month it did it's job at 100 but now this is my second month on 100 and hoping it will work and that I won't need to up my dosage again. Hoping I'll get a positive by Monday night or Tuesday morning (I test twice a day because I know the LH surge can be quite short).

jac1019...i have all the usual pregnancy symptons. tender boobs, occasional morning sickness, smells, slight cramping..lol. i took my test a little early because i had tenders boobs for around 4 days before hand which is unusual for me. i just felt "different".
O-BABY..my test line was so faint that you could hardly see it.i,m sure that if i,d have tested a day earlier that there wouldnt have been a line at all which may be whats happeded in your case? i,d wait a couple of days and test again. how do you feel? fingers crossed X
hopefullysoon...chin up..cd 14 is not so bad, cd,s 1,2,3,4, etc are the worst. your nearly half way through the entire cycle. i,m sure you,ll ovulate. and then tere,s only 2 weeks before you can take pt :) let us know how you get on x x x

I know you said that you are having all the usual symptoms, and you said that you just felt different.....can you describe what you mean by that? I hear a lot of women say that when they are pregnant, I just want to understand what you mean? lol I am sorry if that sounds silly.

o-baby... "different" not quite myself. in my own little world. it was like i had something on my mind, but not pregnancy? kinda hard to explain. i was very tired and generaly "not with it". dont think i could have raised a smile,let alone a laugh if someone told a joke,and thats not like me.My concentration levels dropped and i had a tedency to drift into a daydream. sounds odd i know, but like i said its hard to explain. suppose the tender boobs days before were a dead giveaway. it was the first sympton to present itself. the only time i "occasionaly" had that is the night before im due on. the worst part of all though is the tiredness. you know the feeling of waking up to an alarm clock?, i have that feeling all day :( and i cant wait till all you have the same too ,lol.

O-BABY any news to report yet? Has AF shown up or have you gotten a positive preg test back yet? I'm hoping that you have good news to share :)
I'm now on cd16 and still no positive ov test. I took a test this morning and this afternoon and their both negative. However I am starting to feel some slight cramping on my left side so I'm really hoping that means I'll get a positive tonight or tomorrow! Fingers crossed!
