kittymom: Yes! I've been on an estrogen pill twice a day, last month and this month for thinning uterine lining. I was confused right away too. I've felt no side effects of it. Hopefully it helps you out! GL!

Hi ladies I m back again with some sad news...I had completed my first round of clomid had a blood test which showed that i ovulated and my level pf progestrone was pretty good...SO FOR ME CLOMID SHOWS ITS MAGIC... After that I waited for my due date i.e. 27th jan 2013 as I knew about my PCOS & irregular periods so I was not sure about my periods arrival...I waited for 3 days ...And did a test it showed faint positive line..but not sure at all..my nipples were sore, lot of backaches then again I waited for 3 days and did it with clearblue digital one and it shows PREGNANT....I was happy to see that and wanted to tell my hubby on valentines day ...so i start planning a gift for him which shows the arrival of our baby...but nature had some other plans for me...After four days 7 days before valentines I started spotting and when i wipe it with tissue paper there was bleeding I called my hubby and ask him to come home we need to go to the emergency he asked me y as he was not aware about my pregnanacy so I told him that I am 5 weeks 4 days pregnant..he works nearby he immediately came home ..and took me to the centre..I dont had any cramps , pain and I was just worried ..the nurse took urine sample and asked me and my hubby to wait...we were discussing what were my plans to tell him..what is my due date and other things also..
The doc called us I said I M NOT PREGNANT... I was looking at him and saying this test is wrong do it again with my request and looking to my condition he did it again and took my hubby with him and then I again shows Negative ...As i dont have positive test and no pains he advised me to go back and then test it again in some day as he think I had a MISCARRIAGE...or a FALSE POSTIVE PREGNANCY....CHEMICAL PREGNANCY
I was shattered cried whole nite...I rang my fertility doc she said its impossible that if u r pregnant then within some hours it came negative.. It takes some time for the hormone to get pregnant to non pregnant Its is not possible so take test again after fourth day ...It was the moment I was being treated like a puppet in the natures hand...After 4 days I did the test again and again that faint line I rushed to the surgery centre for blood test and I called my fertility doctor she booked me for the scan after a day ...Then again there is a waiting time...I read a lot on internet after bleeding also bean stick to the body ... some fertility medication give false positive pregnancy...In miscarriage there is lot of bleeding till 10 days with big clots, tissues, cramping, pain ..But I had none of it ..i bleed for 5 days no clots no tissues lighter than usual periods...then I crossed my finger and gone to hospital for scan...
The doctor talked to me about everything which I had gone through she asked me for my blood report till now I was confused whether I was pregnant, not pregnant, miscarriage, false pregnancy...She took my blood report from the system and it showed pregnancy hormone level in blood (165) that is good enough...She asked me whether my periods r regular or irregular ..with irregular periods its difficult to say the conception date so she scanned me and said if its too early (2-3 weeks) then we will not able to see anything ..otherwise if according to me (6 weeks 3 days) we can see something....so she sent me for the scan
The Dr was unable to see anything everything was in perfect size & shape...No Internal fluid...My endometric layer was quiet thin as I had already shed it out (Periods)..so she again sent me back to the consulting doc.. Till that point of time everything was puzzled...so after all this the doc advised me to give one more blood test so that we can see the hormone level status whether its dropping, its increasing or stable...
As a lady concieved the hormone level in blood got double within 48 hours..so If i m still pregnant then my level would have increased from last blood test .If i m not pregnant then it would have dropped and if there is little bit of increase in hormone level then might the foetus is not developing...so she took a blood test and asked us to go home either or can wait in the cafeteria because this test takes almost 2 hours...
So again the waiting game so I stressed out so much that my mind my body stop working...we wait for 2 hours and then we went again to the doc room & got a bad news...
Since 48 hours my level was dropped to 106 which shows I had a miscarriage...At the centre it was wrong because disturbance in my hormone level and when they tested it was not my morning pee...Then after looking to my scan she said every internal part is in good position..there was a conception but no development....The doc advised me to test it after 7 days and not to take clomid till my next period....
so finally I back again on the same position from where i started .....Till that time I was so exhausted that my mind my body stop working.....
Oh God terrible week for me with lots of twist & turn ...Y God is so cruel on me...In all this My hubby was only concerned about me and my health ..not even a single time he asked about the pregnancy situation ..He was prepared for both but not on my life..I loved him a lot and always love him..He support me in emotionally, mentally he listened to me patiently and deal with my grief...
Lets see...this all happened 1 day before Valentines day..So on 14th we started with the fresh morning no cries no worries...we will make it again and this time successfully...

Hi All!
I hope everyone had a good weekend! I take my last day of Clomid today for this cycle. This is my first month taking Clomid. Could some of you please share on what day you ovulate when taking Clomid. My doctor told me to start testing on day 11. Would appreciate some input.

hi crmr2008...The best way to keep free of stress dont test when u r ovulating and hit ur fertile window 100 percent dont miss any day and enjoy every moment...and do ur blood test on ur 21st day of ur period... I did the same forget when I will ovulate and got success also but unfortunately it does not stick to me....

Oh Jinni, I had to cry when I read your post -the twists and turns, the desperate wanting. I was where you are some four months ago when I had a chemical pregnancy following an m/c at 12 weeks two months earlier, I couldn't stop crying... I am so sorry for your loss and I wish you much courage as you try again. I got my BFN last night so today is not a very good day, but trudge on we must. Baby dust to everyone. Leviemma

kittymom: I havent noticed much of a difference with the femara other than its a lot more expensive! Im also on prometrium for low progesterone. I had an IUI done yesterday so now we play the waiting game...again. If it doesnt happen this time Im going to see if my dr will run tests because if something is off there is no point to keep doing these IUI's until whatever the problem is is fixed.
Jinni: so sorry for you! i had an ectopic pregnancy and lost my tube. its all a horrible feeling

mtaylor829...All the best ..May this month is ur month ...But a small suggestion dont think about it make ur mind and heart relax (I know its difficult to ddo) but this will increase ur chance to work in a positive side..Rest leave to the Supreme Authority ...
Ya true its a horrible feeling and it will nevr go to out of mind...

leviemma I know..Sorry for ur loss also but after that u conceived again...Mine was very early so it was not able to travel till uterus so I started again ..but i know i am not taking clomid this month so will not be ovulating also so i hav to play again this terrible waiting game....

Hi ladies, im 30 yrs old and i have a 8 yr old daughter, now my DH and i have been trying for the second one but its been a strugle, so today i've just started with my first round of fertomid/clomid 5-9 days, am not sure how it will work but im hoping for the best, as i've seen some success on my friends. good luck to you all, i will keep you posted.

Hi Ladies!
I need your help. I am on my first round of clomid 50mg. I am on CD 16 and still have not ovulated (have not yet tested today). I have a friend who got pregnant on Clomid and she ovulated from anywhere from day 16 to day 20. Those who test your ovulation, could you please tell me what day you ovulate on. I am really trying not to get stressed. I know it is in God's hands, but I also want to be proactive. I would appreciate any input. Thanks!

I usually ovulate on cd 18 but my specialist said that anyone one will most likely ovulate on days 16-18 but everyone is different. Best of luck!

Hi crmr2008. I am also on my first round of clomid 100mg cd15 have not ovulated. Had sharp pains in both my ovaries this weekend so I am pretty sure something is happening in there. This is my first post so a little history, I have pcos and have had 5 losses, been trying for 10 years no pregnancy within the last 4. I am taking clomid day 3-7, progesterone at night, and metformin 2000mg a day. Fingers crossed for everyone!

Hi crmr2008 Every body is different so not sure..I cant tell u anything as I had not done when I was on the first round of clomid...because of the stress which make my body react differently...
But in my case i ovulated & got pregnant also but it was end as chemical pregnancy....
Best if luck and wish u get the dark line on Ovulation strip...

Hi everyone! I'm on my first round of Clomid since my tubal pregnancy last September. I'm on CD8 and I have my CD12 ultrasound Friday. I'm hoping I get positive news!!
Crmr2008, I got a positive for ovulation on CD13 when I was on Clomid last August. I have a 28 day cycle.
I decided to give up Facebook for lent this year. Since my tubal pregnancy, 19 people have announced their pregnancies. It was giving me a really bad attitude, which isn't what I need right now. I'm keeping everyone in my prayers. We're all in this together!!
