kittymom: Thats awesome that we are on the same schedule! I did everything the same way that you did. I wouldnt say it hurt or anything but it was definitely uncomfortable lol...I prefer the natural way if possible lol. My dr. said it looked like I had ovulated so we will see. If it dosent work there is always next month...You keep us updated as well :)

Hi Everyone!!
I just wanted to check in to see how everyone's week is going. I hope that some of you have received some good news! I go to the doctor in two weeks to start Clomid. I am just anxious to start it and get the ball rolling. I hope that everyone is keeping their chin up! I know it can be difficult. Praying you all have a blessed week!

Hi Ladi8 weeks and I am having TWINes,
I wanted to update my good news. :) I went to the doctor for my first ultrasound. i am 8 weeks and I am having Twins!!! I was in shock and still am. When she said she was 2 little babies I couldn't believe it! We got to hear there little heartbeats and it was the best sound ever. The doctor said she thought I might be having twins..since my blood work numbers were so high...;) I have waited years for this moment. I am very happy but also scared. God was with me the whole time I just got to keep having faith. 6 rounds of Clomid, 2 IUI's and look at me now! Baby dust to everyone.

Here's an update on me.....Third round of Clomid a bust. Getting a test done on Friday at the hospital to see if my tubes are open. If they are, I will continue with Clomid. If not, I either go on Lupron or surgery. I'm leaning towards surgery. Anyone have any personal experience with Lupron? Oh, found out IVF will cost 20-25K first cycle thanks to my wonderful company finding a loophole in the system so they don't have to cover IVF. PRAY for me....I need those tubes to be open on Friday!!!

Hi ladies :)
I am new to this forum. Normally I just read, but this is the first active and up to date forum I have found. Yay! I am on my 4th round of clomid. I did 3 cycles of 50mg w/opk's but nothing more. This month, I got bumped up to 100mg. I started charting my BBT's and CM along w/OPK's and BD'ing. I know which day I O'ed with was this past weekend. So, I am in my 2WW to see, killer!! I have some mild little cramps, but I think I'm just geting my hopes up so thinking everything I feel is something, lol :)
A little about me: I am 26, DH is 27, married since 2005 and high school sweethearts. We have 1 daughter who is 6. We have been ttc since our DD was about 3, but not consistently..on and off I used the nuva ring for bc while I was finishing school from 2010-2011. We have been TTC consistently for about a year now, but all together a few years. I have no abnormal diagnosis. I think we maybe just were missing the egg, at least that's what I'm hoping. I am not being monitored which makes me want to switch to an RE, but my doc said he'll refer me to one if these next 3 cycles of 100mg clomid doesn't work.
I am trying to remain hopeful. I O'ed on last Sunday (I believe) according to OPK, sharp pains, CM and BBT. So I can test in about a week and a half. The wait is killing me, and its SO HARD to not get my hopes up. I hope we all get our very own success stories soooooon!!!

As for me, I'm in the middle of my 2WW and have some weird symptoms. For example I got a YI (which I never get), but I started taking acidophilus twice a day and it seems to be getting better. I also feel a little light headed and bbs are getting sore, but part of me thinks I'm just imagining it because I'm hoping to feel those things as a sign that I might be pregnant. Oh well, guess I'll just have to wait and see.
I hope everyone is doing well this week!

Good luck NickiG. If this round of Clomid does not work (Round 6; currently on my 2WW) I too will have to have my fallopian tubes checked. I'm so discouraged and bothered by this, but at least I will have some answers...I hope!
Welcome Amanda1986! I'm also married to my high school sweetheart. We do not have any children together and are trying very hard for our first. I'm on 50mg's of Clomid. I've asked several times for my doctor to increase my dosage, but he doesn't want to because I ovulate well on the 50 mg's. I've heard of other doctors who start at 50 then increase if it does not happen within a few cycles despite the wellness in ovulation. It kind-of makes me wonder why mine won't try something stronger...but all-in-all, like you, I just hope we're missing the egg.

SAL1984, Thanks for the response :) You will get pregnant, its just a matter of timing! I'm sure! It took me a while to get pregnant with my 6 year old, and even harder this time around. But good things come to those who wait..I am a firm believer in that! How do you know for sure that you are ovulating? I think I am because of the CM, pain, temps and OPKs but it annoys me that my doc is not monitoring anything at all right now just wrote me the prescription and basically said see you in 3 months unless you don't get pregnant. Doc keep saying it will happen, but its sooo frustrating.

Amanda1986--Every couple of months I go to my doctor to have blood work completed. At 50 mg's I'm ovulating at 27, but nothing is happening. I really like my doctor, but sometimes I wish he would just bump me to 100 mg's to see if that will do the trick. My doctor too keeps saying it will happen. Because I have been pregnant (but lost the pregnancy) he thinks that is encouraging for we now know I can get pregnant. So I guess it is all just a matter of time.
Kittymom--I know this is a bizarre question, but are you taking anything to treat your YI? I only ask because I too have one (which are far and few for me), but my doctor told me because I am in my 2WW, that it is entirely up to me whether I want to treat it immediately (because it's very minor) or wait. I'm just scared because I do not want to mess anything up...

Hi Sal1984! I'm only taking acidophilus twice a day, because I wanted to see if it got better from that before I call my doc. So far it's about 80% better, but I feel the same way, afraid to treat it any other way in case it messes something up. I think Im going to keep taking acidophilus and hope it just goes away on its own. So bizarre and annoying because I never get those.
I'm so sorry you lost your pregnancy, that's awful. I hope you don't mind me asking, but did you get preg naturally or were you on Clomid? If so what dose?
