Can taking steriods affect you becoming Pg?

I have one child and have had one miscarige. I am now finding it hard to become pregant but have had no problems previously. My Partner has been takking setorids for a while but has now stoped them because we think it may be the reason for me not becoming pregnant. Could it be the reason if so how long would it take for the steroids to clear from his system? Thanks guys
