Taking unprescribed Clomid(advice and experiences)

Hello Ladys, I am writing on here because when i was searching google for clomid advice i noticed there was already several posts about it on this site. They were all REALLY old... so i thought i would start us a new one =) My bf and I have been trying for a baby for just over 3 years.. and we have had alot of tests over that time. My boyfriend is fine and the tests showed that I do not ovulate. The reason is unknown, as everything else is working fine and i have fallen pregnant before, which was a very long time ago. I was 17. After months of research and thinking about it very carefully i decided to go ahead and try clomid on my own without the help of a doctor! I am now only on my 2nd tablet today, I am taking 50mg days 3-7 of my cycle. I would really love if any of you could share your experiences of clomid with me, especially if you have or are taking it off your own backs... I know this sort of thing can cause some debate, so i just want to say in advance although i do respect your opinions,,, I have not gone into this lightly without considering it very carefully... i would just like to hear from people who have been through or are going through this.... Just a quick update, I have now taken 3 clomid tablets & feeling dizzy, having headaches and keep getting what i can only describe as period pain??!!
Has anybody else experienced this?

Hello Ladys...
Well... as you all know i have been panicking that my clomid hasnt worked! WELL, ITS WORKED!!!
I got up this morning and did an ovulation test, expecting nothing(as usual) And there it was!! =)
I am FINALLY ovulating!
So... lots of sex for me,.... and fingers crossed... i could have an extra special Christmas present!
I know... i wont get my hopes up too much, i am just so thrilled that AT LAST I have the same chance as the next person!
And i just cant believe that after all that... all the stress and worry i have been through, it was as easy as taking 5 tablets..

I just read the post about your use of clomid without being monitored by a doctr. I myself have choosen this same option. DH and I have been trying to concieve for about 10 months. Nothing. So I'm pretty sure you know how disappointing every month can be. I used the clomid cycle days 2-6. I did ovulate, I also used opks and my 2 week wait is up and no af but I will wait a couple of more days before I test because af is only 3 days late so far. I was extremely moody with the clomid but that about it. I have enough left for 2 months if it turns out that I need it. I only toke 50 mg.

yeah.. i know what you mean. Last week i started screaming at a woman in a supermarket because she got in my way! Its so enbarrising when i think about it now! I just got sooooooooo angry and i just couldnt help it.lol.
Make sure you keep me posted then!! I dont think i will be preggars this month.. i just dont think i have had sex enough!
=( The pressure of all this has made me and my bf argue quite a bit. I am sorry to say xxx
